Used this Beefeater for several years now closing. Never received my birthday meal. My son who also has a loyalty card has received 50% off because of closure I have received NOTHING. How's this for loyalty

Disappointing.. we booked for breakfast for 10.45am not realising that they were closing the service at 11… by the time we put on some breakfast for the kids and ourselves the coffee machine was switched off and we couldn’t even get coffee. When I asked staff about the coffee their replied was „Oh well..” which is appalling! Not to mention that the pastry baskets were bare empty when we arrived before 10.45am. When I complained about the lack of pastries the manager on shift told me they put the last batch out at 10.30 and no more after that as they go to waste. But surely if they have bookings for 10.45 (we were not the only group arriving at that time), they should ensure there is enough supplies available, particularly when baskets are empty? I feel very disappointed as we paid full price for the full breakfast and couldn’t get things that were supposed to be there, not even coffee! We won’t be going back…

We stayed in the Premier Inn and used the Beefeater for an evening meal and breakfast on the two mornings. The food was ok, but unfortunately took a long time to come out despite only a handful of tables being served. The server scarpered without asking if we wanted any sauces or if everything was ok and no-one came to check during our meal. We had a hunt around and managed to find the sauces they have for breakfast, left next to some stale croissants. The facilities were really disappointing, 3 toilets in the ladies 2 of those without toilet roll dispensers and without tissue on all occasions using them.

So a party of 4, we ordered 4 different meals. I ordered a Mixed Grill. The other 3 meals came up followed by my MG. I sent it back straighaway. It was cold!!! By the time my party had finished their dinners, I was still waiting. So I cancelled after a further 10 mins had passed. I have had the same meal in Bracknell and Cardiff recently and really enjoyed it. Won't be going back to this one anytime soon.

Lovely waitress under a lot of pressure due to no other staff waiting on. People left waiting to be served. Felt so sorry for her you should support your staff with better working conditions. She deserves better running your business with no resources and presumably low pay.

We went to this beefeater when we stayed at the Premier before a flight from Heathrow. They were really having their problems on that day. The lager pumps weren't working properly when we arrived but were fixed later in the evening. In particular Candi was brilliant she was running around trying to help everybody, there was a mistake with our food order and she couldn't be more apologetic. She let us have a free round of drinks for the mistake. She was very polite and professional credit to the company

The food when it actually arrived was OK. Don't visit if you're in a hurry! The mixed grill arrived incomplete! The food sat under the heater lamps for a while. The staff are doing their best but obviously under staffed. If you want a roast on a Sunday beware they run out!

I had been here before but this time I was veey dissapointed cause the fish was not covered properly in the batter and all the oil was filled in the fish the staff was helpful they got me another piece cooked it was same again. The thicker chips were cold from inside . I started coughing later may be cause of oil was clean or not. The rocket which was given to us with chicken n chips was not fresh at all so we could not consune it.

Kacy was very polite and right in the beginning informed us of longer wait for orders but overall experience was very average. Daughters steak was nice but my chicken although cooked inside it didn't look outside, basically very bland, definitely not chargrilled kind. ribs were fine but not necessarily the freshest. Probably our last visit unless desperate for food with no alternatives. Not the worst experience but plenty of better places to choose from in the area.

be prepared for a long wait .The staff are stressed as they can't cope .Not sure if they need more staff or if their system is broken i've been there 3 times over the space of a year each time hoping they would have tweaked things to something like normal....To be honest, its chaos there. Won't be going again which is a shame as it is local. I have seen some reviews saying the same thing .Shame head office can't be bothered to sort it out as the food is good .Unless you've got loads of time to kill,don't bother

I visited the beefeater today! And the food was amazing the amazing Kacy cooked my food wonderfully and our wonderful waiter Michelle she seated us straight away and took our order, the food came within 10 mins and was amazing! No complaints what so ever even went in for dessert must say I am very pleased and would deffo recommend to my family and friends. Thank you so much girls :)

Went at a weekend. It is very popular near to Uxbridge town centre,however, I believe they were short staffed. Waiting time to be served. The manager seemed to be running between greeting customers & preparing desserts. Others nearby complained of cold food & lengthy delays. Our meals were tasty & hot.

What a ****show - Booked a table tonight for two, and when I arrived a flustered person eventually arrived to book us in, telling us they were really busy and could we come back later, even though we had a booking - All I wanted was a nice steak - Every time I have been here, about 8 times in the last year, there is always a problem, either not enough staff and you wait ages, they have run out of steaks (yes, from a restaurant calling itself a Beefeater thats a joke) or something else - In short, never a good experience. As we were hungry, but really fancied a steak me and my pal went into Uxbridge where we discovered a great restaurant called Martins in WIndsor Street - Had the best steak in there tonight, delightful service, even though they were pretty booked up and we had arrived unannounced, and to top it all, the total cost was lower than I would have paid in the Beefeater ! What a win - From disaster to total victory in one evening.

It happened on Sunday,24th of March 2024 around 10am.There are two white guys in front of us and the staff let them and ask to pay and given a table.Then me and my friend (Asians) were left there waiting for 15 min.While waiting another white couple queued behind us then followed by another couple (of colour) then the staff member came only to tell us we wont accept your without booking because "we are fully booked "though I see plenty of available spaces.The white couple were let in,and us and the couple (of colour) were not let in.How come the two white guys who arrived at the same time were let it without booking.And we were left there 15 minutes just to be told we dont have a booking.Check your CCTV on the exact date and time,I am explaining here.Thank you.

I visited the Beefeater restaurant in Uxbridge on Sunday, March 17, 2024, hoping for a delightful evening with delicious food. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite waiting an extended period for our food, when it finally arrived, it was a disappointment. The chips were passable, but the chicken and pork ribs lacked flavor and were quite unappetizing. As for the starter, I ordered bread with butter, only to receive two slices of basic bread that one could easily purchase from a discount store, accompanied by a smear of butter. This level of quality is nothing short of disgraceful. The poor service further compounded the disappointment, and I was left feeling distraught by the entire experience. It was a complete waste of money, and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

We visited the Beefeater Uxbridge, Riverside restaurant on Monday 11th March 2024 for lunch. We hadn't been to a Beefeater for some years but decided to try it as we were staying in the Premier Inn next door. We had the 2 course lunch menu and I have to say, were extremely pleasantly surprised, not just by the great value for money, but by the high quality and tastiness of the food and the fab service we received from Jennie, who couldn't have done enough for us! She was extremely attentive, friendly but appropriately professional and very efficient and made us feel very relaxed and unhurried. We would most definitely eat in that particular Beefeater again when we are next in the area, even if we don't happen to be staying in the Premier Inn. Highly recommended!

Very bad experience. We arrived, and were seated at a table straightaway which was welcoming. However, we waited 15 mins just to order drinks and a further 30 mins before we got them. The drinks came in cold bottles however the glasses given to us were hot straight out of the dishwasher. We had ordered our food when we ordered the drinks and we were then told that they didn’t have the half chicken- which is what most of our party came for. So we resorted to lamb, and some grilled chicken breasts instead of the half chicken that we wanted. We waited over another 1hour before the food came and then we all really regretted even going there. The potatoes were overdone- clearly reheated from the freezer way too much. Some spuds were even black inside. The chicken breasts were dry and burnt. The gravy was lumpy with a horrible taste and the corn on the cob was a miniature slice of corn burnt black on both ends. I overheard the table next to us requesting fresh food to be remade as they were not happy with their food either. The pizza was not even up to the standard of a £1 frozen pizza from Tesco, rubbery and like plastic to chew. The only thing that was done well were the chicken wings starter. The desert came, the plain vanilla ice cream was ok, however the apple crumble was bitter and the custard was cold. Only 2 out of the 5 of us had the food. I honestly am shocked at the quality of the food and I will definitely not be going back and neither will any of our friends/relatives. We asked for the bill- which came up to over £100 and the waitress said she overcharged us by accident so she deducted the money off the bill. Absolutely shocked at our experience here. I hate to have to put it this way but I Would not recommend to anyone EVER.

I was disappointed I chose fish and chips in a steakhouse it was 85% batter and way too crisp and felt like a masterclass in hiding a tiny piece of fish inside a chunk of batter. Very poor meal and poor value. Perhaps my own fault for choosing a non meat meal in a beefeater.

I would seriously avoid this place. After being reluctantly shown to a table, I was left waiting for over 20 mins. Who knows how long it would have been if I hadn't given up and walked out. Obviously can't comment on the food as I didn't get served any, but from many of the comments here it's probably not a bad thing.

I am here in business, the restaurant was rammed and staff were rushed off their feet the whole night. Michelle held it together amazingly with the help of the team and always had a smile on her face. It is clear that there aren't enough staff to cater for the restaurant but the staff that were here were incredible and are a real asset to the chain. Excellent service by Casey, incredibly kind and efficient server. The staff were friendly and asides from a few minor errors with our starter order (mushrooms arrived 10 minutes late), everything else was on time. The family enjoyed our time, my meal (prawn skewers) was a tad bland, but otherwise everyone enjoyed thier food! As a family friendly venue, there were a few loud children around but otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant. I didn't catch the bar tenders name but she was very kind and accommodating!

Having booked a table for 7pm ,my two elderly aunts had travel up from march in Cambridgeshire and I myself had been working a rushed around for the 7pm meal. Upon arrival we checked in at the restaurant informing them we had a 7pm reservation to be told sorry we only have two members of staff in the kitchen and we. are at least an hour and two hours behind before you get food.I complained and he said well that's it. Very poor service, had we walked in off the street then I might have excepted this but to book unacceptable without any prior notification.

What can I say!!!! We went to the Uxbridge Beefeater today as we had a friend staying with us and it was his last evening with us for quite some time, so an important night for us. On walking in for our booked table, we all stood waiting ages to be seated. We were then taken to a table set up for 4 instead of 5 of us. Then we explained that our little girl has type 1 diabetes, so she is insulin dependent for her food and explained that we don't care about anyone else's meal in our party but would need to give our girl her insulin and then she has to eat 15 mins later so can we plan everything around that. We explained this to 2 people working there, the person who seated us and the girl taking our order. The young lady who served us tried really hard but looked like she was on her first evening there and just got dumped to get on with it. The young girl gave us the go ahead to give our daughter her insulin and we started her timer. Finally the starter of our daughters meal turned up and she began eating. We went and politely asked if we can have the rest of our daughters meal which was some veg sticks, popcorn chicken and a few chips the lady explained to one of the chefs who seemed to acknowledge this but still 20 minutes later and our daughters body blood glucose dropping like a stone we were still waiting and getting so stressed and scared. We explained over and again that we were not looking for any priority for our meals, we do not ever do that. The staff and chefs looked totally uninterested in where they were working, to be honest. Finally we got our daughters food, thank god and her blood glucose started to recover. The rest of us were so stressed by then. The rest of our meals arrived finally and were all cooked incorrectly but we just wanted to leave this absolutely terrible ghastly place. My other daughter asked for a medium rare steak but unfortunately got a very overcooked excuse for steak and her whole meal was very hard. Our whole evening there was a joke. Our friend ordered a plain burger with just cheese in and nothing else but he got a burger with loads of mayonnaise & bacon. Overall the service, meals and attitude were so so upsetting. No one really cared, it was so horrible and we will never recommend this place or waste our money there ever again. Awful experience!!!

Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely lady called Michelle. She went out of her way to make sure our party felt comfortable and had everything we needed. I had the beef pie and my partner had the chicken and ribs. Towards to the end of the meal we was introduced to the restaurant manager Kacy who was enthusiastic and made sure we were all happy. 100% visiting again!!

Than once approached by staff refused to serve food “shortage of staff” asked to have drinks “refused to serve drink” clearly no manners or customer service. If there is shortage of staff than escalate with management team and don’t take it out on customers! Rude members of staff with no customer service manners!

My family and I visited the beefeater in Uxbridge on New Year's Day afternoon. Admittedly we were a large party and the logistics to get our dinners on the table together must have been difficult, but the food generally wasn't very good. My mixed grill was overcooked, as was my wife's chicken, and the chips on my mums plate were cold. The young man serving done a good job and was very helpful. When it came to paying we had to work out the bill split ourselves, which caused some confusion. We weren't given the choice to order separately. As for the customer toilets, they were in an awful condition, which was reported to a staff member. So to recap, the food gets two stars, the service gets three, and the atmosphere gets three. Overall, three stars. The rating is for this visit, judged on my experience.

Beefeater is definitely going downhill. Used to use The Orchard in Ruislip but that has now closed so went to Uxbridge instead. Service was okay but they were clearly tired. Ine plate of food was cold when delivered and was sent back. Waited over 20 min for that to be replaced by which time everyone else had finished. Meal was at least hot but chips weren't cooked and worst prawns I have ever had. They did take the cost of that meal off the bill but personally, I won't use Beefeater again. If you do, avoid the prawns...

Ate here for Christmas Eve dinner. I got the beef lasagne it was so delicious. The cheese topped it off I think. Garlic flatbread was lovely too. I got a brownie for dessert which was delicious. Resturant premises are attractive. Staff okay. Cooked breakfast very poor. We attended about 9.30am. All breakfast items lined up under heat lamps. Solid rubber eggs. Cold bacon. Tepid sausages. Conjealed beans. etc. We previously used Ruislip branch on a weekly basis until its recent closure, where everything was cooked to order and was most enjoyable. Shall not be returning here. Completely different experience.

Unfortunately service has gone down over the last couple of years which is a shame as the food is still pretty good. I know a lot of places are struggling with staffing issues. If you come don't expect doting table service, but do expect to wait a while for your food.

Tried this Beefeater Uxbridge for the first time now that the one in Ruislip has closed. Just like Ruislip, the Uxbridge branch is woefully understaffed. It was 7 p.m. and the restaurant was half full of customers, which just kept coming. Two serving staff and one Duty Manager, three Chefs. Used glasses and plates were overflowing on tables, and the one serving staff we had was literally running around. We had the Christmas Special Meal, and this was OK, nothing special, but for the price, it was acceptable. Getting the final bill was a challenge for most customers who had to come to the ordering station when they spotted the server there and then managed to get and pay their bill. We did likewise. This Beefeater is alongside a Premier Inn, as was Ruislip, so it needs to be correctly staffed, or this may go the same way as the other closure. We will try it again into the New Year to see if it is any better. The jury is out at present.

It was an absolute shocking experience. Waited over 1h 30 minutes for food to be tod they had ran out of some stuff. We had to wait 45mins just to get a drink so went to the bar ourselves to get drinks. The manager was in the kitchen cooking with no hair net or chef whites on. Saw one of the chef's using their teeth to open a packet of pate. Would never go back

I want to preface this by saying I am very easily pleased when it comes to restaurants/food and rarely ever complain. However, I had one of the worst dining experiences in a long time here a couple of days ago due to 'Candy' the waitress who was incredibly rude and clearly did not want to be there. Her attitude was appalling and she treated my colleague and I like we were both a complete nuisance since the moment we sat down. We had done nothing unordinary and was extremely patient and polite with her. Candy's attention had been turned when she caught sight of an attractive man who came in who she immediately started flirting with and touching! She was laughing like she had heard the funniest joke of her life whenever this man spoke which was cringeworthy to watch. That said, I wouldn't have cared if she had been more attentive to my table. We had asked for the bill and 30 minutes later still not received it because Candy had taken up a seat at this man's table with his colleague and was more concerned about flirting with him than serving her tables. I had to go over to her at this man's table and ask if she was still able to get the bill for us (still being very polite and friendly at this point). She then went on to serve other customers and was clearly talking about me to them as they were all looking around as she was waving her arms around and ranting about me (I'd only asked for her name which triggered this reaction). I will NEVER stay at this Premier Inn again or eat here again, and after speaking to colleagues about the turn of events they all shared similar experiences of Candy. Candy is a disgrace to this restaurant and should frankly be sacked immediately! On the other hand - Henry who was working on the bar could not do enough for us, was friendly and clearly very hard working - quite the opposite to Candy! Well done Henry, you are a credit to the restaurant, it's just unfortunate you have to carry people like Candy more concerned about the men that come in than serving her tables.

Just eaten here arrived at 16:30 wanting a quick bite to eat waited an hour for our main meal, In total 3 hours. We had to get our own drink from the bar that had been sitting there. We also sent back one of the meals as been on the hot plate for 45 minutes. Staff did not know what they were doing, no organisation and quite frankly a shambles’s. Staff were picking up plates using the sleeves of their jumpers and balancing plates on their chest to carry 3 plates. Another member of staff was behind the grill with a blouse on and no hat. Staff were dressed in what they liked, no uniform at all. Absolute disgrace. I would avoid this restaurant at all cost.

Appalling service. No chefs in the kitchen, the waiters were struggling to get any orders out and when they did they were stone cold and sent back. Customers ended up leaving without any food. Was there last night 5/12/23 for a per booked Christmas meal for 21. Totally got the wrong amount of people (12) table was not set,no Christmas crackers very limited menu and not Christmas,booked for 7:30pm,food didn't start coming till 9:30!!, was told the grill was not working, the poor waitress was rushed off her feet as it appeared she was the only one working. Really don't bother going. The kitchen isn't working. We had a booking today for four people, but they informed us that the kitchen wasn't working. The notice outside said it was a limited menu which is a nonsense as there was no kitchen. When we asked why beefeater didn't phone us the manager didn't seem that bothered. She even had a silly grin on her face. She said the staff on yesterday should have phoned us. I said to her she could have called us this morning. She didn't even apologise to the person behind us who had a booking for 8 people. Hopeless.Beefeater isn't a patch on what it used to be

SOME staff are sooo unprofessional. Waiting to be seated we are asked “did you even book?” without asking name or check their system. You have to guess whether to follow her to table because she just whips round and starts walking away . At the table , no ladies first they just take orders depending on which among you they deem superior.. Childrens meals come LAST. Only popped in to use the toilet in Northwood branch.. Asked for the code... But wow loo seat hanging off. Liquid on the floor.. good job I'm good at hovering as I was desperate but wow needs some maintenance for sure . The staff seemed very friendly

Went to order a chocolate Frappuccino. Took over half an hour. Went to order again but a coffee (can't remember what one) and timed it to less than 1 minute. Seems like they can't be asked to make harder orders.
