Lovely people producing high quality meats. It’s difficult to pick a favourite as everything we bought here was delicious. Really well flavoured salamis, prosciutto and coppa and definitely try the black bacon cured in molasses for a really top notch breakfast. Also stocks a small range of good, mostly local preserves, cheeses and eggs.

Unfortunately this Farm Shop in Shrewsbury has now closed ... permanently as I understand it. A pity, as they have great pork produce. Can still be obtained elsewhere.

This shop is a wee bit out of the way and could easily be missed but not by us glad to say. Great service from a lovely chap, who gave us the history of the farm etc. Good selection.

We went to the Christmas market last year and brought some different kinds of sausages. We weren’t disappointed the taste was amazing. So last weekend while up visiting family we make it our mission to visit the wenlock farm shop to buy more of their sausages. Pork, bacon & leek are delicious. Pork & Shropshire ale with whole grain mustard my husband loves them. Pork & sweet chilli they are nice too. There are a lot more different flavours but I’m sure they are all good. The lady that served us was very friendly and even give us a ice pack so that they would stay cool on our way home. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Despite being a great butchers this hidden gem of a shop also serves up lovely bacon, sausage or egg (or a combination of those...) as well as other meats and fillings in freshly baked good sized rolls. Between the three of us we ordered three very different lunches and each enthused as to how lovely the one we had was. Hidden down the side of the Salopian bar (very limited parking, max 2 cars?) but handy if you can pop in there on foot. Highly recommended.

Bought my Christmas ham from here after reading a review in the paper, they were not wrong, the ham I bought for Christmas was beautiful. It had a great flavour and was moist, it was a good weight and fed us all throughout the festive season and some now resides in my freezer! Very friendly and chatty staff served me and made the visit a lovely experience, a great start to my festive food shopping.

Had been meaning to call in, but with only one parking space outside you have to time the visit right! Everything looked very tempting, only bought sausages but they are REALLY good. Taste great and virtually no fat came out when they were cooking. Will definitely go again and try other things.

This farm shop makes up take away lunches. We paid about £6:50 for two fresh huge rolls. The beef was excellent my husband enthused. And I was given a free tomato. There was a table and 2 chairs outside and we sat, ate and enjoyed the sunshine Great place.

As it is off the beaten track, it is easily missed, but I'm glad I ventured in. The sausages and bacon are fantastic. As you would expect, slightly more expensive than your high street supermarket, but the flavour and quality of meat far outweighs the cost difference. I've only been in a few times, but I'm looking forward to buying steaks and more from this lovely small shop.

I popped in as I was passing, and despite having seen this place a hundred times I've never been in to buy something before. My mistake. I got one of their home-made game pies and brought it home for lunch. Heated up in the oven for 15 minutes with some peas, and it was delicious. I even got congratulated for my hunter gatherer skills for finding such a lovely lunch! Will definitely go back for more.

Although I have not visited the farm shop I did buy some produce from them at Thursdays Ludlow local producers market. I bought some of their pork, tomato and Worcester sauce sausages and they were delicious to say the least,if this is an example of their produce the rest will be worth a try. When I'm in the area I will visit the farm shop in person.

Although primarily a farm shop, there was a take-away menu or the food could be consumed on the fore-court. The food sampled was delicious and all home-made. The food preparation area was in view, and this, along with the rest of the premises was immaculate. The take-away menu included reasonably- price hot drinks, soup and snacks, quiches, pasties, pork pies and cream teas. I was aware that the Wenlock Edge Farm had opened an outlet in Shrewsbury, however, I had not expected the range of food to be available. The sausages and ham were delicious and all of the meat including bacon, chicken, pork and beef looked of top quality. Moving into the county town of Shropshire from the south of Shropshire, I had always longed for a butcher like those I was accustomed to in Bridgnorth and Ludlow. After a long wait, I need look no further!

Absolutely brilliant cafe with delicious artisan coffee, amazing home made cakes, and a range of home cooked food. Owned by local people. Lovely outside seating in the summer. Set in the interesting and historic village of Ditton Priors with its walk up Brown Clee.

This was our second long awaited visit - last time it was to celebrate the anniversary of our first date - this time both our birthdays. I mention this because we were greeted with a card each and an additional surprise at the end. The whole experience is an absolute joy, the atmosphere, service and wonderful food. Some of the courses challenged my palate - in a very positive way. The attention to detail and the flavours are outstanding. This makes it great value for money - not cheap but very good value. Deservedly fully booked

Great small restaurant with an interesting lunch menu. The food is described fined for sharing and 2 or 3 plates are recommended. I had Danish frikkedellar, my husband had pork belly. Both beautifully presented small lunch portions. The coffee was good, the service unobtrusive and the views from the outside terrace are also good. Not fast food, but stunnngly good food. Also. A good stop for coffee and cake, or Fika.
