Ullapool non è un centro vastissimo e soprattutto fuori stagione estiva abbiamo inteso che le attività operative diminuiscono. Pre e post tour in barca abbiamo fatto stop in questo localino dove con cortesia e carineria ci hanno preparato degli ottimi panini,un buon caffè (per un italiano che si trova in Scozia non è per nulla banale.......) ,mangiato qualche pezzo di dolce con un buon the.

Absolutely delicious hummus and roasted pepper sandwich, freshly made and thoroughly enjoyed! Great coffee, too, and lovely service.

Lovely little deli full to the brim with produce. Huge selection of cheese to choose from and great spot for lunch, with a large selection of toasties and sandwiches. I got a cranberry and Brie toastie, which I highly recommend and shared a selection of cake (rocky road was a firm favourite). Soup of the day (chick pea and lentil) also went down very well. Good coffee too and friendly staff.

Having walked a bit around ullapool looking for a vegan bite to eat, I had resigned myself to tesco and its offering. When I walked down a road I hadn't seen, I stumbled across this place and went in for a browse, saw the menu and wa staggered they had a vegan cheese toastie available! Then I saw vegan lemon cake. Day made. Trudy the owner chatted away to me about the place and even gave me the end of the lemon cake as a free piece. Wonderful service and equally wonderful food. I stay a few hours drive away but I can guarantee that I'll be visiting again soon!

Charming deli in centre of Ullapool. Great selection of produce, including a wide range of cheeses. Cakes and pastries to eat in. Peanut butter brownie was insanely delicious. Coffee was disappointing.

A lovely shop stocking a wide range of local products of very good quality and a cafe serving drinks, cakes and light meals. Staff are exceptionally helpful and the shop is very good value. Outside seating and takeaway. A really lovely place.

A little gem of a place. Very good quality food and drink. Helpful staff. Much of the food is prepared on site with good quality ingredients. Handy for takeaway or al fresco snacking.

The staff are so friendly and the sandwiches excellent. I always go in for an Ullapool Bridie which is made in the shop. It is packed full of lovely meat and does me both lunch and a snack the next day. Really good value too!

Lively staff. Excellent GF cake!! Really good toasted sandwiches and coffee. Interesting eclectic range of tins and jarred food. Well worth a nosey.

Not much open in Ullapool on a Sunday morning. We saw this little deli and popped in. We had coffees and toasties along with a lemon and coconut slice. The toasties are really good with plenty filling, very generous amount of filling and decent quality fillings too. They were well toasted and not at all soggy, nicely crisped. Coffee is weak but drinkable. We would definitely return. We would say, please cut the toasties in half before serving. 😀

Great deli with a wide range of food! We stopped in a few times during our visit in Ullapool and every time it didn’t disappoint. There were lots of nice holiday treats and necessities such as rolls and cheese. There was also a wide range of home baked things, both savoury and sweet, we tried quite a few (quiche, toasties, home baking and coffee) they also have a selection of ice creams and lots of lunch/dinner options on offer. Everything you would expect and more from a great deli!

If you have an hour to wait for a lukewarm insipid coffee served by staff more interested discussing last nights TV shows then this is the place for you. Absolutely hopeless

We love this deli. It is small but has some really good food items for sale and has a wonderful array of cheeses, many of them local. It serves super sandwiches to eat on on eof the tables outside the store or to take away. Service is really friendly and the whole place has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Popped in early for some breakfast. Flat white - very good. Cheese and ham toastie - very good quality and flavour. Just needed a napkin. Loads of interesting food stuffs. Well worth a visit.

My husband went to the West Coast Deli to get sandwiches for our drive out of Ullapool. The deli is beautiful with an array of choices for food and gifts! The sandwiches we ordered were delicious and the bread very fresh.

Beautiful little Deli. Very well stocked. Toastie was lovely but coffee was well below standard and weak. The lady who took our order asked if I would like an extra shot of coffee. I’m glad I said yes as if it was only one shot, it would have been like coloured water. Wouldn’t go back based on the Coffee alone. p.s. table and chairs outside but no shelter and it was raining heavily.

I always look forward to returning to this deli. they have a fantastic cheese counter with lots of Scottish delicious cheeses and various other deli products. They also serve a splendid range of freshly made sandwiches to take away or eat on the small number of tables outside the shop. Definitely worth a visit and staff are so friendly.

This is a lovely shop and cafe with seating outside with lovely views of the hills, a very relaxing place to sit. The ladies in the shop were very cheerful and very professional at what they do. I ordered coffee and a millionaire's shortbread, the coffee was lovely and the large millionaire's shortbread was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a coffee and a treat, i know i will definitely be back if i return to Ullapool

Ottime proposte di panini e toast con prodotti scozzesi di qualità. Ottimo anche il caffè. Si ordina e paga al banco e poi si ritira tutto da una finestrella che da sull’esterno . O si porta via o ci si può fermare nei tavolini esterni

Like the excellent DM Seafoods (another Ullapool gem), this was a real pleasure. Lovely people. Lovely food.

We visit every time we go to Ullapool. It is well set up for Covid. We both had quiche and coleslaw, really tasty and good value as always. The carrot cake was amazing. The staff are helpful, welcoming and efficient. It is always a pleasure to visit. When weather permits we eat outside but on this occasion just picked up lunch to eat at home

We very much like this Deli and frequent it when we are in Ullapool on a regular basis. The shop is well stocked with interesting foods and ingredients including a good cheese counter and they serve lovely fresh food - today we had a vegan lentil soup that was delicious and some salads with quiche. All items were great. In our experience over the years, this deli can be relied on for consistent quality. Staff are really helpful and friendly.

The delicatessen has an excellent variety of choices and a considerable variety of cheeses as well as several quiches. The staff were very helpful and we will return.

Organic Ingredients and so yummy. We had the soup of the day, sweet potato, not normally my fav but it was delicious! I also had a quiche salad that was fantastic. Just going back for carrot cake and tea. All the locals seem to use...

As well as a coffee we'd hoped to buy sandwiches for a picnic, and maybe some deli items (like olives, salami, etc). Nope. One of us sat outside while the other joined the queue. Had to leave the queue when he got near the board...

As usual another wonderful meal. Their quiches are amazing as are their cakes. The coffee is excellent. The Covid protection is well organised. A great variety of interesting food is stocked and the staff as always really helpful

As we had a busy day of driving ahead, we got four of the deli filled rolls to takeaway. These were absolutely delicious and some in our party went onto say some of the best rolls they had ever had! Would really recommend to anyone...

Great place for amazing cheese and meat! Try the Scottish Salami! Wilbur and Rachel sandwiches - really good to take out! And the millionaires shortcake was amazing! Definately worth a stop.

Had an absolutely delicious toastie and couldn't stop there! Ended up having a freshly made sandwich, a home made soup and two slices of the home made cake! Absolutely delicious and will return! Would have sat at their nice outdoor seating area had it not...

We had iced mochas to go, which were excellent, but they refused to make them in our own cups - come on guys, there are lots of ways of doing this despite covid! But the coffee was superb and at least the take away cups...

We stopped for a coffee and took some sandwiches away with us which were lovely. It’s quite expensive but it is a deli with quality products so it’s to be expected.

Sadly only found this place on my last day in Ullapool having struggled to find good coffee for much of the week. A lovely deli, had I been staying for longer I’d defibgave picked up some tasty treats. As it was, it was coffee and...

Restaurant was closed due to covid restrictions but we were able to order a lovely graze sharing box . The selection and quality of the food was super and made an enjoyable meal

We have eaten at this deli on many occasions in the past but his was the first time in Covid-19 times. Social distancing was well respected and all other obvious precautions were in place. I purchased lots of different local cheeses and some superb cake....

The food and coffee in here are amazing ! However , they need to pay more attention to “ breaking the chain of infection “A customer returned a tray , the worker took said tray and laid it on a food prep area, then picked it the loudspeaker handset , then went into the kitchen , picked up a paper bag , put someone’s sandwich in it , laid the bag down where the potentially contaminated tray had been . I then suggested the hands were washed , but the handset ,the surface weren't wiped , along comes the next worker , touches the handset , lays stuff on the contaminated surface and so it goes on! I’m all for them keeping themselves safe but they need to keep their customers safe too ! Disappointed frankly , they’re infection control basics

Plenty of parking spaces round here. Lovely little shop. We stopped for a cake and coffee and sat outside in the sunshine. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and they seemed to be very busy with the locals going in so it must be very popular.

West Coast Delicatessen is the place to go for delicious food and coffee and a chat. The service is exemplary, friendly and with a smile, nothing is too much trouble here. The coffee menu is outstanding and the food beautifully presented. This establishment is frequented by mostly local people, which is always a good sign (they know where is best!) The cheese counter is one of the best I have ever encountered outside of France, and the range of deli foods on the shelves have been chosen because they are from the best quality suppliers. I will be back again!

I stopped for quick coffee with friends during our travel through Scotland. I read some reviews and we chose this place. It was worth it! Perfect coffee, alternative milks. Friendly service. It was fantastic moment of pleasure:)

Parked right outside, friendly welcome. Useful delicatessen shop. Cafe had good choices, I had a cream tea, very tasty scone. Service good and friendly. Seems there are lots of local customers.

Found this little gem when it was recommended for cheese.Decided to treat myself to a really delicious cappuccino and a sandwich.Since I was working locally for a week this became my “go to” for exceptional service and coffee.Staff are great and everything about it says “Welcome !!!!”Will definitely be back every time I’m anywhere near Ullapool .

We stopped for breakfast before catching the morning Ferry to Stornoway. They have a limited breakfast menu of croissants and sausage rolls, however staff were happy to accommodate my request for a warm Brie and ham croissant. The flat whites were beautifully made and the deli is warm, clean and the staff are friendly. What more do you need.

Have dropped into this gorgeous café a few times during our current trip and have not been disappointed yet.The food is absolutely divine and the staff all very knowledgeable on the menu items. Fantastic array of local products... I truly didn't realise how many cheeses are produced locally.Drop by for the best mocha too!

Lovely place to stop for lunch or tea. Had a delicious vegan sandwich with hummus and veggies and a really good vegan lemon drizzle cake. Staff were great and really friendly. Would highly recommend.

Great food, their quiches are wonderful. Good coffee and soft drinks. The cheese counter is spectacular. There are very interesting idiosyncratic foods to purchase, we have had a late lunch there three times this week, eating outside once with the four dogs

We stopped here just for the cheese as it had been recommended by a friend. I am so glad we did. We sat outside and they brought out 3 very good selections on a cheese board. We had a nice cup of tee and enjoyed our conversation with the waitress. Be sure to stop at this nice little place if you are in the area.

They do a whole range of lunch options. I went for the smoked salmon sandwich and it was excellent. Portion sizes were large and the staff were very friendly. There was indoor and outdoor seating and fast, free WiFi. Recommend!

We stayed for lunch and then planned a day trip with their take away homemade sandwiches, local smoked salmon, cheeses, homemade quiches and yummy baked goods. Good quality food, nicely presented. Lovely little shop.

We have used this delicatessen on numerous occasions and were pleased to return here after a while away. We had delicious filled rolls in the cafe with good coffee and friendly service. On another occasion we purchased take-out filled rolls for a picnic and thoroughly enjoyed them. There are a variety of meat and vegetarian fillings and also some great cakes to follow. The cafe has a toilet and is clean and well maintained.

We visited this Cafe a few times during our stay in Ullapool. Sometimes just for a coffee and cake and sometimes for lunch. The coffee was perfect and the home baked bagettes/rolls very tasty as was the home made soup. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

We read good reviews about this place so thought we'd stop by, en route to catching the ferry to Lewis, and we weren't disappointed.

Popped in for a coffee and sandwich to take away with me before heading back to Inverness. Great selection of sub rolls (I recommend the venison) and the coffee was spot on. Double shot latte got me back home and tasted great. Highly recommended if you want a takeaway lunch that doesn’t involve going to Tesco.

Visited Ullapool midweek late October and went in here for coffees as there were more people in it than on the streets. Were lucky to get the only free table. We were only in for coffees but I couldn't resist a scone which came with cream and jam.

this review is based on our experience yesterday. We ordered sweet potato soup as it was a cold day. The soup was watery with not much evidence of any sweet potato in it.

Been a few times and never disappoints nice food easy going staff and good selection on offer. If your in tge area pop in you'll love it 😀

My dad is a local and took us here for coffee and to buy cheese for later in the day. They had a fabulous selection of cheese including nice local choices. The Bridies looked great too.

We had driven into Ullapool from Applecross and just wanted a coffee. Rather than stop into the very first place we came to, we walked up to the road behind the front and found this wonderful deli.

Found this fab place last year while on holiday in the area and returned this week when we stopped for lunch on our way further north. Delicious soup and bought cakes to takeaway. Lovely selection of deli items and cheese.

Top pasty! Luckily I arrived just after they’d come out of the oven. You can’t ask for more when you walk in wearing wet biking kit. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff.

Ho mangiato qui con la mia famiglia in una piovosa giornata di fine agosto. Il locale ha una bellissima atmosfera, personale giovane e cordiale. Adatto a bambini ( nonostante il piccolo bagno c’era pure un fasciatoio!)

Siamo entrati 10 minuti fa e abbiamo trovato questo posto molto raccolto e carino. Pochi tavoli, poiché il locale non è molto grande e il locale è parzialmente occupato dal bancone della gastronomia.

We called for morning coffee and were also delighted to find cakes that we could both eat. One of us is gluten free and the other dairy free and often find it very hard to get something in the cake line for us both to eat. We just want to say well done and thank you for providing for our intolerances.

Popped in purely to buy cheese, plenty to choose from and all keenly priced. Busy little place with people enjoying teas and coffees etc. Very friendly helpful young staff. Good selection of other bits and bobs.

Very good selection of Scottish cheeses - and the staff were knowledgeable about them. Looked to be doing great trade in coffee / cakes and clearly had happy returning customers. Not the biggest deli selection but what was there was good, clearly aimed at Scottish foods and priced where I would expect in a similar deli.

Lovely rolls. Filled to the gunnels. Highly recommend “The Rachel” New York style roll with pastrami. Soup was great too.

Stopped here for coffee and cake and were certainly not disappointed, it was lovely particularly the huge piece of flapjack, yum. Also bought food from the deli counter to take back to our caravan on the Beauly Firth for dinner and the staff kindly kept it in the fridge until we went force lovely walk with the dog and did some shopping. The quiche and Ullapool Bridie were delicious. Will definitely return.

Der Kaffee ist wirklich gut! Die Quiche war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich. Das Café liegt sehr schön in zweiter Reihe zum Hafen. Bei gutem Wetter kann man sehr schön draußen vor dem Café sitzen. Ansonsten gibt es auch in Café mehrere Tische. Gute Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Stopped here for lunch and had there tomato and pepper soup, which was very tasty and served with a nice roll. Good value to. Had a coffee and lemon curd and coconut cake, Young staff were very friendly and nice.

Stopped in for a cold drink after doing the hill walk in town. Nice selection of specialty food items and a decent menu board. Didn't notice obvious gluten free options, but also we weren't looking hard for them at the time.

We stopped in here for a cuppa when we got off the ferry. This is an earthy but tasteful spot with home baking, soup, sandwiches, and other delicious items. Good service with tables inside and out. I had an Americano and a scone with cream and jam the real thing. If we didn’t already have other plans for lunch, we definitely would have taken a sandwich with us from here. The scone was perfect and the coffee strong!

We usually head straight for here when we arrive back in Ullapool. It is a small, friendly deli with a limited range of indoor and outdoor tables. In season it can be hard to find one, but it is worth persevering. They serve home made soups, toasties and an interesting range of fresh deli sandwiches including an excellent vegan one. Coffee is also good here and service is extremely friendly. Aside from the cafe there is an excellent cheese counter and a limited range of other deli items for sale to take away.

We popped in for a takeaway quick bite before getting on a ferry. They had variety of plant milks to go with coffee. Their coffee btw is superb. Food choices they ve vegan sandwich on the menu and they will adjust everything else on the menu to suit vegan requirements. They also had lovely lemon drizzle cake while i was there which i snapped up along with hoummus veg sandwich. My omni partner was happy with the food choices and coffe and scoffled it up in no time. We also got some bread from them -home made quality. Fantastic place and amazing and friendly customer service. We will be back to ve leisurely meal i our way back.

This was a welcoming spot for lunch on a recent cold, wet, windy day in Ullapool. Excellent coffees and sandwiches and pastries, and very friendly service.

This delicatessen has a limited range of food items but they are delicious. We have been here on several past visits to Ullapool and returned this week for lunch. The lentil soup was delicious and the sandwich range included a vegan version. We asked them to modify a brie and ham sandwich so it was cheese and salad only and this was no problem at all. Sandwiches are served with crisps and you can order salad or potato salad or coleslaw on the side. Coffee is very good here too. The shop sells a range of interesting 'healthy' ingredients including cereals, coffees, teas, lentils, couscous etc etc plus a superb range of cheeses. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend it.

Visited here a couple of times during our week’s stay, very good coffee, lovely sandwiches and excellent tea cake loaf. Very friendly chap serving, would highly recommend.
