From the out side it looks like a country pub and it looks the same in side as well it's a nice pub

Bar staff are great place just needs upgrading and some price war starting to keep the competition going and its various pub groups that are killing it all

Wow what can I say it's about the best place in elland for the community spirit nice and relaxed inside but also got a great beer garden which when the sun shines its the place to be pets included always water on tap for them all in all it gets a 5 star from me

Think the landlord is in the wrong job, he had his young bar staff call last order's last night at 9.45pm on a Saturday night with a pub at least half full ???. Maybe there's was something I and plenty others were completely unaware of.

The place was very warm and welcoming. I was allowed to push two tables together so the group of us could sit together. I ended up standing because the chairs were high and not very comfortable

Reasonable price. Good TV sport on show.

Wasn't happy I ordered a pint of coke he got the bottle coke out fridge poured into my pint glass and it was flat not happy, then ordered 2 lots fish and chips £27 and wow thought we got a kids portion, plus the two lads were on mobile phones i had to say hello you serving, certainly disappointed, I wanted to upload a pic of the food but won't let me

Cracking little local this. Brilliant bar staff quality entertainment well worth a little look and a good place to spend the evening.

The old woman working there is completely ignorant. The family in general is kind and very attentive usually, however, the old lady tends to be very rude and unapproachable. I've had to give one star as I won't know when it is working.

Five star friendly local pub. Well worth a visit as it's a shining example of a market town local. Staff are friendly and resilient and the local characters that visit hold a wealth of experience and knowledge on local national and of course worldwide issues. Much better than your fake Irish pubs or pretentious craft gin parlours. No real ale, just real down to earth good people. You should try it!
