Clean, spacious, airy and a welcome respite from the hordes of tourists just outside. Basic, but in context a real treasure given the location.

I ordered a Libanese chicken wrap but got pieces of bread formed as triangles (?) on the side of the chicken and side salad. I don't know what happened there or if it was supposed to be that way. Nevertheless, the food was okay and reasonably priced. Roomy local with a wide assortment, so it should be easy to find something for everyone in a party.

We arrived for lunch. Having found a table we went to get our hot food and drinks. After choosing our lunch we had to go to the coffee counter to pay and joined a queue of people who were buying drinks as the other till was unmanned. By the time we paid for our food and got our hot drinks are meals were no longer hot. The manager on duty was telling off the staff within our hearing for not manning the coffee counter. We couldn't get a decaf tea and the manager was brusque and dismissive when asked where the cutlery was. Would think twice about going back.

I spotted this cafe from across the road while waiting for a tour to start, and thought I would visit after the tour. I as brought up as a Methodist and went to events in the Hall above when a student in London. I knew that it would be a clean and safe place, with clean toilets, and it was. You can get a coffee from just inside the entrance, and sit on tables outside. Downstairs is a large restaurant serving meals and snacks. I had a quiche with chips. This is a great find and I will eat there again when visiting London.

A big group of us arranged to go for afternoon tea / coffee and cakes. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We had a large table in an airy space. There was a good variety of cakes (including gluten free and vegan options). There were also scones with jam and cream and a selection of hot drinks. All very reasonably priced for London. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Yesterday I paid £6.15 for a coffee and a mince pie! At these extortionate prices how can normal people afford to eat and drink at a cafe that is supposed to be the welcoming community space for the Methodist Church in London? The prices are en par with Harrods and Fortnum's - it seems to me that the management are deliberately charging as much as possible as a disincentive for less wealthy parishioners to enjoy the church's facilities whilst trying to maximise profits from unsuspecting tourists, well good luck to them I won't be going back.

A 5 minute walk from Westminster Abbey, from the outside this venue doesn’t look promising. It’s just a few tables outside & a small counter inside. But don’t be deterred. Downstairs is a large, bright & comfortable café serving coffee, home made cakes, sandwiches as well as hot food Tuesday to Thursdays. Staff were friendly & the place was beautifully clean. We loved the apple cake & will certainly be back to eat lunch next time we’re in town.

They did not know anything about it. It was a surprise to see that latte with a heart shape design. Side note: A busy place like Westminster with lots of tourists it is hard to find a toilet. This facilty has a very well maintained free toilet. There is a donation box to help with projects that supports building sustainable toilets around the world! What an experience - A six course Latin American taster in a refurbished 1967 Victoria tube train that was amazing. From the unique environment to the authentic food made by the Head chef, Beatriz, who explained her inspiration and heritage for each of the dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented without the pretentious nonsense, layers of flavours and textures, which left you wanting more. Service by our waiter, Chris, also added to the overall experience too, which just made it even more special. Food and drinks flowed with ease throughout the evening, as lasted about 2.5 hours. Easy to get to and parking nearby was free after 6.30pm, so safe walking to and from in the dark.

I ordered fish and chips and a kebab portions were vast ,would have one fish and chips for two people . Curry sauce thick and gloopy, mushy peas ok. Had to construct kebab myself, pitta not cooked and dry foil container with meat salad in a plastic container and two tiny containers of chilli sauce and garlic sauce. They didn’t ask me what sauces I wanted or salad and just gave me it all in a bag even though I was standing there waiting for twenty minutes, so fish and chips good but vast , kebab dry and diy, I don’t live in London so was a bit surprised at £40 bill, I did order medium portions .
