Wenzel's in Hillingdon

Someone got the breakfast delivered from this place. It was all well packed and delivered way early than expected. Ordered 2 fresh croissants - they were delicious and very beautifully laminated. Loved the soft and crunchiness. The bougette was equally amazing. Everything was really fresh. And I highly recommend every bit of it. Veg slice - very well stuffed. It was soft and crispier at the same time. 4 jam donuts - I loveeeee these. These were the best ever thing I could end my breakfasy with. However there were 2 other desserts too - orange chocolate cake and raspberry white chocolate cake. Both were impeccable and irresistable. Loved every bit of it. Really recommend this place.

a lovely choice for breakfasts delivered at home! we have had various fresh baguettes over last few weeks all of which are freshly baked and v tasty! Nice loafs of bread too and tasty jam donuts! Well worth trying out! Stuart (Barnet, North London)

Went in last week to get a Viennese Finger but had to return it as all the chocolate had melted, turns out they they were kept on the top shelf under the lights! Went back today thinking that they would have moved them to ensure they don't melt and get spoiled, but alas, they are still on the top shelf and even the assistant said that she was sorry but they are all melted... why are they kept in direct heat, you know what they are made of! :(

Staff very rude and arrogant. Waited 20 minutes for a baguette. When I received it the girl just threw it on the counter and rolled her eyes when I asked her why it’s been so long preparing it .

they have a few outlets all over london. i when to the watford branch. this is good place grab a quick and fresh snack and drinks. service is good and fast.

I would just like to thank the staff of the Yiewsley branch for their wonderful customer service. I had a minor complaint and it was dealt with swiftly and professionally. Top marks for a great team. Love the food, keep going back for the service.

the eccles cakes are disgusting !! don't know what is in the filling but it could tarmac a road foul Need to get A RECIPE BOOK

Cannot fault this store and the staff! They are all lovely and well mannered, I’ve seen how well they manage difficult customers and always always give out the best service (and food!!!). Lovely and clean, I’m always there when the rush is on and they always provide the best service even when under pressure. Plus there is always such a large rang to choose from and are offered to have something made fresh if it’s not out. Highly recommend!!

Usually take a wrap. Their mini pizzas are usually nice, but sometimes they are really bad as if from overnight. Same with wraps, there have been times, when they would have just missed spreading the mayo or sauce in the wrap. They can do better and have some consistency.

Love the sourdough bread! Plus they do the best Viennese fingers! Staff are always friendly and service is quick.

I ordered from here today and had it delivered to my house. The price was good, the food was cooked to the specification asked and the ingredients to a pretty decent standard. Overall very happy with Wenzels. Great for breakfast menu.

Well today I went to wenzels in Pinner for the first time in forever for a chocolate choux bun (I don't live near a wenzels anymore). In fact I've been dreaming of this cake for the past two days (yeah I need to get out more). So imagine my surprise when they didn't have them and when I asked the assistant she said "yeah they're out of season" when she saw the puzzled look on my face she added "we swapped them for strawberry tarts but don't worry it will be winter soon and they'll be back" really?? Come on Wenzels, Chocolate Choux Buns are for life not just for Christmas.......

Wenzl's is an institution in NW London and is everyone's favourite. It's great to find a local bread shop that does such a great selection of filled rolls, salads and snacks. The staff are always friendly and helpful and willing to make something fresh to order. Much better than Greggs!

Wenzels solía ser genial, especialmente el pan, ahora es barato y desagradable. He vuelto dos panes en las últimas tres semanas porque el pan estaba rancio. Sospecho que son pan sin vender helada y volver a colocarlo en los estantes el día siguiente. Mi madre compró un pan recientemente y todavía estaba muy frío en el centro.

A wonderful display of all kinds of choices to make to have for lunch. Their breads are delicious, lots of choices too in that dept.

Lo de la Rama uxbridge en los pabellones del centro es que es un poco adictivo. Mejor pan de grano, bloomer multi o lo que sea, son todos un gran sabor y textura tienen buena y corteza. Tiendo a comprar la comida de buena relación calidad-precio con ofertas y sándwiches de jamón ensalada de grano multi o bacon sandwich tostado, no (mantequilla, pan de grano multi). Los dos son igualmente maravilloso. El personal es eficiente y agradable. Vale la pena ir.

Went to Wenzels in Bushey Heath, i bought a ham and cheese wrap and asked for it to be toasted, waited while the girl behind served 6 other people, then reminded her she hadnt given me my wrap, then 20 mins after order when i recieved it it was burnt, no apology from the staff member she just handed it to me without a word. Useless.

Always stop to grab a sandwich in this great bakers, which they had a shop near me. Really good choice...

La primera vez que comer carne pastie jamaicana. Ahora tengo un deseo de buscar comida jamaicana qué delicia. Otros bocadillos de compra eran igual de sabroso

If you hate Gregs and think Simmons is mediocre and over priced, you will love Wenzels.Hands down the best bakery I have ever been to, and the only bakery where the food and pasties are as good as they look.

Some of the food on display is touched and picked over by customers - very unhygienic. If visited again I would only choose items from behind the counter or pre wrapped.

Go here often on Friday morning for my bacon roll. Always very friendly in there however service can be a little slow - can take a while to acknowledge your standing there but they are busy. Could do with a bigger store as always heaving at lunch times.

Basic but brilliant! I know it's not authentic, and really it's fresh bread products, but I love the fact you can walk in and have a fresh sandwich or baguette made for you, how you like it. Simple and effective, and no where near as pricey as some of the eat in establishments. And the cakes are huge for the price they are, and the meal deal is a favourite with many people I work with. It's a great, fresh bakery and much better than say other high street pastry + bread shops. Only downside is my carb intake has spiked since finding Wenzel's but hey ho - it's great snack food made how you like it :)

I've come here off and on for lunch for a few years now and in all its ok. I find it at times a little pricey but the foods generally ok as is the service provided.

Just missed my train so thought I would get a snack for the journey . Brown bread no taste no butter cucumber slimy and tomato old plus no chicken just mayo whoever made it should be ashamed

This is what bread should taste like - although I would like to see more varieties of brown bread. Staff are friendly and always smiling, and the baguettes are amazing

This review is for the branch in south harrow , unhelpful staff and very rude I live in south harrow , I went to buy many times bread or breakfast there but staff seemed that they don't want you inside , my server usually is a guy that every day is there but seemed that feels tired of the place !!!!!

Every thing is so nice and delicious. The muffins are just right and the fairy cake's icing is just perfect. We go there every now and then to have a quick roll and a cookie or something and are always satisfied. The staff there are very nice.I would recommend this to anybody.

I was packing to fly home and just wanted something a bit sticky and sweet until I got to the airport, where I'd eat. I had to get there early as there'd been the NATS air traffic control breakdown at the weekend.So I popped in here. It looked alright from the outside and I grabbed a couple of Eccles Cakes. I glanced at the sandwich display and noticed that the turkey and stuffing sandwiches seemed to have more stuffing than turkey and a warning bell started off.Well, when I got back to the room, I unwrapped a horror. I bit into thick pastry, far too thick, to find some sort of dried glob tasting vaguely of nutmeg inside. Utterly disgusting, foul. Eccles Cakes should have dried fruit and spices softened with butter - there wasn't a hint of fruit here.I threw the lot in the bin. Over a pound wasted.My mood (and hunger) can only be imagined until I got to the airport and could at least get some food there.
