Traveled 30+ minutes to this restaurant in Otley and wasn't disappointed! One of Managers Hussain and waiter Salim provided exceptional service - attentive, friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious with authentic flavors and generous portions. Plenty of parking available, making arrival convenient after the drive. The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance. Definitely worth the trip for a memorable dining experience!

Visitado aquí anoche, desde que entramos nos dieron un gran servicio de principio a fin, tuvimos la madrugadora que fue de cuatro platos con mucha elección, todavía se puede elegir del menú principal si lo desea, la comida salió como y cuando estaba listo para ello y fue entregado por el chef que lo cocinó, cada plato estaba lleno de sabor y era uno de los mejores curry que hemos tenido, decir que era un lunes que estaba muy ocupado que solo puede ser por la calidad de la comida y el servicio.

Muy buen restaurante y comida. Malcriado por 2 cosas: En primer lugar, un grupo numeroso de jóvenes muy ruidosos y groseros en una mesa adyacente. En segundo lugar, nos cobraron £ 4. 25 para "bandeja de pepinillo" que pensamos que venía con los 3 poppadoms que pedimos - nunca se ha cobrado por esto antes y no estoy seguro de lo que pasó con la bandeja de pepinillo que volvió más o menos lo mismo que llegó. No está claro lo que se obtiene con sus popdoms si no tose hasta las £ 4. 25 pero ten cuidado. De lo contrario, una comida aplastante.

Comida increíble: deliciosa, tamaños de porción grandes y calidad maravillosa. El menú también tiene una gama realmente grande, por lo que puede probar algo diferente cada vez que vaya. Incluso el menú "Early Bird" tiene una gran variedad de entrantes y platos principales, por lo que sientes que tienes la oportunidad de probar algo nuevo, incluso si tienes un presupuesto ajustado. Esta vez tuvimos los pepinillos y los poppadoms, que estaban deliciosos (y nos encantó que la bandeja tuviera información sobre cada uno de los pepinillos para que pudieras averiguar cuál era tu favorito! ) , luego para empezar mi esposo tuvo tikka de hígado de pollo, que era una enorme porción de hígados de pollo tiernos con la especia justa. Tuve paneer pakora, porque no se puede equivocar con el queso frito (! ) , y la masa tuvo un encantador golpe suave de especia. Perfectamente cocinado también. Ambos tuvimos un plato de cordero y espinacas para el plato principal y estaba delicioso, con cordero que era tan tierno. El camarero vino a hablarnos de las espinacas que se estaban usando en el plato y nos explicó que ahora estaban usando solo espinacas frescas. Ciertamente, se sumó al encantador sabor limpio, sin regusto metálico que a veces se puede obtener con espinacas enlatadas. El pan naan es maravilloso también. Si no puedes terminar las generosas porciones de comida, te animamos a llevártela a casa contigo, y tuvimos otra buena comida de nuestras "sobras" al día siguiente, así que es un valor fantástico. Y por maravillosa que sea la comida, el servicio es aún mejor. Los camareros son rápidos, amables y realmente no pueden hacer lo suficiente para que su experiencia allí sea absolutamente genial. Ellos te darán consejos sobre platos, te harán recomendaciones, etc. pero nunca sentirás que te empujan a pedir más de lo que querías. El menú de bebidas es bueno, con varios sabores de lassi diferentes - el mango es precioso! Puede volverse LOCO ocupado y ruidoso en las noches de fin de semana y honestamente, nos parece un poco abrumador entonces, pero si quieres un gran curry en un entorno más tranquilo ve de lunes a miércoles, si te gusta bullicioso y un poco ruidoso, ve en cualquier otro momento!

Always outstanding food from here, fast delivery too

He calificado nuestra visita promedio debido a la música alta e innecesaria que estaba en auge haciendo imposible la conversación con amigos. Terrible service. The order was wrong and when I called up to say we had korma instead of chicken tikka masala I was told I ordered wrong. I spent £67 in total and I wanted a refund for the 2. Main courses just , £28 this was refused. Won’t be back.

The meat was very chewy unfortunately. I've been a regular to westbourne for some time and never been disappointed but my chicken tikka garlic wasn't up to the same standards as usual. Shame

this is ma second time i am ordering foods,i just loved the food and taste was amazing..i liked there service also. they give me 10 pound voucher as well.juz luved it.

Food quality was very disappointing to say the least. In particular the curry sauce with the Biryani was literally brown water with a few chickpeas floating around. The other main dish was half a tub of ghee and pretty much, that is what it tasted of with spice. The starters were just ok. Delivery was on time and very polite. Really really disappointed.

We have been going to the Westbourne on a regular basis for years and it never fails to deliver above and beyond. The staff are an absolute delight and the service is fantastic. All the dishes we have tried (and that’s most of the extensive menu) are better than any other curry restaurant we have been to bar none and we have been to plenty. If you want the best in Asian cuisine and are lucky enough to live close just go - you won’t find better.

The Westbourne Spice is a great restaurant. The staff are very friendly, topped, but most importantly the food is excellent - extremely tasty and perfectly spiced . I personally recommend the grilled tiger prawns, they are fabulous!

We came as a couple on the back of a recommendation and we were so impressed we came back twice within 2 weeks. On this occasion (2 nights ago) we brought family members so that they could enjoy it too. An extensive menu, the food is excellent and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Service is impeccable. You never have to wait for or ask for anything. All the team are really attentive. I like that they offer a break between courses so you equally don’t feel rushed. We will definitely be regulars here.

this restaurant looks amazing and looks are not deceiving ,from entering the staff are professional friendly . the restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated , a good seating area where you wait to be shown to your table .. the waiters are well dressed and so very helpful. The food was well presented hot and plentiful and were so accommodating when we asked if we could take some home that we had left.. definitely will be going back back

We brought 4 friends for the first time, one of whom had severe food allergies. Not only was the food superb , but our friend with the allergies was catered for & made to feel so special & not an inconvenience. The meal was amazing & the staff just always go the extra mile. First time dining tonight in this beautiful restaurant celebrating our golden wedding anniversary with friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating staff who took great care to ensure we had a lovely evening. The ambience in the restaurant itself is really relaxing and very comfortable. An excellent dining experience and we will definitely return. Ten out of ten for this stunning restaurant

1st time I ordered it was great from here but this time poor quality. Chips were soggy, spicy poppadoms were underdone. Ordered a chicken tikka masala and their was no spice, was watery and tasted more like a chicken korma. Also ordered a balti chicken butter and unfortunately their was a done in there and really put me off. Shame really as when I ordered the first time it was fantastic.

Went to Westbourne Spice as a lot of people recommended it to me. When arrived I was seated straight away, even though we didn't book. Where were sat, we could feel the hot air conditioning hitting us and felt like we had walked into the Sahara Desert. When asked if it could be turned off or put on a low setting, the owner pulled a face at us and told the waiter off, even though we had asked for it to be turned off. If you want a place to eat where the owner pulls faces at you, this is the spot! The waiter however was really nice and friendly but we felt rushed by the manager who kept asking us over and over again if we were ready to order even though we had told the waiter that we wanted more time and he acknowledged that but we kept getting pestered by the manager. Whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal, the manager kept asking us are we finished even though we were still eating and proceeded to remove the plates off the table. Not a minute had gone by and the bill was on the table, even though we wanted to finish our drinks off. Again we were rushed out by the manager and the whole evening was ruined thanks to the manager.

We tried this after a recommendation from friends and it exceeded our expectations. The interior was very glam, clean and spacious. You could not ask for more from the staff, they were so helpful and pleasant. We both had the early bird menu which was fantastic value for money. More than ample starters and the curry was first class. Staff were more than happy to pack up what we could not manage. One of the best curries houses I have ever been too.

First time here! We decided to try something new and stumbled upon this place on google. On arrival outside was quite pretty, love the decor , entrance was clean infact the whole restaurant was, staff were immaculate, loved how organised the staff were. What a team!! Seated right away, order taken , drinks at the table within the minute I couldn’t be more impressed by how attentive the staff were without being intrusive. Great eye for detail such as clearing empty bottles, changing cutlery and napkins. I couldn’t be more impressed for our first time. Food was great, good value and priced well. Will 1000% be returning. Really I appreciate how hard it is to find a team that is all hardworking and works so well together. Smashed it boys!! Thankyou and see you soon!

Incredible food, served promptly, hot, immense flavour. Garlic naan and chilli and garlic chicken Karahi were amazing! Really busy restaurant and I know why now. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Only thing I would ask is that when you are asked to wait in the bar area you communicate what the delay is for if you've booked

On the advice of a friend, we decided to vist Westbourne Spice. Car park was nearly full, but we just got last space. We were greeted inside and were seated within minutes. Our waiter Asif was very attentive and was pleasant and talkative. Food was spot on, starters were fresh and the main meal was extremely tasty. My wife noted that this was the best she had tasted. I dont think it was overly expensive, but even if it was more, I couldnt complain as the quality, taste, sercive were all excellent. Would recommend and definately return in the future.

We called into Westbourne Spice around 7.00pm on Saturday night without a booking and the restaurant was already full. We knew we were taking a chance on getting a table but the front of house staff invited us to sit and have a drink as they hoped to have a table available in around 25 minutes. More and more people came in after us and we wondered how long we would have to wait but the front of house staff were extremely well organised and returned to us 2 or 3 times to reassure us that the wait wouldn't be too long. There's a great vibe in this place and we really didn't mind the wait as we knew it would be worth it and we weren't disappointed. The food here is excellent and our starters and Hyderabadi chicken main course were wonderfully flavourful and beautifully presented. The service throughout was amazing and deserves special mention as Westbourne Spice is a large restaurant which was extremely busy but we really felt we were receiving individual attention the whole time we were there. Well done guys.

Superb!! We are regular visitors every Saturday. All the staff are perfect. Food is always of the highest quality and piping hot. Nothing is too much trouble if you are unhappy they will change things until you are happy. This is our restaurant of choice every week for a long time now. I always have the same chicken tikka and keema balti, apparently the new hydrabardi is also very good We will be there this week yet again

Prices haven't risen again quite considerably unfortunately so have the portion sizes.... Disappointing

Another visit to the best restaurant in the area. Whenever the family visit we have to go to the Westbourne. This time one of our great nephews was having his first curry experience,which of course he loved. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent as ever. Alfie the dog loved the chapatti I took home for him.

Absolutely brilliant time the food was outstanding the service was fantastic. Brand new menu tried chicken Hyderabai absolutely delicious a must try.

Tasted good but arrived cold. Food arriving hot from a takeaway to the customers door should be a priority. I had to microwave the curry and heat the kebab in the oven. Pretty annoying tbh.

We visited as a group of 8 for my dad’s birthday. We have been as a group before and we returned because it was so lovely the first time. Happily it was just as great on this visit. The staff are so attentive and friendly, but not annoying like some places where you feel pestered throughout your meal. The food was great, we shared starters between us which all arrived at the same time, piping hot and nicely presented. The main courses were equally good, the portion sizes were very generous and we took home doggy bags with the leftovers. The guys had asked if we were there for a celebration and very kindly brought out a cake and sang happy birthday to my dad at the end of the meal. I can heartily recommend this restaurant for their food, service and overall great hospitality.

There was plenty of the food but it was a little bland.

Absolute quality! Cant believe how much food we were served. Everything delicious and the service was out of this world. We called on a busy Saturday night and were accommodated without question, treated like royalty, and served beautiful, piping hot deliciousness. Brought half home to eat the next day. Wish we lived closer.

We have been regular indian restaurant diners for 30 years or so at multiple venues..and used to visit here before...but moved house and not been for 5 years or more... We decided to revisit tonight, and were blown away by the whole experience.. A warm friendly welcome in a spotlessly clean venue.. Ordered Lamb chops and onion bhaji starters, amazing portions and especially the chops were large and simply delicious. Mains we went for a Liver special and a chicken jalfrezi...both were melt in the mouth tender and beautifully flavoured... Also had a peshwari nan and boiled rice...and some drinks... I struggle to think of anywhere i have had a better indian meal experience than Westbourne spice. Trust me, this place is well worth a visit.

Always the best food from Westbourne Spice, I love a good curry but these are always amazing and levels above. The nawabi Khana curry is the best I've ever had from anywhere, every time we have it. Always an amazing treat - thanks all!

We ordered from just eat as we needed delivery, they took our payment then we received a messag saying our food was ready for collection. So we are now £56 out of pocket and no food. Wish I could have rated them on food quality, but never got that far. Beware of just eat delivery and places that won't reimburse you for food you never received
