Ended up with terrible food poisoning, sick for three days! Avoid

Order well in advance. They desperately need a website.

Chips are cooked from frozen so not proper chippy style (more like what you'd get in a pub) which is shocking for a "Fish and Chip Shop". However, the Chinese food is ok. They would be better sticking to what they do best or investing in a potato chipper and do things properly

"Best tasting Chinese dish I've had in ages", was said in the car! Friendly service, good value and portions. (Had our own cutlery).

using Frozen chips will not buy again

Spare ribs were almost too salty to eat. Special fried rice was actually thick, stodgy boiled rice that was almost entirely tasteless and ended up in the bin.

I was a little alarmed at the price asked but when I got the fish and chips home, I realised that I had two enormous pieces of cod. One would have done the two us. Fresh fish, crisp batter, crunchy chips. All good.

Good takeaway Chinese food, nothing special but decent.

Ordered two meals, but didn’t hear the wok cooking them in the background, so everything was pre-made. Chow Mein was dry and the sauce in my beef in black pepper and honey was watery with not even a hint of pepper. The fried rice was nice, but that was all. Disappointing.

Very expensive. Fish has skin on it which I like but others may not. Fish was slimey, batter was thick. Chips were dry. Chinese and fish and chips in one shop was one of the only good things. There is parking across the road but it will probably be full up. Spring rolls were nice. Crisp batter, nice flavour.

Just to show how good they are orderd my food n went to eat it on the bench accros the road and the lady came out with a fork to make shore I was ok to eat it. Food was spot on as well couldn't ask for more from a Chinese take away.

This is based on what we had last night Cod and chip twice. £17.50. All batter not much cod. £6.50 for Coded batter. Be warned. I have never paid this much for F and C before and such a miserly offering.

Under New Management! What a disappointment. The chips were like cardboard and the lady was miserable. I ate the bare minimum to take away the hunger and then put the rest in the bin. Been using this shop for years - can't see me going back.

So today I went in and realised it was under new - management . I was looking forward to my Friday takeaway but the lady at the till was giving me dirty looks through the glass and has made the prices go up . I’m really disappointed and upset , also has changed the noodles and portion sizes

Friendly staff, fish is good and the Chinese menu is varied and tasty. Can't go wrong.

They can't cook Chinese food all. Dont waste your time or money ..

Most of the food here is nice I visit it frequently, it also has reasonable prices with friendly staff. However some of the food is hit and miss on different days.

The Chinese food is always lovely. Not so keen on the Fish & Chips though. Tried it a couple of times and seemed very greasy.

The best Chinese takeaway I have ever had! I probably visit this takeaway more than I should but it is just that tasty! The sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is my absolute favourite and the crispy aromatic duck is superb. The fish and chips are also great and are always fresh. I really would reccomend giving this place a go for your next takeaway!

Best Chinese take away for miles

Excellent fish and chips, a new thinner batter is great! Portion size is substantial and customer service is very good! Superb value for money!

Seems a bit hit and miss great food but portions seem to vary in size.
