We have been going here for a while now. The Carvery is fantastic, always fresh and hot. A special mention to Lorna who always gives us a lovely welcome and looks after us well.

Always love breakfast in here, never too busy, and haggis for breakfast.

Friendly Staff, lots to choose from the menu. Different areas to sit. Carvery on offer if you prefer. If you have any problems the staff are happy to sort them out. Lorna goes out her way to help and makes sure that all customers are happy with everything. If you're looking for something different for a Christmas lunch then look at the menus. Some you need to book and pay a deposit and pre order your food.

Shearen was our server and was fantastic, welcoming us into the restaurant and explaining how to order. Lovely lady, this is our third visit and Shearen is always polite and happy and the service is wonderful from her.

Once again Keith the chef does not disappoint. The food is expertly prepared, displayed and tastes delicious. An excellent place to visit as well as it is not overcrowded and there is no sign of being rushed either. Prices are also excellent. Top rated - special thanks to Keith the chef so his efforts. Too often the chef is left out of reviews but not this time.

Food took to long. Quality so so. I order fish and chips and the size of the fish was half compared with other places. Service? What service? Inexistente.

Went at 7pm, party of 7 people. There was no carvery because they had no meat, no mac and cheese and no coffee as there machine wasn't working. However, what we did manage to eat was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great choice of veg etc that a lot of the others don’t have. Meat was lovely and we enjoy going here for lunch. Only thing was a couple of staff finishing shift and gossiping with other staff on shift and some choice of words weren’t great, but I’m sure this was a one off as never had it before

I went to lunch with my gran and cousin and we were welcomed by sherea who was so polite and welcoming and showed us promptly to our table. Sherea continued to be really helpful, and engaging throughout our meal asking if we enjoyed our meal and asking if she could get anything else. Overall lovely food and lovely service

Upon arrival we we got a big hello from Lorna. We were told how it worked pick a seat and enjoy. Lorna interaction with us was great and alway smiling throughout the chat. The front of house lady Tracy she got involved in the chat and was an overall experience.

Sunday carvery was really tasty - the beef was very tender. Great range of veg and roast tatties! Nice helpful staff.

I you do one thing…. Try the cakes. The food is great but the cakes are in another dimension

Looked after by Lorna and Sheree who are excellent. Friendly and welcoming and there is nothing that’s too much trouble for them. Food good. Environment lovely. Meet nurse colleagues after night shift for breakfast. Recently started doing this and will continue to do so.

We had an exceptional experience with Megan's service! Not only was she incredibly friendly and professional, but she also went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. When my friend’s child needed additional milk, Megan didn’t hesitate to make it happen, which truly speaks to her attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. It’s rare to find someone so thoughtful and kind in customer service. I highly recommend Megan, and I look forward to being served by her again in the future!

Great carvery, gammon and chips. Cakes and ice cream looked amazing but just too much for us. Would highly recommed. Service was swift and friendly, Charlene the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Came for breakfast after a night on the tiles. Such a warm and friendly welcome from Lorna. Service was great and the food was also.

Fantastic staff, clean place, and food is always great they even gave us something we asked for that wasn't on the breakfast menu poached eggs. Always recommend Laurna is great

Value for money but beef on carvery overcooked and some of the vegetables had been sitting out too long. The green beans were inedible. Filthy ladies toilets. No hand soap in either dispenser. Middle cubicle out of order. Left hand cubicle had a wonky toilet seat and the toilet seat in the right hand cublicle was covered in oily fingerprints. Spoke to the manager who said he'd address these issues.

Came yesterday for lunch Beatriz was helpful explaining the menu and how the carvery worked and she recommended that I should go up for the carvery once other meals arrived at table so me and family could eat together

Stayed nearby which promised food but this place was much better. We enjoyed dinner (Beef & Ale pie was good) and returned next morning for breakfast. Interesting nowhere in Scotland has porridge, disappointing :-). Service was friendly (Thanks Lorna). It’s a carvery/pub so set your expectations to match. Food was good and prices were very reasonable. Recommended.
