Wentworth Patisserie in Runnymede

My work colleagues and I used to get lunch from this place as a rare treat and it was always a guilty pleasure. Recently our trips have proved less frequent as the standards seem to have dropped. The sandwich baguettes are now always undercooked and chewy,, the southern fried chicken tastes likes the cheapest "school dinner" chicken that you can imagine, bacon is rubbery - just horrible, The cakes are good but even those are bought in and not made on the premises. I won't give this place any more chances as it continues to disappoint, and it's not cheap either..

Called in to pick up a sandwich and a drink recently and ended up throwing it in the bin. Ordered a Roast Pork and Stuffing Baguette with crackling and got a flaccid looking bread roll crammed full of stuffing with a tiny bit of shredded cold pork mixed into it which was awful and totally devoid of crackling. I wouldn't waste my money going here again.

Great coffee and sausage rolls Staff were great especially Fayth who served us. I would definitely go back if passing.

Really good range of hot lunch items, cakes and bread. Cakes are really good. Wraps in chiller fridge overpriced and not that great. Wentworth Patisserie looks lovely outside however, the uninterested and abrupt staff had about as much warmth as a freezer. Customer service is as important to me as the food so won't be going back. It was recommended to me as a good place to get lunch during lockdown but the staff let the place down. Won't go back.

I stumbled upon Wentworth Patisserie back in March whilst searching for somewhere to make a bespoke cake for my partners birthday. We had only recently moved to the area but it’s fair to say since then, we (me in particular) have been regular attendees. Everything is freshly made and the staff are super friendly. To the extent that I suggested they make some cheese and marmite scones last night as a response to one of their Instagram posts and they messaged me this morning saying they'd made some and asking how many I would like! I have told friends and they have all commended my tremendous suggestion. Will continue to return regularly! I recommend the twix cheesecake and the marmite cheese straws specifically but everything is great from the brownies to the cookies to the cakes! 10/10

Always service with a smile and so efficient. Their bread is second to none - full of flavour and keeps well, altogether the perfect loaf. I can recommend this shop.

Rude, unprofessional and unbothered staff. Ordered a cake from them a year ago and it was perfect. Since then i have attempted to order a cake twice and both times they were very unhelpful and not at all interested in the needs of clients. They cancelled one after taking the order due to personal holiday. Once the price quoted to me before and price on collecting was a whole £20 difference (which i paid as I didn’t want to cause a scene). Staff were also awkward when you try to order buttcream cake and told us they only use fondant. Moreover after the first order I recommend them to a number of people and theyve had difficult experiences too. If you dont want to be disappointed dont order from here!

I don’t know which brand of coffee they use but it is delicious! The sausage sandwiches (with thick/doorstop type bread) is filling and tasty. Would definitely recommend this place!

Popped in to get a bacon sandwich this morning which was wonderful! Very yummy well cooked food. The cakes looked beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Great speedy service despite the busy rush. Would definitely recommend!

A small but unbelievably busy patisserie. Heaving from early in the morning with builders, Mums and suits. Great filled rolls, sandwiches - gobsmackingly calorific cakes, decent coffee/tea. Selection of cold drinks, sweets and crisps.Hot food too from breakfast to hot potatoes.Great place!

Always pleasant staff, even in the hot weather. If you don't get in quick all the bacon and cheese turnovers wil have gone!!

The staff are friendly and you can get decent fresh sandwiches and sausage rolls etc. Always good and my place of choice for decent lunch time snack

What a find within walking distance of where we’re staying. Great choice for hot and cold. Filled crusty rolls were delicious. Coffee great and staff all helpful

Well was told about this place popped in last week staff were rushing around very friendly "anything else with that!!" a good pun!!! Food was epic! Busy little place...def pop in again :)))

Geat friending and there allways have a geat smile and great sever and nice staffing and I like going there's for sweet cakes

I often visit to buy cakes for meetings and they are always enjoyed. Breakfast is good here too. It's not the cheapest in the area but the quality is high so it is justified. Always lots of staff serving so waiting time is minimal.

Great for an on the run breakfast....lovely rolls, sandwiches, fresh bread and cakes. Always busy with a diverse client base.

I ordered the cookie dough cheesecake which was delicious, although it put me in a sugar coma. My roll was alright, but a lady in front of me dropped her sandwich because she was not offered a bag and couldn't hold her stuff. The staff didn't care or say anything, would come back for the coleslaw tho.

As we live locally in Virginia Water I have bought many items from Wentworth Patisserie in the past. The place is clean and the quality is good. Staff are always friendly and their prices are realistic. If you come to spend a day in Virginia Water lake and arrive by train, stop off on route to pick up a few tasty things. You will not be disappointed.

This is without the best Patisserie come sandwich shop I have eaten from. The cakes are excellent, the sandwiches made to order are brilliant but most importantly the staff are wonderful and friendly!! If you are looking for a healthy or naughty breakfast lunch or treat there is something for everyone.......... p.s the carrot cake is to die for !

This place is so popular and does a roaring trade. Excellent for food on the go but also for treats. Great selection. Staff always on the ball.

Superb sausage rolls and other hot food. Far better than take away shops. Worth a stop off. Staff can be a bit slow considering how many there are but that's not a problem for the end result.

How lucky is Virginia Water to have this amazing little bakery. Fresh bread, breakfast rolls, great lunch options and an impressive cake selection. Always heaving and beats supermarket bakery any day!

Stopped at this lovely patisserie in leafy Virginia Water the other day. What a great find! Staffed by a bunch of lovely, friendly, cheeky girls, serving a great selection of sandwiches, cakes, drinks and ice cream. Great value for money and a wide selection of flavours and hot and cold options.
