West Cornwall Pasty Co in North West Leicestershire

I visited this retail outlet on 1/08/24 @ 10:10am and was very pleased with the service. The member of staff was cheerful and showed me the sausage before proceeding with my order. She also explained that the coffee was ethically (FairTrade) sourced and it tasted great! The sausage bap was also delicious - the best I've tasted in years. So, well done to the member of staff and thank you for a delicious breakfast. Thank you.

Had a bacon and sausage sandwich. The sausage was OK bacon was so hard to chew and swallow. The bun Could have been classed as an offensive weapon. It was rock hard, bone dry like a brick. No spread on it honestly it is hands down the worst sandwich I have ever had the miss fortune of trying. Coffee was OK and service with a smile.

Good service & piping hot but very disappointed with cornish pasty flavour & texture. Fellow traveller thought recipe had changed from steak pieces to minced beef- no definition of flavours & in my opinion too much salt. Has the recipe changed?

Me and my mate tried here as we was fed up with the rubbish from burger king. This was 100 percent better. Proper tasty bacon and sausage. The guy serving was really nice, very cheerful. Thanks.

Had a look, asked them where the Cumberland sausage was made, was told it wasn't in Cumbria, I said for it to be authentic Cumberland then it had to be made in Cumberland, half of Cumbria was not Cumberland, she got nasty and said I didn't know what I was talking about, I informed her that I was born in Cumberland, live in Cumberland and actually was head Cumberland sausage maker for Richard Woodalls for a number of years where I made Cumberland for Buckingham place on a number of occasions, anyway, after all that she was still being snotty, I tried to buy a pasty only to be told it was card only so I declined as I only use cash in person out of respect for the small business owners

Great service to stop at. Avoid the Cornish pasty co food tho 😬 had a Cumberland sausage with skin so thick no number of insults would upset it especially in the safety of its breeze block of a bun. All I really did was pay to pop it in the bin for them :( To be fair it was a bit of nostalgia, the skin did remind me of my first bmx peddle knee scab. perhaps I should have opted for something they are named after.

Lovely pasties as always and compliments to the lady that served us, so kind putting meal deals in paper bags to help what a refreshing change to find customer service this good.

Good value pasty for motorway setting, was scalding hot though.

Stopped off at donnington services, a long drive in but worth the wait... greeted by Karen, kind and generous, a lovely experience! Thank you Karen, definately coming again!
