The food here is nice, if limited. However, the place is hopelessly understaffed and hellishly noisy and chaotic. It's also really warm and stuffy which isn't what you want with a warm meal/drink.

We often pop on here when in London. I use a wheelchair and it's fully accessible. There's a button to let you on and then a lift to get to the exhibition, cafe (red velvet cake is scrumptious) and shop. Great choice of food, the cafe always has a lovely atmosphere. Awesome selection of goodies in the shop. Staff are always welcoming, helpful and polite. Highly recommend a visit here.

The cafe is in the foyer of the Welcome Collection and right next to the museum shop. It is clean and bright but difficult to find a table even on a quiet day. The food is appetisingly set out and satisfying. Typical of a chain eatery and self-service. It fulfils a need and is reasonably priced.

We visited the Wellcome Café for lunch after looking around the Wellcome Collection. We hit the café at lunch time, so it was very busy. We just had drinks and cakes (as we had brought sandwiches) but with hindsight their fixed price lunch option looked good and was sensibly priced.

Popped in to do a bit of work. Was relaxed and did not feel I needed to move on as soon as I’d finished my cake! Bright space and plenty of room. Love the lights. Food provided by Benugo - lemon drizzle and fresh lemonade were both tasty. Would visit again if near Euston.

A nice bright cafe with lovely lights that gently change colour. Friendly helpful service. There are baguettes, ciabattas, fresh salads (such as potato, beetroot, couscous, al dents cauliflower and green beans) pies (I had smoked tofu and spinach). A selection of cakes - I had a brownie cheesecake with raspberries that was nice. There were a lot of signs warning about bag snatchers . I don't think there were any bag hooks, which if fitted might help if there is no table too room for a bag.

This cafe is buzzing all day. A slightly cerebral crowd of students and those visiting local scientific and health bodies nearby. I overlapped with the end of lunch service at 3pm which was very full. By 4-5pm it was quieter and leas noisy. A mix of chairs and tables and sofa banquettes on the walls. a great place to meet a friend or go to read/study whilst eating and drinking. Good gift shop too with science themed books cards and games

Expensive, (see below), and the banana bread was definitely past its best. Very dry and hard. Had I been on my own, I would have taken it back. A cup of coffee was £3.25 and the very disappointing slice of banana bread, £3.10. In total £6.35. Central London prices are high, but this is definitely at the upper end.

Big up market lobby cafe serving the hordes of visitors who come to see the exhibitions and the people who work in this enormous building. This is the perfect place for a business meeting near Euston station. But don't go here if you are in a hurry. Today I queued 7 minutes for my coffee even though there were 3 people working behind the counter. The delay meant the queue soon built up. Its a lovely place, although a bit noisy. If you go here allow time for that queueing - maybe its just part of the London experience.

Paró aquí cuando visite la Colección Wellcome, para tomar una taza de té. Las instalaciones son luminosas y acogedoras, pero las mesas son poky. The place was buzzing when I visited as it was loaded with students, all being very intense. Quite a selection of food, but apart from it being over priced (there was a big turnover, so prices could easily have been reduced) much of it was laid out in the area used by customers, some of whom were less that careful when they walked by swinging computer bags - I did see 2 rolls being knocked on to the floor & hastily picked up & replaced on the display plates. Even behind the counter nothing was covered up, so despite the food looking attractive, I resisted trying any of it.

We booked a table for 6 for lunch. When we arrived at 12.25 we were told reluctantly that we could go in. The dining room had bare tables except for our table. Then we were completely ignored and had to go to find a waitress to serve us. The menu we were offered was not the menu visible online. There was a misunderstanding about the starter ordered. The waitress didn't repeat what we ordered to confirm she had written what we wanted. When we had finished our starter we had to get up to find a waitress to ask if our food was ready. One person in our party said it was the worst meal he had ever had. He ordered cod which came with an enormous quantity of chick peas and a burned vegetable which may have been fennel. No-one came to the table to ask if we were happy with the food. No-one of us said the food was exceptional. Again when we finished, we had to get up to ask to see the dessert menu nad have the bill and even when the bill came we had to indicate we wanted to pay. This was very disappointing and certainly, would not recommend this restaurant because of the terrible service and the non-descript food.

As it's inside the Welcome Collection, it is a bit off of the usual track and so my colleague and I were able to have a great chat with no interruptions. The food was really good and fairly priced. Wine selection is great. My one note would be that the decor, while nice, could perhaps be more reflective of the Wellcome itself (just because it's such a quirky, cool place), but of course that's not vital and the restaurant itself is perfectly pretty--just one girl's observation :-). Visiting UCL, I was taken to the Wellcome Cafe by my hosts. University food is typically bad or heavy, so, as usual, I was concerned. The Wellcome Cafe has modern decor and serves truly excellent food. I was really surprised! The hot-smoked salmon, avocado, arugula and mayo baguette was absolutely delicious. If you work in the area, definitely a place to grab lunch or a quick bite.

Great choice and good portion of freshly made salads. Had a beetroot salad with feta cheese, turnip and root vegetables, that I really enjoyed. Wonderful atmosphere and ready for my next visit.

This boozer has become a new favourite after only one visit. Good selection of beers and decent pub grub too. It is snuck in behind Euston station.

Plenty of room to sit on the ground floor or mezzanine. There's a toilet. Must be busiest in the morning, and so, expect a queue then. There were quite a few people around 5.30pm, but most people had gone by 6pm. The barista was not rude and had a smile when dealing with customers. You can get all kinds of coffee (like cappuccino, latte, iced, etc.) and sweet treats (like cake, muffins or chocolate). A very difficult restaurant to recommend because the variation is too significant between the highs and lows for somewhere at this price level. I have been three times and greatly enjoyed the kidd previously and the game pie most recently. There is often a need to salt the dishes. The desserts are always good. The school food element is appealing to many, but I find a limit to the appeal on dishes with little flavor. Apart from the food, the front room is lovely. There are a few tables in the cramped back of the ground floor which are far less nice. There is also a room in the basement (which I hope is rarely used). The time we most enjoyed was in the main room, but we were sat in the small back room the other two times. The service was competent but reserved. I googled dishes to find out what I was ordering, but there was little invitation to ask questions or real interest in helping diners enjoy their evening.

Nice, nothing more. The ready-made sandwiches are the main menu and they are just that
