Americano wasn't that good... But nice atmosphere

RUDE STAFF! Myself and my partner had ordered drinks and were waiting for the loo and were harassed by staff claiming we were loitering. We told them we had ordered drinks and received a dismissive response and then while waiting watched multiple other people walk in and just use the loo without ordering anything! Staff need to rethink how they treat customers!

In the sadness of London food, it's a valid chance for survival! They have fruit (apples), fresh juices, yogurt, salads... nothing special but in London it's not cheap. Above all, the prices are low.

If you wanna drink water go ahead

Large and well-stocked room. On the first floor many tables and a quiet environment. Free wifi.

Actually, I did not want to change this comment in this way, but I have to change it because I have been subjected to this discrimination many times. I am constantly discriminated against by a shift leader named Rahman. Although I reported this situation to the branch manager Lien, But no luck he(Rahman) continues to behave as he wants. I will report this discrimination to Pret a Manger customer service and if this does not solve this problem, I will report it to the necessary institutions or organisations.

I can only give this branch a middling score. It loses one point for inconsistency in the making of the food and loses a point for customer service as sometimes the servers look confused.

I like my food fresh and twice two members of staff have said to me they have hot wrap on display. But how do I know how long it's been sitting there for if I just came there?

I stopped to have a coffee with a pastry from Belén, it's not even as good as the one from Portugal or Spain, just passable. To go to the bathroom they give you a code on the ticket, the bathrooms are all clogged, dirty... This cafeteria is located in front of the subway entrance on the main street of Candem town. The staff is not very friendly either, I understand that they do not know any Spanish, but they are not interested in understanding you either.

Burnt food🤑 and replaced changed items , not what I have ordered .It's second time when it's happening

The Japanese employee asked me to go into the app and use the subscription before I even placed my order. I use Apple Wallet. How do I decide whether to use the subscription or just pay? He asked me to go to the Pratt subscription app and show it to only me. Several times... But I didn't ask the other guests the same question. It feels like discrimination. Because I’m Asian? I will never go again. I've never been asked anything like this in any other pratt. Used normally.

You can find these everywhere. Some are small but look for ones with comfy chairs and sofas. Food options include sandwiches, warm pasta, and coffee/teas. Can't complain when you need something quick and a rest.

The fact that disabled toilets were locked, and you have to have a code to go into the toilets and the fact it’s unisex without any security cameras explains it all

A standard chain of cafe with a large amount of seating and a good selection of food and drinks to choose from. If you can find a seat by the window this is a great spot to watch the world go by.

Unbelievably Ghastly Place. The "Back Ground " Music is at 100 Decibels so everyone sitting inside as to shout to be heard!!

Rude staff, they are even rude between the staff members. They tell you to buy something to use the toilet and you would except to find the toilet in decent condition considering you have to pay to use it but no, they are filthy, no toilet paper, wet floor (not from water).

This is one of the best Pret locations around central London, the atmosphere is pretty chill and staff is quick and friendly. WiFi here is always reliable. Food also always great like at any other Pret

Christopher is the best he is so kind sweet azaming with me and my mum when we went here on Wednesday for a visit make Christopher a team leader he is so good for what he doing and he always had a smile on he face when he see me he is the guy who make me happy and grateful that I had him in my life

The manager was very silly. We(8 in total) were buying some coffees and something to eat and the manager said that only the customers can go to the toilet, so our friends( only 2 girls) couldn't go to the toilet because they didn't but something. It's very stupid, and if this is the policy of the company...you should check it.

Very popular chain of shops in London. It offers hot and cold food both to take away and to eat on the premises. Excellent value for money

I've been coming her for years because I work nearby. The people know me and despite that I had to buy something to be able to go to the toilet. The queue was also so long, and how am I supposed to go to the toilet if I have to grab a coffee???

The bald guy is an arrogant clown, who treats you with contempt and still laughs at you. The pity is that you have security next to you otherwise you were going to laugh at your bald mother. The coffee is good.

How evil can you be to refuse the toilet to a child and even after buying something for the sake of it, taking forever to give the code… unacceptable…

I absolutely adore this Pret - I study in here nearly everyday and have done since October. I've seen a lot of complaints about the bald barista, however, the staff here have always been utterly lovely to me - especially the bald barista who quite literally makes my day every morning. The toilet codes can be frustrating but staff have never seemed to have an issue with giving it to me, and coffee here has always been excellent. Can be very busy though at lunchtime and during school holidays.

My coffee is BOILING always in this branch! I had Pret's coffee for years, but this branch in Camden is very bad....I can't drink my coffee straight away...I have to wait 10min to cool down, last week I ask them to not heat the milk so much because i have to wait to long to drink it and it taste bad and burn and is boiling, I can't even hold the cap, is ridiculous, the girl that charge me for the coffee she was rude telling me that the milk is supposed to be 70°, but trust me this was more than 150°. I wish they can learn how to make nice coffee like they use to do before!

At 16.00 today, please teach the man working at the cash register how to behave towards customers. As a woman, I only asked to use the toilet. Also I'm pregnant. I told him I'd just bought a drink from another Pret branch an hour ago. I stated that I could show a photograph or bank receipt. He didn't believe me 😅 Just a Toilet. Really ? It's like I'm presenting evidence in court. 🤯 It is not difficult to buy a coffee, but it is disturbing that you are commercialising it. I have never used other coffee chains until now. I've always preferred Pret but I will never choose you again for the difficult situation you left me in today !

Was told I can't have my subscription drink because I don't have the app. This is my first time hearing this as I get my few coffees almost daily just using my QR code.. I do not have enough space on my phone for the app, and all apps I have are v important. I thought about deleting one but no. The subscription wasn't dependant on whether you can have the app or not.

Bald guy needs to fix his attitude, so rude and make faces to customers. And I come there every single morning also red hair lady was talking rudely to other employee.

Good service and helpful staff, but I cannot recommend ordering matcha latte here. It was very bitter, clearly done with too hot water, and for me it seemed as if they tried to fix it with sugar, which frankly didn't work. Othervise normal coffee seems fine.

£3.80 for a coffee in a paper cup, crumbs from food everywhere and sat on a stool! Maybe time to look out for other sandwich branch in town.

Not sure how Pret managed to train some of their staff to be so rude and disinterested but after an encounter with the manager here think I’ve discovered why. After my coffee, acceptable though nothing out of the ordinary, I went to use the accessible toilet. After cancer related surgery I had my bladder removed and wear an urostomy bag that requires regular emptying. Using the radar key given to me by the hospital I opened the door to the toilet at which point I was confronted by the manager demanding to know why I was using the toilet & where I’d got the key from. She then asked where I worked which would totally irrelevant to my need to use the accessible toilet. As I left she was talking to the security guard and gesturing towards me which made me feel especially uneasy. Perhaps training for Pret staff could include that simple phrase “Not every disability is visible”?

Picked up a sandwich. Brunch on the move. Egg mayonnaise. Always spot on with most items however I always think it’s quite a high price to pay for what you get.

I am about to used the toilet on 16 March at 6:15pm. I have bought drinks that afternoon thus why I come back to used toilet in the evening. At that time, there have one team member at the till who is African girl was not allowed me to use the toilet. I said I was there in the afternoon but she was replied she was not there. I think this is not the good service to the customer as I am working customer service. I have decided that I will not never go to that pert again!!!!!!!

The delivery was supposed to be at 13:00. It arrived around 13:45. We only have half an hour for lunch break between 13:15 and 13:45. We couldn’t eat our lunch until 16:00 which is the next break.

Went in on a busy Sunday morning and had a terrible experience overall. They take your order and tell you to wait to the side... and that's it. There is no system in place to make sure everyone is getting their correct drinks during a rush other than calling the drinks out and hoping for the best. They also just call the drinks out randomly. If you order two drinks you expect your two drinks to be called out together when saying they're ready. They're calling them out singularly as soon as they make one which is dumb and confusing for for the 10 people waiting. Two separate customers took our drinks very quickly because they thought they were theirs. Now let me move on to the attitude a few of the staff were catching when their system was obviously not working. The tattooed guy was getting far too loud and mouthy about people not getting their drinks. I'm sorry you're the best barista this side of Camden and none of this could possibly be your fault, but this is a situation the staff have created so where do you get off being aggy with us on a Sunday morning? The bald guy was walking around whispering about customers as well rather than being any help. I wouldn't have even left this review if I didn't watch an elderly woman ask to use the toilet and her being told she has to buy something. So not only is that just a grim and soulless policy, it also means the staff (tattoo and bald are the only ones I had a problem with) have enough energy to talk amongst themselves about the elderly woman who hasn't bought anything yet and not enough to do their jobs adequately during a rush. Just ghoulish behaviour all round

Don't get here. Awful treat. Disgusting room. All dirty. Stuff rude and extremely unpleasant. Just skip it.

Just too expensive! I do like most of the food but only visit if the boss is paying. A (usually burned) Croissant with bacon, cheese and tomato is nearly £5. A fiver! For a Croissant. Starbucks do it also. £3 for an almond Croissant. And I don't like Pret Coffee. It has a very cardboardy taste. And everyone knows it but sometimes has to use the profiteering house of sadness. Bit like the UK really!

The food is good, but the worse hot chocolate ever !!! I'm local so I can confirm is always bad, so you can have a nice bacon and egg roll, but with a disgusting drink 🤪

The hairless waiter was very rude, unlike other Pret a Manger I've been to

No system in place for when it’s busy. Other than you pay for your order then have to constantly keep asking for your order. Appalling service, drinks being made that were not claimed so clearly those guys had given up and gone else where. 10 minutes and 4 requests to finally get my cappuccino, yet no apology just attitude from the gang there. Coffee is half decent almost worth the wait and the cookie was still just in date by the time I got my drink.

Seeing all the other reviews here on the extremely rude service & behaviour from the bald guy, I think it would be wise for him to be removed from this branch.

Staff are absolutely amazing 5+⭐️

Got a filter coffee here and thought it tasted a bit... Chemically. Opened it up and there are soap bubbles or something from some cleaning solution still floating in it that are not the normal bubbles you might see in freshly poured coffee. These have a rainbow sheen and have stuck around for 15 mins. They are not properly cleaning and rinsing the filter coffee machine at this branch and exposing customers to chemicals. Who knows what other poor cleaning they are doing here.

A lady reluctantly did not want to take our order. We went inside and queued up at 7:28pm. The shop does not close until 7:30pm. She was moaning and giving us attitude just because she wanted to finish earlier. It was our right that we were in the shop before closing closing time. Disappointing service from this lady!!! But other workers were fine.

Very rude customer service from bald guy , we wanted too use the toilet aswell but he got all strange about giving us the code even though we were customers. The drinks were awful , luke warm and really bitter tasting coffee. I wanted a chai latte but every pret I have been too recently have sold out 🤔 really disappointed

This is a one star review. I only gave 5 stars because of the senior staff is always super friendly. Anita, the guy with the neck tattoo. Unfortunately I don’t know their name but all senior staff is great. There is a few new staff who has an attitude to bring any willing to work the place. Sorry for my English. Its not my first language.

Bought a bottle of water, didn’t ask if I need the receipt. Then, 2min later, when I asked for the password for the toilet, the bald guy, with very rude attitude, saying “you are supposed to buy something”.

On time but cold no care seems to be important Nowadays toastie sandwich was just thrown in the package not cut got no straw with shaker no napkins, just because I don’t come into the store and I order online it doesn’t mean that you need to cut corners

Extremely rude ignorant bald ,male member of staff. Asked him for the key for disabled toilet, he told me go upstairs. I said I can’t and need to use disabled toilet downstairs. He replied well you will have to wait and he went to fill stock outside counter. I waited at least 15 minutes before he decided to come with key,,, no apologies for making me stand all that time. Will definitely not be a customer in any of Pret Managers shops again. I noticed he was vet rude to many customers when n this day.

I have been customer of pret a manger for years, I've even had a subscription myself, and I stopped going to Pret a manger at that branch because the Italian bald guy has an arrogant and nasty attitude towards customers even to the employers. I can't stand that type of person that believes has the rights to treat people as they want. If you are not capable to work in customer service make a favour to yourself and apply for another job position.

The Italian lady is friendly, hard worker. The reason for my one star is the lack of ice, It has been over a month with no ice, its summer time. Cappuccino tastes like americano.

Every Sunday morning before work I order a cappuccino from this Pret and every time without fail the coffee tastes like a white americano. I believe a training needs to be done, especially with the Sunday staff team as on the other days of the week the coffee tastes fine. Overall, the coffee that I order on Sunday mornings is seriously out of Prets standards.

Great day until our 9 month old needed urgent nappy change and the disabled toilet is blocked with a trolley and rubbish with the staff not letting us use it. We had to change our baby on the street outside. Do you think this is acceptable?

Dopo 4 giorni a Londra fra fish and chips, hamburger e birra Pret è un toccasana... i panini sono ottimi, consiglio quello alla cesar salad, davvero buonissimo. Unica pecca bagno non agibile(da un bel pò vista la massa di materiale stipato di fronte alla porta...) bagni cmq presenti nella struttura al di là della strada

Has a large upstairs seating area if you have a large group of people. Or need to sit down and get some work done.

Did not like the food or drink.

I have been to various Pret stores in the UK. I was amazed by the considerable delay when placing my order. I ordered an oat cappuccino. Four other orders were placed and they all received the order before my cappuccino arrived. I felt disappointed and irritated by the extremely poor service I received when visiting this store. I had made contact with pret online and am yet to receive a response four days after the correspondence was sent.

How can you legally be open having no toilets for customers. Very bad service in the heart of camden, its 6 pm and aparently toilet is broken since the morning.

The wrong food was delivered. I got delivered Diet Coke and Swedish meatball hot wrap. I don’t even eat meat or drink coke. I ordered the kale cauli macaroni cheese, sea salt chips and almond croissant. I have a screenshot and picture of the order and what was delivered

I’m not sure I was impressed with this experience. The calcium content in the bottled water was unnecessarily high. Horrid taste. Nothing like the sweet Icelandic water I have grown accustomed to in my hometown of New York City. The mango passion fruit lime juice was a farce. It was watered down apple juice with a suggestion of mango and passion fruit. Heavy on the lime. I was however pleased to see that I was in the top 10 of the most attractive customers in the store.

This Branch of Pret has a lot of sitting space at the top floor. I tried Berry Bliss. The service was quick and nice.

As a visitor to the UK and London this as my second coffee from this store, my first and my last. The counter service person with orange dyed hair, white T Shirt was extremely short when I ordered 2 coffees, told me to collect them from the side table, then yelled out for me to collect them from the counter. When asked the simple question of where do I get sugar from, the high sigh and then vague comment “at the divider” had little relevance when I’d been in the store for 2 minutes. When asked again the response was blunt and rude, “it’s by the door” with a little shake of her head, all that was missing was the “der!” On the end. Not acceptable customer service standards. Note for management, why not have the sugars etc adjacent to where you collect coffees, you know like every other coffee shop in the world… der!

Marking this as a 1 because Pret have become totally opportunist with their pricing. Many things have pretty much doubled in price in the last 2 years. Must stop going here.

Unbelievable service, was very dirty place! All table was sticky. Second floor was closed. I please to use the toilet as a customer with a broken hand and pregnant THEY REFUSE access, there was not "out of order" singh anywhere too. If online said the place is closing 20pm why they started hoovering 19pm and all the dust and noise disturb everyone. How this is normal? Let me mention the salad I took was expired! I am so sorry that I chose this place.

Missing the Ham & Tomato croissant....

Very misleading menu, which deliberately leaves off all the iced drinks (presumably to avoid having to serve them). Then again, they also sometimes have no ice at all, so who knows what’s going on.

Didn’t let me use the disabled toilet because apparently using a wheelchair is the only disability that counts for staff….

It was very nice atmosphere while we were there in Camden Loch. I will go there again for sure.
