Westmead Halal in Sutton

I've been ordering curry from Westmead for years and I won't order from anywhere else. The food is fresh and tasty, the staff are lovely and delivery is quick.

We have been using them for years and the food is consistently good as is the delivery service. We would recommend the Chicken Korma, Bilashi Murgh, Sag Aloo, Aloo Gobi & Mushroom Rice.

We have ordered from so many Indian restaurants in the area. I’ve eaten curry all over London. Used to live in Tooting and travelled the world eating curry. This place for the area is pretty fresh. We ordered again at the weekend and the food too 90 minutes to arrive. When it did NO apology. We called when it was 15mins late and they said it would be there in 15mins. 30mins later still not arrived. No apology from restaurant. Shame. Come on guys.

I only order from this place now as it is miles better than the others in Sutton. Delicious fresh food, courteous staff and fast delivery. I can't fault Westmead Halal.

We ordered 15 Naan bread for deleivery and when deleivered 8 of them were burnt(photos attached). When we complaint the guy said "We cook Naan in our oven and that's why It's burnt" I think the chef has no idea about how to make Naan. After making a complaint they deleivered another 8 Naan and again not done properly. Not gonna waste my time again with them.

Had a few friends over for a drink so decided to order curry. Great food and big portions. Delivered within 45 mins of ordering and very hot.

Hemos probado la mayoría comprada en la zona de india y sin duda este parece sutton sistemáticamente para ser el mejor del grupo.La mayoría hemos probado parece que sufren de lo que yo llamo el síndrome de Surrey curry, en donde la mayoría de las salsas son altamente color y parece ser de un sabor similar y a menudo eran demasiado dulces y parecía que había un montón de salsa y no mucha carne.Sin duda este no es cierto para el Westmead Halal.La única cosa que he probado aquí que parecía decepcionante fue la cebolla bhajis que he probado dos veces y parecía ser cocidas dos veces. Todo lo demás lo he intentado parece realmente bueno.

I walked into this takeaway after hearing alot about it, the service i recieved when i got there was amazing, the front staff where really friendly and chatty, food was just to die for it tasted absolutely lovely perfectly spiced, original Indian cuisine definitely goin back there and would recommend to all.

He estado usando Westmead Halal para alrededor de 20 años. Son consistentemente bueno y siempre muy amable. Su Pollo Dhansak es el mejor de la ciudad mi asomo. La comida nunca es demasiado grasienta, la comida siempre es agradable y fresco y las entregas de cierta cantidad viene siempre con algo extra. Saludos a todos!

Very disappointed. Ordered lamb balti tikka but it might as well been a tikka masala. Random chicken pieces in with the lamb?! Rice was dry and overall not an enjoyable meal.

I'm not a big fan of indian restaurants they're never usually traditional and authentic however Westmead Tandoori provided the traditional and authentic food. Very lovely staff and service delivery was spot on! Deffo paying them a visit again.

If we get Indian takeaway we only ever get from this place. Very reliable, speedy delivery and the food is always delicious. We always end up with some added extras (be it an extra bottle of coke or some mint sauce), maybe because we buy...

... run by nice people. They've been delivering to me for 8 years now and without any problems or hiccups . Quick delivery, friendly staff (the guy I believe is the owner is great) and never had the slightest cause for complaint. It's hard to find a curry house where the food is good with service to match so I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

We've recently moved to the curry Mecca of tooting. We struggled to find a decent, tasty take away but we've had two from here now and (touch wood!) they've been great! Tasty chilli chicken. Light chapati, good mushroom rice, they serve with onion salad (I love a bit of onion on my curry!); keep up the good work chaps. The delivery has been on time and the driver very well presented!

West mead halal was recommended to us. Food was lovely, arrived quicker than expected. The delivery man was very smart and friendly, will definately order again.

Food arrived after an hour and a half and when I called 10 mins before I was told if I order with just eat it will be 10-15 later. Apparently they have been very busy but king prawn sag had a burnt taste and the biryani was also burnt with black bits in it. Samosa was nice but also when spending over £35 a bottle of beer or something wouldn't hurt. Will avoid in future which is a shame as have used for a few years now

What I liked best was the distinct lack of oil & grease (which can be staggering at times) . Gives me the courage to order more often.

The chicken dansak was although it's a hot and sour dish it was a lot more spicier then previous times so didn't eat it all

This is not the first time we are ordering from Westmead Halal and we generally felt that this is a good takeaway place. However, We placed an order today at 7.40 and it came by 8.10. We noticed that the fried rice was not freshly prepared and also had a bad smell. We had to bin the entire food.

My favourite indian takeaway. The food is fantastic and taste delicious. Great price and very good portions. The difference between this takeaway and its competitors is the incredible customer service. Great customer service able to amend any meals and cater to any needs and demands.Strongly recommend to order from here.

Just had a takeaway from Westmead Halal and have to give them top marks. The food arrived earlier than anticipated, it was hot and freshly cooked, as we had placed a large order we received several extra dishes - a bonus. The naan was delicious and still baking hot. Definitely would use again!!

Having used westmead halal before I had been talking about it to my parents. Decided to have a curry night at our house and invite the parents along. Ordered online and gave delivery as 20:10 which was about an hour wait. Food came within 30 mins. 5 different curries all packed with flavour. No grease that you normally get with some Indian takeaways. Wonderful nan breads. Good veg side dishes. Everyone left the table stuffed and the freezer has some new friends. Definitely will use them again.

Absolutely fantastic food, customer service is one of the best I've experienced. For those of you reading this, I recommend ordering the sylheti biryani. Delicious!

We order From here a lot it's generally really good but on the odd occasion the sag aloo can be watery and the chicken over cooked. It's like there's 2 different chefs maybe?!

Always use this takeaway if I'm working late. The food is always good . I love the flat onion barjis. Always friendly .it is very popular and gets very busy at weekends so sometimes a long wait.Never had a bad meal.The tv is always on news chanel and thrre are 2 large sofas to sit on... Will continue to use.

Although we had one item missing from our order, the food was fantastic and as was the service. We rang up to enquire about the missing item and they were incredibly apologetic and polite and resolved the issue. Top service, top quality. Highly recommend!

This is a takeaway only restaurant food is of a reasonable standard we do not have specials menu you will be offered a free Bombay Alou with every order generally always a good standard but can be slow on weekends due to being busy

By far the worst curry ever! No taste and runny. The rice had cold clumps. Even the mint sauce was horrible. Never again

Ooooo yeah! When I taste the food from the curry kings, all I wanna do is dance and sing, the taste of spice is oh so nice, lovely madras and mushroom rice. Yeah!!!

Very dispointed with this meal, been going here for 12yrs & had a rude member of staff who came to deliver as didn't have correct change! Then the potatoes weren't cooked & the curry tastes of spice, no flavour. Chicken over cooked in one dish & looked abit iffy on the other. Over all awful & will not be ordering from here again!

I regularly order from here due to it's location. Unfortunately the vegetarian/vegan selection is quite limited for an Indian restaurant but the sizes are large and what they do, they do well. Credit cards are accepted for all orders and you can phone in advance, as with most takeaways. Inside is always spotlessly clean with a television to keep you from boredom as you wait for the order.

Go here regularly and have never had a bad curry. Food is great and the service is second to none. They always double-check the order and never have to come back with anything. They are a hard act to follow!!!

As always the flavours are fused in appropriate volumes. The food is cooked to perfection, this isn't any old takeaway it's Sutton's finest.

Ordered 6 items, but they gave us at least 5 extra free items like poppadoms for our first order, which was great. Delivery time was good too, taking under 40 minutes. Generally I like my food medium spicey, and I guess they cater to milder palates, as the Tikka Masala was too sweet for my wife's liking. The Sag Panir was also too sweet for her as well. The Onion Bhajis were delicious, but sadly the Garlic naan had way too much garlic for us. It looked as though 2 whole garlics were shredded and cooked with it. Overall good, but I'd like it spicier (the Tikka Masala and Sag Panir were sweet, infact too sweet to the level of sweeter than a korma), and not spicey at all.

Food arrived in a reasonable time for a Sat night, arrived hot, was one of the best curry's we have had for a long while, bar the butterfly prawn, slightly over cooked.

Disappointing as previously lovely food. Lacked spice and flavour. Delivery took a long time although they did call to apologise.

We ordered from here for the 1st time as it had good reviews. However we were very disappointed. We paid nearly £9 for a king prawn dish and under two halves of tomato and some peppers were 8 shrivelled up pieces of something that were not in the shape of a prawn, more like just the tail end? Very chewy. The chicken tandoori was also dry and overcooked. So was the chicken in the korma. The lamb bhuna had hardly any lamb in it! We won't be using this restaurant again!

Worst takeaway ever! Huge Globules of uncooked curry paste don't belong in my korma. It meant the korma was very sickly sweet. Very small portion of samosa for price, felt very ripped off. This was a very unfortunate meal.. Waste of money, don't recommend..
