For many years we have enjoyed a meal before a concert at the SSE Arena in the Restaurant. Nice layout, tables not on top of each other and always had been good Visited last week and although the layout etc the same, you now ordered via a tablet on the table Firstly the beer my husband wanted was not listed so had to go to the bar and ask for it The tablet was easy to use but the pictures of the limited food available were very misleading We both asked for the fish finger burger which in the picture showed large pieces of fish overlapping the bun, when it arrived it was 3 small fish nuggets very poor value for £14.95 we should have sent the food back but did not trust the kitchen, we did complain but the lady in charge of the restaurant could only apologise and say she would tell the chef. We will not be going back as better value food is available in the area

For many years we have enjoyed a good meal in civilised surroundings pre Andre Rieu concert at Wembley Arena restaurant - what a disappointment now ! Following a revamp, ocloths gone - now just bare tables, reduced menu choice and you even have to order yourself on screens at table - all no doubt to save money. The much reduced staff merely deliver ordered food and clear afterwards Virtually no options if like one of our party you happened to be gluten or garlic intolerant and didn’t like fish whereas options such as gluten free bread & potatoes cooked without garlic oil available last year Only saving grace was hospitality manageress who, once located, tried vainly to help with a menu which had been foisted on her - only option for our friend was dry turkey & chips ! Will be looking elsewhere next time - you should do too !

There are few places to eat at Wembley arena so we were pleased to see this advertised. The staff are very good, friendly and efficient. The mushroom starter was good and we were looking forward to our main courses. Unfortunately these were disappointing. The aubergine and haloumi burger had a tiny piece of haloumi in and and some very rubbery aubergine. Not a cheap dish. The prosecco was warm. Overall a disappointment, especially as they have a captive audience. Overpriced for the standard of food they serve.

We had booked the restaurant before Peter Pan Panto. The menu was extremely small and nothing at all like the menu on the web. The restaurant was cold. The waiters were excellent, there was as many of them as customers. All in all very disappointing, some customers walked out when they saw the menu available.

Booked to eat at the Wembley Arena restaurant with a group of six prior to the Andre Rieu concert Dec 22nd last One of our party is gluten intolerant and we had specified this when booking - on arrival this had been duly noted and supervisor and waitress were most attentive to these special needs and indeed to the rest of us. Huge thanks and commendations to Compass Group, the caterers for first class service and food - also prices were reasonable and not the rip off sometimes found in such locations. Well done all concerned ! Andre Rieu’s orchestra and soloists were on fine form with some welcome new material among familiar crowd pleasers. A consummate showman, the entire show is beautifully presented and dressed and delivered with panache and enthusiasm - one his best in our experience over many years Both restaurant and show were fully booked and fully delivered.

Heineken lounge is a ripp off ...not enough sitting ...for this price it ought to be table service and a first class range if drinks

Been there yesterday, waited 30 min for something I was told is 15 mins Deserts arrived before main courses. Waited a bit more and the manager comes to say they are out for what I ordered. Chose something else and finally ate, almost was late for the show.... Portions are too small, prices too high and must avoid. Better eat outside than inside the arena. Only choices in the arena are overpriced hot-dogs and this restaurant

We Were her for the Andre Rieu Concert 7th March, Really nice restaurant to sit and rest prior to the show, Only concern is the lack of menu options, Only Three mains and one had sold out. One of my party only had soup, Also price might be a shock, £96 for three only having two courses each a glass of wine and a beer, not itemised on bill so who knows, staff are up against it with show time, order wrong or lost, but hay was an experience. Food was really nice especially the sweets..

We were thrilled to get a table despite not booking, due to a cancellation. The front of house was lovely and the general service was great. However the food itself was pricey and poor. The rack of ribs was around £13-14 i think and tiny! Maybe 3 inches by 2 inches long. The chicken burger was dry and on an even dryer ciabatta roll. Good for a pre-show drink, but there are plenty of better restaurants round the corner from the arena for dinner.

We booked to eat here as we were attending Bear Grylls and it certainly ticked the box for convenience. Also really lovely waitress but the organisation was a bit hopeless. We enjoyed the food, tasty and hot enough but it seemed to take a long time coming and there was a constant procession of staff walking up and down between the tables looking for the table numbers in order to deliver their plates. Good value though and we would perhaps use again if at the Arena as it is good to be parked before the crowds. However there do seems to be more interesting places to eat around the venue since the redevelopment to it may be better to look elsewhere.

I've given this restaurant 1 star because it won't allow me to give zero stars. The service was shocking. Having waited 30 minutes for our food I asked one of the passing waiters where our food was, he never even bothered coming back to speak to us to let us know what was happening with our order. After a further 10 minutes we spoke to the restaurant manager who went to check for us, she returned to say it was being plated up. 5 minutes later still no food, having waited 45 minutes for a chicken burger with fries. How on earth can it take longer than 45 minutes to cook frozen fries and a frozen piece of chicken ??!!!! We eventually gave up and told the manager to forget or order, she asked us to give her some more time and she'd sort something out. We explained we didn't want to wait any longer, she offered to get us a dessert ?!!! I mean we wanted a main meal not a dessert ! How are people supposed to eat a dessert for their evening meal instead of a proper meal ?!! I only wish we'd read some of the reviews on here first. Sadly management obviously don't care about the reviews on here because nothing's changed since 2015 ! Do NOT go here, eat anywhere else but here...you have been warned !

This restaurant may look appealing on the arena website and might seem convenient for a show - steer clear! The food smelt like a "school dinner" from 40 years ago, was lukewarm, badly presented and had never had a chef anywhere near it. It was truly appalling, I did not think it was possible to eat food like this in a major capital in the 21st century - and as if all that was not bad enough the bill, with a glass of wine (£6.30) came to £60 for two. Oh and the decor is awful, cheap furniture, no atmosphere ........Iactually, there was one positive - the staff were courteous and attentive, so much so that I did not have the heart to complain - which I should have done!

We arrived early for the Lippizaner Stallions Show, to have a relaxing meal, and TGI's etc were VERY busy. From outside this restaurant looked ok, clean and spacious, so we decided to eat in the SSE Arena restaurant......BIG MISTAKE !!We ordered a bottle of wine firstly...the waiter EVENTUALLY came with one glass of wine. We said what we had asked for, and after a wait again the correct white NZ wine came with an ice bucket, but the wine was WARM ! They told us to wait before drinking it !! The two course meal was :A. Very small portion wise B. Not very exciting (drab) to look at, C, Was cold !! Pity the wine wasnt !!The waiters seemed as though they had just come in for the Event, but then told us it was 'always awful' and 'always like this !! We asked in disgust for our bill, and were then charged for an even more expensive bottle of wine than the one we had ordered. We had to wait then until a 'Manager' could come to deal with our bill.Which was £75.00 We would NEVER return to that so-called restaurant. Totally Incompetent !Such a shame...because the Show was Amazing !

This was actually our second visit to this restaurant, on both occasions as a pre-show meal, when we wanted to be parked and on-site well before the start of the show. Last time, I recall the meal was very ordinary but acceptable and the service slow and unpredictable from staff who seemed pleasant but basically not good at the job. I'd probably have given it three stars then. This time, it was far worse, despite our expectations not being high. The choices on the menu were very limited - just three options per course. Apparently sometimes they offer a second menu (the "bar menu") that appears more extensive and interesting but we only had the option of the limited menu. Our starters arrived reasonably quickly, but were very small and not at all interesting. We then waited for our main courses. And then we waited some more. After a long time, our waitress, who happened to be passing our table, asked if we were waiting for anything. We told her that we were and then we waited again. Eventually, the main courses arrived but were not really worth the wait. My beef sirloin consisted of three uninteresting and overcooked small pieces of meat on top of some smoky mash (that was the best bit actually) and a few token vegetables. My wife's Oxford Blue Cheese croquette apparently tasted only of potato - as if they'd left out the cheese and was only slightly less ungenerous than my beef.We ordered desserts and then waited again. By now, the show was only 30 mins from starting, so we asked a passing manager about them. She checked and told us that there was a problem with the till system and that our order had been lost. She said it as if she knew there was a problem with the system and she wasn't really surprised our order had gone astray. At our request she checked with the kitchen but apparently it was too late to produce these simple desserts in time. Our patience had by now run out, so we requested the bill and a big discount, which she produced fairly quickly. To be fair she only charged us for two courses for one person, so my wife's meal was effectively free of charge - a bigger discount than I was expecting, so that was handled well. The staff give the impression of being amiably incompetent - as if they were volunteers doing it for some sort of sponsored charity event, rather than people actually paid and hopefully trained to do the job. We were sitting close to the till, where there was an almost permanent huddle of waiting staff, obviously not really knowing what to do, or perhaps waiting to enter orders into the black hole that the till clearly was. Although they apparently knew there was a problem with the system, it didn't seem to occur to our waitress to check on us or the kitchen regularly to ensure our meals were in progress. The restaurant area is spartan and unattractive - reminiscent perhaps of a office canteen and was also uncomfortably cold. So, don't go here for the ambience! My wife uses a wheelchair and one good point is that this restaurant is completely accessible, they seem to put wheelchair users near the entrance end to make it easier to get in and out, and there is a disabled toilet just down a short corridor.Overall, the only reason for eating here is if you have absolutely no alternative. As we entered (via the South East entrance) we noticed that maybe 20 yards along the road there's a TGI Fridays, and a Prezzo just beyond that. Even if these aren't your favourite eateries, I would strongly suggest those in preference.

The starters were out of packets and the main courses were poor. My fish was ok, but my wife's lamb was a food crime. It was overcooked, utterly dry and hard work to chew. Went to Club Wembley as a treat when in London to see Bradford City play, who sadly lost. Had lunch here before the game, which was lovely presented but not to my taste ie starter of smoked salmon consisting of smoked salmon, cavier and salmon tartlet followed by roast beef served medium rare with vegetables, but cold by the time our table were all served. Desert was bakewell tart with sorbet and blackcurrants, which was okay.Service was excellent, although did not get coffee before the match started and then the tables were cleared before finishing our drinks. After the match we had a drink and buffet food ie sandwiches, chicken curry pie and mini cream scones in the atrium, which was nice.

I tried to book this restaurant before we left home on 5th Feb, so I phoned the booking line and the auto reply said that the restaurant was fully booked for that day. So I sent an email (I avoided this at the beginning as I needed a quick response) and within 10 mins I had a "live" person reply that said no problem and accepted our booking. I wonder how many other people just accepted the auto reply non-availability message. So we were very pleased that we had got a table at the 11th hour. Our table was for 5.45pm and we arrived at the Arena at 5.10pm (never been before and there was no large sign saying that this was the Arena and had to ask a security guard). However, we found at that the doors do not open until 5.30pm so there was a group of us standing in the cold, windy rain staring at the lovely warm empty foyer with the guards on the inside looking very comfortable. When the doors opened we went to the a la Carte restaurant only to find it full of people having dinner. So I guess there must have been a secret entrance somewhere although I couldn't see this mentioned on the website!!!!! We sat down at our table and waited ages to have our order taken. In the meantime the people on the next table apparently had a 5pm reservation, so somehow they found the secret door. Our starter arrived and the food was excellent. But the moment we finished (seconds) our main course arrived, so a "bird in the hand etc", we accepted the main course and helped the waitress juggle trying to collect the empty starter plates as well as place down the main course. Halfway through the main course I noticed that the people next to us (the 5pm booking folk) hadn't any food. They had timed the wait and it was 1 hour apparently for their main course to be delivered. By then we had finished ours (feeling guilty!!). The main course was excellent so we decided to have desert which was also very good. So, food very good, but service staff need a lot of training. Also, don't always believe auto voice messages - people forget to update them, and finally a better welcome than standing out in the cold for 20 mins.

Food and drinks arrived promptly and there was a nice buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant. You didn't feel rushed at all. My only criticism was it was very cold in the restaurant. Originally I thought it was just me, but having overheard ladies in the queue for the toilets (isn't there always a queue!) it was the general opinion. We booked to have a meal in the restaurant, as opposed to the bar prior to seeing an event at the arena. On arrival we were shown promptly to our table, menu's offered and drinks order taken. There seemed to be numerous young people serving who were all very pleasant and keen to please. The menu although limited had interesting dishes on offer. We opted to go for 2 courses rather than 3. After our food order was taken we sat back and enjoyed our drinks. We were in no rush, however the two tables either side (who were seated after us) ordered their food and had eaten their starters and there was still no sign of ours! On checking with the guy who had taken our order we were told that things had backed up a bit in the kitchen. Eventually the food arrived, duck pate for hubbie, smoked salmon and with a mackerel pate for me. Both were delicious although I would have liked some bread to go with the dish.We polished these off in short order and plates cleared. After a while a waiter asked if we were ready for our main course which we said we were, there then followed another wait! The mains; pork with calvados sauce and crushed potatoes for me and sea bass for hubbie were hot and very tasty. However the amount of veg especially for hubbie was a little small.Overall a good meal which would have got a higher score if the waiting had been a little less, bread had accompanied my starter & they had been a little more generous with the veggies.

We arrived without a booking and asked if they had any tables. They said they would have one available at 6.10pm. I explained we were attending a concert that started at 7.30pm and we were assured that we would have plenty of time. We returned at 6.10 and were shown to our seats. As we had studied the menu we knew what we wanted, and in order to save time we ordered there and then. A few minutes later another member of staff came to our table and said that she would be responsible "for our whole restaurant experience". It got to 6.30 and we had not received our starter (which was cold cooked meats, sun dried tomatoes and artichoke heart). We asked the waitress who was responsible "for our whole restaurant experience" and she said she would look into it. Nothing happened. At 6.40pm I went to a group of waitresses ( we had commented earlier that there seemed to be a lot of front of house staff) standing by the till and said we had been waiting for 30 minutes and had not seen any food and that we would be leaving in 3 minutes. The food then appeared. The waitress who was responsible "for our whole restaurant experience" then came to the table and asked if we were in any particular hurry. This seemed strange as we were eating in the Wembley Arena which to access we had had to show our tickets for 7.30pm concert. We explained this to her.The second course then did not appear. We spoke to the waitress responsible "for our whole restaurant experience" and again mentioned the lack of food to which she said she had been to the kitchen and there was nothing else she could do.The food did eventually arrive and we were still eating it when we the tannoy announced we should take our seats. I left the money for the bill in cash and we went to find our concert seats. So the service did not even rate as poor. The food? The starter was simply put on a plate from jars so was o.k. We both selected chicken as our main course - nothing exciting and my partner's was dry. However the concert was fantastic. So my tip is to eat before coming to the Arena

Me and my friend went to see dancing on ice last Tuesday and decided to eat at the Arena restaurant, I booked on-line telling them the time and how many people. When we got there we had to go through door no 1 where a doorman said my name was not on the list but let us in anyway, when we got up to the restaurant the woman who seats you also said my name was not on the list, I explained that I had done the booking on-line she said that they phone you back and confirm the booking did I have this, I said no but not booking before you wouldn't know this.I ordered mushroom in garlic bread and butter pudding to start with my friend had crab cakes, mine come up it was a very small block if it had one mushroom in it I was lucky my friend said she thought the crab must have got away because there was hardly any taste to them. Our main course was a lot better I had sea bass and my friend had chicken supreme which was also a small portion, that all came to £24 each but for another £4 we could have a dessert so we ordered (as we were still a bit hungry) cheese and biscuits 4 biscuits and 3 small pieces of different cheese and about 5 grapes. We also ordered a bottle of Rosa wine at about £16 cant quite remember the price. In all it was quite an expensive meal for what you got I think they have to sort their starters out add a bit more to their main meal and make the cheese a bit more thicker then you can say you had a good meal worth the money.

My partner, child and I visited this restaurant on a wedneday evening last month. We ordered a main course each and some drinks. There was no childrens menu so I asked if we could have a childrens portion of moussaka to which the waitress replied 'yes'. we waited quite a while on the food considering we were the only people in the restaurant at the time which lacked any kind of atmosphere. The food came eventually, it looked of good quality and tasted ok but it was tiny portions. In fact my portion of moussaka was the same size as my 5 year old Childs portion. My partner ate his one measly shish kebab on a Childs portion of rice and we both looked at each other saying we felt like we had only eaten a starter and when was the proper main course coming (laugh). At this stage the owner walked passed and asked us was everything ok for us to which I replied 'well the food was ok but the portions were much too small. He got quite defensive and showed no respect for us at all. He continued to argue that the portions size was fine and that in '28 years of business he never had a complaint about the portion size'. We didn't seem to get anywhere with his arrogance and refused his offer of free deserts as this wasn't are reason to get freebies, the portion sizes were just ridiculously small and he couldn't accept this. We asked for the overpriced bill, paid the full amount (regretably)and walked out of arena restaurant utterly disgusted and HUNGRY!!!

Ausgesprochen nette und aufmerksame Bedienung (Chef). Essen überdurchschnittlich. Die dortige Lamm-Keule ist weltklasse. Gute Auswahl an Getränken. Sehr gute grichische Weine vorrätig. In der gegend ist es eh schwierig, ein Restaurant zu finden. Dies war in 4 Tagen mit Abstand unsere beste Wahl.

We chose the Wembley Arena Restaurant so that we could have a relaxed meal before walking straight to our seats for Circ du Soliel - couldn't have been more wrong! It was laid out like a cafe with cheap tables and no covers, but we pressed on. The order was taken promptly, however, when the wrong wine arrived 30 mins later we knew something wasn't right. Only half the starters were served and we waited 10 mins for the remainder to be told the full order hadn't been sent to the kitchen and they would start again. The restaurant was filling up as the show was now only an hour away and the staff appeared overwhelmed. The starters reappeared only to have one dropped on the floor, so we started regardless. Main courses arrived shortly afterwards but with only minutes to the show beginning, we had to eat fast. No time for sweet or coffee - we settled the reduced bill, due to the complete cockup of a meal, and vowed never to return. Can't say the food was that good either, very overpriced for what we received.

Kensington Quarter is the best place for breakfast on Kensington Street. It's spacious, modern, and offers a worthy selection of various egg dishes, freshly baked bread, a wide variety of pastries, hi
