Large store. It has an escalator ramp to get in. It is on the first floor. There is a coffee shop which also sells food. It is clean and tidy, and the staff are helpful. It also has a big car park

It would be nice if ASDA would finally do something about the changing rooms. I have to buy multiple clothes for multiple sizes, then bring it home and bring back which are not good, for a refund. How much easier would it be to try it there and just buy the right ones

DONT get a coffee here. The girl was rude, incompetent and unhelpful. We ordered a meal deal and was told that we could not have chips or salad as advertised, only crisps. The tostie never arrived and she had the cheek to say we never ordered it. The coffee was like old dishwasher and I even purchased a ketchup for 35p. Why would you ask about the sides that come with the tostie and purchase ketchup if you were NOT GOING TO GET THE TOSTIE. Perhaps we should have paid extra for her to interact with us and more for a smile and more to get her off her phone.

Absolutely high quality of customer service at this store. Staff are helpful and ensure you have a great experience. Although we’ve always had a great experience one lady did stand out for her outstanding assistance at checkout her name is Mallika. We are regular shoppers at this store and mainly because of the customer service experience and she’s definitely one of the staff members who has demonstrated this . She ensured we reaped the benefits of installing the Asda app she assisted us on how to get started and she also assisted us with some items we needed more help on. Brilliant store well managed and the staff make this store shine amongst the rest.

Oh my god…this store is pathetic. Apart from 4 or 5 decent staff the rest are a disgrace. Disinterested, rude, and lacking in common sense. I could carry on for ages with everything that’s wrong in this store. The management are a disgrace and their attitude amazes me (not in a good way). If I could give a Zero I would have. I’d welcome the opportunity to sit down with the management for a chat but I doubt they would entertain this. I wonder why!!!

We have dine shopping here for about 3 years, the price over this period have increased a lot, quile the quality if the product hasn't at all. We have stopped buying meat and fish from here for several reasons, first they are made in one place, shipped to anothe to be packed and then shipped again, also once cooked they srink, becaming the half of it. Vegetables and fruit also are a bad quality, they don't last more then a week in the fridge and taste like nothing. Now we are sourcing our food somewhere else

I have been a customer at Asda South Ruislip for almost 4 years. We live locally and it’s one of the most convenient stores for us (although not our favourite - due to its staff). The behaviour and attitude of some of the staffs here have been very unpleasant and there was a period of time we quit Asda ( for almost a year) only because of these behaviours. On the other hand I must say some colleagues are very professional, supportive and pleasant. I believe this is the team leaders or the assistant managers who often are very rude to customers. (On many occasions I felt I must record and post on social media to show how the staff at Asda South Ruislip treat its customers, but thanks to GDPR ). They treat customers as if we are getting the items from the store for free. We spend our time , money and energy to do shopping and when we see the quality of the products are not upto the expectations, we have the right to return and get refund for it. Today (08.12.23) I been to store to return some rotten avocados that I bought form South Ruislip store , 2 days ago. But the manager on duty ( I heard her name as Sra) was very rude to me and refused to replace and refund saying I didn’t have the receipt. She also showed me that the item was expired yesterday, I asked her to show me the date of expiry on the package, she showed me some figures showing L7 ( who on earth will know this is the expiry date of a product, unless you are associated with retail stores). This lady didn’t even bother to check what was the issue with the product. There was some insects bites which damaged one of the fruits. She shouldn’t have even argued over the receipt or the expiry date , had she had the manners and professionalism to explore the issue further. It was also an insult for me as she was speaking in-front of other customers and her look and attitude was like I was trying to get something for free under her mercy.. RIDICULOUS.. I have many of my friends stopped shopping at Asda due to the bad treatment they get or they evidence from some of the staffs in South Ruislip store. If they do not change the behaviour the company will lose many more loyal customers. After all we don’t have be treated like this by after paying for a product and service. What’s the relevance of Asda’s ‘guarantee 100% customer satisfaction on their product’ ?

This is a large store, opened on 22nd May 2017. It's just 75 metres away from an Aldi store that opened a few months earlier. The car park is large and on the ground floor, but it is shared with the onsite multiplex cinema and restaurants. On weekends the car park becomes full to the brim. Management of the car park appears to be in the hands of another firm. There seems to be an inordinate amount of disabled and electric vehicle bays here which seem to be vacant in the evening. But if you unwittingly park in these bays thinking it's late and no one would mind if you park in those bays, you will be sorry. There is some guy lurking around or monitoring via CCTV to hit you with a £100 ticket within 5 minutes. Since a MacDonald's restaurant opened a few months ago, the car park has become a dumping ground for brown paper bags, cups and various MacDonald's paraphernalia. It won't be long before we see half-eaten burgers and chips lying around, attracting birds, rats and foxes, and the inevitable fox and bird poo that follow. It's becoming a rather unwelcoming place. In the last 12 months I have only seen two EVs plugged into the charger. To add to the mix of landmines in this car park, there are also Brown Badge bays and Parent & Child bays. Brown Badge is a Hillingdon Council scheme for their over-65 residents. Having invested much money on EV charging bays, and only one or two cars ever using the chargers, I think they can't be making any money from them--maybe in 20 years' time they might. So watch out, the businesses here are grateful for your custom and will reward you with a parking ticket for £100 for the slightest slip up. On a recent visit (27/10/2020), I noticed that a whole section of EV bays have been decommissioned, with stickers stating that the charger doesn't work, but it doesn't say if anyone could now park there. Why? So beware, you could end up with a £100 ticket. There is a clothing section along with many other sections one usually expects to see in a large store, plus an opticians. There is a petrol station just before you enter the car park. This is a card-only operation as there is no payment kiosk. Frequently the machine runs out of paper and will not print out a receipt--annoying! Recently they upgraded the pumps to enable contactless payments. However, at times the machine now takes 2 or 3 minutes to update and produce a receipt. The price of fuel here is only about 0.2p cheaper than the Sainsbury's petrol station, which is about 450 metres away on the same road. Price-wise this store will have stiff competition from the Aldi store which is just metres away--although Aldi's range is much smaller. There is a B&M store here too, which is very competitive on many items. There is also a Lidl store not too far away, on Victoria Road. I wouldn't buy blueberries; they are frequently found to be soft and soggy. The same applies to a lesser extent, to grapes. It's risky buying avocados here; the chance of the fruit being rotten is over 50%.

DID NOT HAVE ANY FOOD - APART FROM CAKES!!! Saturday morning, fancied a breakfast. Saw cafe sign in Asda and thought why not. Looked at menu and only coffees, teas, cakes and panini and toasties. OK thought I’ll have a panini, nope, haven’t got any. OK so how about a toastie, nope haven’t got any. Ended up with 2 ultra thin toasts, 2 small pads of butter and 2 small packs of strawberry jam (only that or raspberry - no marmalade or anything else). What a total let down. When I tried to scan my Asda card I was told, “No, we’re a different company” What are they trying to do to the shoppers at South Ruislip?

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local ASDA supermarket, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I entered the store, it was evident that customer service was a top priority. The great service I received started with a friendly greeting from the staff at the entrance. They were more than willing to assist with any questions or directions I needed, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Throughout my shopping trip, I noticed that the aisles were clean and well-organized, making it easy to find the items on my list. The store layout was intuitive, and I appreciated the clear signage that helped me navigate. One of the standout features of this ASDA store was the fantastic range of products available. Whether you're looking for fresh produce, pantry staples, household items, or specialty products, they had it all. The variety was impressive, and I was able to find everything I needed in one place. I particularly appreciated the quality of their fresh produce and the extensive selection of international foods. What truly made my visit memorable was the staff members' exceptional attitude and willingness to assist customers. The employees were not only knowledgeable about the products but also approachable and ready to lend a helping hand. Their dedication to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction I had. In conclusion, my visit to my local ASDA supermarket was a delightful experience. The great service, wide range of products, and friendly staff members made it a truly enjoyable shopping trip. I left the store feeling satisfied and with a cart full of high-quality items. Without a doubt, I will be returning to ASDA for my future grocery needs, knowing that I can count on them for a pleasant and convenient shopping experience.

Terrible experiance, I went to the self checkout service, a woman rudely told me to go round the other side. I said okay went all the way round. She then approached me again and told me rudely again to move with no explaination. At this point I said no I do want to move my shopping as I had started scanning my food. She then grabbed my basket barged past me and threw it down at another self check out. Security came over and I was trying to explain what had happened she just shouted in front of everyone wouldn't even let me finish my sentance. I asked to see the manager who did not help much at all. The manager had a word with her and she continued glaring at me and waving at me to leave. I usually go to Waitrose or Sainsbury's but I visited Asda for the first time as they had a garden ornament that I'd admired in a friend's garden. What a surprise! Elmlea cream 80p, £1.20 in S'bury's; chocolate pouches (various) 99p, £1.50 in S'bury's... and SO many more bargains on everyday stuff. Their ribeye steak is amazing at only £4, a litre of named whisky £15. 95... so many savings. I've gone back a few times now and I'm still impressed. I don't buy everything there but I'm using it more and more. PS people who give one star because of the petrol station are being very unfair on this store, who have incredibly friendly staff, too!

Absolutely shocking on a weekend honestly. Today was chaos, even with a line outside there were far too many customers in store it was like a concert! My coworker's son works there so I asked them about it, their son told them they recently increased the max number allowed in store from 200 to over 500 because of customer complaints... disgraceful. Management really care so much about money and the stores image they completely throw out all safety for not just us customers but staff too! One young lad was trapped down an aisle blocked behind a cage because there was that many customers down there! Two words. GLOBAL. PANDEMIC. I know people who have died from this awful disease, I have friends that work in the NHS. This is very real, and very dangerous, take it seriously, are management even human at this place? What am I saying it's retail of course not. Do yourself a favour, if you have to go shopping on a weekend, stay away from this place.

Would give 4 stars as great choice of groceries etc but consistently find so many customers not wearing masks so a poor shopping experience . Came across a group of two families with six members in total of which only one was wearing a mask. They can't all be exempt but the staff do not get involved at all even if asked to do so. Note to Asda Management , you have an obligation to look after the safety of ALL the shoppers and although I understand that you do not wish to police this problem, your security staff should remind customers a) to not meet up in groups- this is indoors and b) wear a mask if possible, unless the person says that he/she is exempt. If your staff are too scared for confrontations then please announce this over a tannoy. It would then save your other law-abiding, socially distanced customers feel safer. To ignore it completely is not acceptable as you also have a duty of care to make the premises safe for all customers and your staff.

the deliverey was bad they had the wrong subs like crisps insted of onions thats not right and thats what i want to complain about in this review .the supermarket is ok with a lift 4 the disabled people x2,opticians,extremley clean toilets ,and handily labled asiles with fun escolators and a big supermarket with a george cllick and collect which often seems bad.there are more things that are good like handy near a 24/7 gy and a24/7 park.an aqua todstall area, franlkie and bennys which i had the most delicious brekie ever and chiquito which is a lack of service but scrumptious food, cineworld cinemas with a starbucks, ben n jerrys and baskin robbins with loads of drinks to keep you going and popcorn.a tango ice blast maciene is also good but sometimes out of use with 11 screens . nandos a portugeese restraunt with unlimited fizzy drinks and yoghurts and even a free ice cream in the summer .franlkie and bennys is good with all their deliverey services and cloick and collect .nandos need to do better with their delivereies which is catchment areas only .but there is a lack of charge points im estimating arround 50 plug in points and only 4 work which is bad.thats not what you expect at a charge point is it. apparentley chiquito will start a click and collect soon. an overflow car park is excellent and a decent petrol station.if you were disabled and you needed to go into the main asda which is a long time to travel to asda.just for 1 problem.they need to have a lost propertey box because i was looking for ages for my wallet.electric car charging bays need to be marked saying elecric cars only because so many are pARKING AND NOT CHARGING UP WHICH I THINK IS DREADFUL.THEY COULD GET GEORGE CLOTHING OR FIT BITS ON THE CLICK AND COLLECT.THE CUSTOMER SERVICE POINT THEY USE TEENAGERS WHO ARE LAZY TO WORK THERE.THEY ALSO HAVE PHOTO BOOTH AND COINSTAR IN STORE WHICH IS GREAT.SAD THAT FRANKIE AND BENNYS AND CHIQUITO ARE CLOSED

Nothing is perfect but this Asda is better than any other Asda like east London, north-ish London, south London. So hope that manager and everyone will at least keep it like this or become the best outstanding example and improve a little. Tesco says every little helps"!

The very rude lady from bakery... i asked her who can slice my bread and she was looking at me in such a bad way like i was disturbing her. When i realised that she was touching my bread without wearing gloves i ask her to wear some gloves. She then told me that all of them have gloves... she just lied me, she didn't put any gloves after my discussion with her. At the end i told her "you must wear gloves, you are touching my bread and i am eating that bread".Is the shortest women who is serving at the bakery and i hope the manager will do something in a good way. And this happened today, 17th August 2020, in the coronavirus pandemic. Shame on her. She left the bakery after this episode and i was feeling disgusted by her attitude.

Good products variety including clothing section (women have the advantage here though), Halal section and counter, currency exchange available, specs shop and a restaurant (still closed over the outbreak). Only down side in my opinion is that there's no ATM machines on site.

James Winder the security guard there is a real credit to the store, always happy, friendly and willing to say a few words to an unknown customer. This was demonstrated more so today when I dropped my wallet (unknown to me ) raced back an hour later and he had retrieved it from the floor as someone was about to get it and took the time to try and contact me on facebook, what a guy, just wish I needed a security guy in my business I would employ him in a shot Thank you James and Asda for an incredible service

The supervisor lady with the big hair at the tills was eating a sandwich and tried to tell me to go to the self service instead and had her mouth full and spat bits of sandwich in my face. If I choose to go to a till it is up to me I shouldn't be ordered around by rude staff with her mouth full! This was during the peak of coronavirus! Disgraceful!

This used to be a good store. After not being here for a good while I came in during the afternoon to pickup a few bits. As soon as I saw the bins at the main entrance completely overflowing at around 3pm I could see the store wasn’t the same. Coming up the travellator it was full of debris. An automatic bad impression especially during covid 19 when you’d think there’d be more focus on keeping things clean. The state of the shelves and damaged packaging wasn’t nice to see as a customer. One good point is the asda staff are quite helpful and know where the products are.

Have had as many as 10 separate issues with the service station here. There have been times when I cannot get a receipt or it won't take my credit card, like today. So even though I had just been in Asda Supermarket and used my credit card and yet, could not use it at the petrol station. I tried twice so left without petrol and filled up elsewhere. There is no way of contacting anyone. The annoying point in this is that Asda are going to lay of thousands of staff and yet, at the moment they have petrol stations totally without assistance. You can't do that! Computers will always go wrong. Asda are not customer focussed and I have heard about their bully boy tactics with their suppliers.

Unlike other supermarkets I've been to, all the staff are always in a good mood and friendly. Love that it has electric vehicle charging in the car park too, although only a handful out of the many there seem to work!

Lunchtime today shared a nice Thai meal with a friend with couple of ice cold beers served by a lovely barman called Andy. He was very friendly and most welcoming for first time visitors. I will visit again once they reopen after their refurb. He said it was most likely to take 6 weeks, so already starting counting days from Sunday 16th January 2022.!

Wednesday 23rd August and we were travelling with British Airways, from Terminal 5 Heathrow to Dublin. As we arrived at the Airport a bit before check-in opened we decided to have a coffee here. Having been in this Terminal before, we knew that it was located on the ground floor within the Arrivals area. Thought it was best to find a place to sit, in the rather sprawling seating area, before one of us proceed to the counter to order our coffees. Although the service areas were clearly marked, with overhead signs, Till 1, 2, 3 etc. It was a bit unclear as to which serving areas were operational, customers seemed to be wandering from place to place in the hope of getting some service A guy took my order, I oredered and paid for two flat whites, which were £3.45 each, he wandered off down the far end of the counter, did not realise that another member of staff at another section was preparing the coffees. Maybe a but snobbish when it comes to drinking coffee, I prefer to drink from an actual ceramic cup, rather than a paper take away cup, especially when drinking on the premises. The coffee could have done with another shot of coffee, it was rather flavourless, too hot to drink, just like over heated milk, had to wait for it to cool down.

Good visit to this food outlet set up as a pub. We needed to have a small bite to eat before our long haul flight to Bangkok. We found they did small plates so had lamb kofta and tandoori chicken- lovely- found the staff were so friendly even though it was busy. 10 out of for their service and smiles. I know it’s Heathrow but it was a lovely experience and well worth a visit if you’re using Terminal 2. The rest of the menu looked good as well.

This is an average place. The dishes are a bit hit and miss. Some are good, others range between average to dire. The staff are nice but a little too attentive. There's next to'no' reason for me to go back.

El Dr. O'Driscolls ofrece buena comida de pub, una buena pinta a un precio razonable. Es especialmente bueno si te gusta ver fútbol en las pantallas del pub.
