Caffe Nero in Camden

Andreas served us beautifully. He offered my wife a glass of water because she coughed. What a nice gentleman. Thanks Nero for hiring such wonderful staff. And the coffee was excellent too.

They are always out of ice and syrups to make cold drinks. Even if you go there Wednesday morning at 8 am.

A thick black hair floating in the stained milk jug and a chipped tea cup (chipped where you drink (if you're right-handed)) ruined the experience. Sweetened spray cream in the cream bun. A shame, I used to like Caffè Nero. If you're in Camden, go to Glass Coffee for a quality takeaway, or chill and watch the crowds from Philippe Conticini.

The place is very cold, there is no heating at all

Ordered a coffee which lacked any flavour or aroma. Service was extremely slow. The person taking your order is also the same person making your coffee, so it took a while to get our coffees with such a minor queue. On the bright side. it was nice and cosy inside with comfy lounge chairs.

popped in with a friend after work, and it’s 10/10, will definitely be back , all the staff is lovely and recommend going here for a lovely little hot drink or a snack, Kerens service is fantastic she’s so polite and gave such good recommendations to me and helped me with the area as I’m new, will be back !

Great place to have a coffee. It's a quiet place with plenty of seating available inside. However, it does close early, 6pm on weekdays. Toilets are always dirty and they only have one and there has always been a long wait to be able to use it. Most of the staff are friendly and polite and have a welcoming attitude. Have visited here several times.

as a regular customer, this morning I got a bad service , food a bit cold, not warm enough, coffee not as hot as usual, a new guy needs more good training, otherwise losing customers for sure!!!

Staff were quick, pleasant, and professional. Coffee was as expected, still the best large chain coffee in London. I have worked briefly out of this location several times and the location is mostly good for this. The music tends to be a tad loud at times. Will continue to visit this location.

Asked for decaff got normal caffeine coffee asked for oat milk got few drops and been told I have to pay extra for it.... customer service is joke never coming here again.

I recently visited the Camden Cafe Nero with high hopes for a pleasant coffee experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated with the overall service. I felt compelled to share my negative experience in this review, as I believe it is essential for potential customers to be aware of the issues I encountered. First and foremost, the female staff member who served us was exceptionally rude and lacked basic customer service skills. Her demeanor was unfriendly from the moment we approached the counter, and her dismissive attitude towards our requests was incredibly off-putting. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior in an establishment that should prioritize customer satisfaction. Furthermore, I was disappointed to discover that the staff neglected to offer cream with our drinks, which is a basic courtesy that one would expect from a cafe. Such oversight reflects poorly on the attention to detail and overall service standards of the establishment. It is disconcerting when even the simplest gestures of customer care are overlooked. Additionally, despite having previously enjoyed an iced chai latte at this particular Cafe Nero, we were told that they couldn't make it for us on this occasion. This inconsistency is baffling and raises questions about the cafe's ability to deliver a consistent menu. As a customer, it is frustrating to encounter such arbitrary limitations, especially when the requested item has been available before. In conclusion, my visit to the Camden Cafe Nero left me deeply dissatisfied. The rude and unhelpful attitude of the female staff member, the failure to offer cream with our drinks, and the refusal to prepare an iced chai latte despite having served it before were all significant disappointments. I expected better from a well-known chain like Cafe Nero. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes steps to improve their staff training and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend this particular location to fellow coffee enthusiasts seeking a pleasant and welcoming experience.

There are a lot of Caffe Neros in London - but not all of them have such friendly staff. Great stuff.

Cakes look great, well presented on the counter and a good choice with cakes and biscuits, as well as wrapped snacks like stroopwaffles. The play area was closed due to a leak and the staff behind the counter seemed fed up relaying the information on. Maybe a sign at the front of cafe could have helped?

The staff was nice, the coffee however not the best (although had worse too). Usually get coffee from another branch of this chain and the coffee tastes considerably better there. The interior looks lovely, it was fairly busy when I popped in just before midday, not many seats available so opted for a takeout.

Un moment de tranquillité au café NERO. La cuisine ..ben il n y en a pas réellement..sandwich ou croque manger sur le pouce .. gateaux et pâtisserie. Un très bon café macchiatto ou LATTE. Un personnel sympa, des toilettes , des petits fauteuils pour vous installer. Très bonne ambiance sereine. Par contre pas vraiment accessible aux handicapés à cause de des marchés pour y accéder. Merci à eux très bon boulot et rien à y envier au Starbucks !

I would just like to say that Rachel (ibelive her name is) did absolutely fantastic dealing with such a horrible woman today. That woman did not want to pay for her coffee and demanded a free one. Other customers did try to jump in but she was rude to them also. Rachel was working alone and stood up for herself. High five for refusing to serve her. Remember people like that are not worth it .

The reception was really great ! My family and I came for our breakfast sunday 17th, and the Man was so welcoming with us despite our underdansting of english ( we're french) so we decide to come back today. Their cake and bakery are really good ! Thank you !

Love this place. Such a nice ambience and so easy for me to study here. Equally, has a lovely atmosphere for chilling with friends and staff are great as well.

I have just been here and been served by the most friendly person with a lovely greeting. Fast service, smiley face, nice coffee and cosy place to enjoy your afternoon with a nice music station. Highly recommended.

It is a good place with good staff. Very close to the tube and bus station, handy for waiting or short stops. Seating area outside. Coffee needs a bit more work.

The coffee shop was fairly quiet. Member of staff was very friendly. I ordered a herbal tea and he asked if I wanted a large one instead as there was no extra charge. Have visited this Caffè Nero a few times. Have always had good or excellent service. And have had a couple of vegan cakes which have been nice. Plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors. Only downside is there is only one toilet on site and there can be a long wait sometimes for it.

Great pitstop while out doing chores and chasing lunch deals. Close to the tech shops, the market and the canal gives a glimpse of the zoo.

Great coffee shop, spacious interior with plenty of in store seating as well as a few outside tables. Tucked away in a quieter street, moments away from the Camden hustle bustle. Friendly staff, great tasting coffee. It was only slightly let down by the ridiculous placing of the soap dispenser in the toilet.

The guys at this Nero cafe are always very friendly and quite funny. I really like coming here in the morning for a nice hot coffee and some good vibes. 🙌🏻

You know that nero is quite good with their coffee. But i have to give one star this time especially for this branch because the staff was so rude yessterday to almost everyone. Dragging outdoor table steel post loudly while everyone still inside, locking the toilet even when lot of people asking, attitude when serving, and SMOKING at the entrance door!! (She’s actually holding the door so the smell is going inside)

Nice vibe, friendly staff and great coffee, so much better than the other chains. Unfortunately, the WiFi was pretty poor so had to leave to work elsewhere and no soap in the toilet.

Some of the staff here are really rude... the red haired girl on now at 3.06pm actually start talking about me in Italian whilst I was stood right in front of her on one occasion... not realising that I can understand Italian, clearly... in fact I’ve heard her talking about me to other staff members on multiple occasions literally as soon as I walk in the door... I held the door open for another one day she just gave me a dirty look and walked through without saying thank you... And today no please, no thank... just a cold, abrupt and unfriendly manner. Abrupt, rude, disinterested... basic customer service are beyond some of them...

The girl working behind the bar with glasses should look for another job immediately. She looks like she was forced to work, no basic customer service, forget about good manner, latte she made for me was awful. Have a look for another place with coffee but not there..

Buen ambiente. English té correcto. Limpieza en sanitarios espantosa. Imposible recomendar por tal falta de higiene. Lamentable imagen. Lavabo mixto hombres, niños, mujeres y personas con discapacidad física.

Pésima limpieza del baño. Lavabo común muy muy sucio. El café es correcto y la atención buena y rápida.

He intentado antes publicar una reseña de Caffe Nero en Parkway, Camden NW 1 recientemente sin éxito. ¡Espero que puedas darle a este café su propia entrada! Camden Town y la cercana Primrose Hill están llenas de cafés, pero este es el único lugar que sé donde puedo conseguir un buen americano negro con asientos cómodos, personal encantador y, si llego lo suficientemente temprano, ¡una copia de The Times!

El servicio rápido amigable habitual esperado de esta cadena. Sonriendo y amigable incluso cuando los clientes repugnantes abusan verbalmente de él. Estaba sentada disfrutando de mi piel del té de la lluvia, cuando un vil troll de una mujer había sido servida comenzó a abusar verbalmente del personal mientras estaba hablando por teléfono. No podría haber estado más equivocada, diciendo que el personal del café Nero fue grosero. Las sonrisas aún unidas a sus caras, se llenaron de brujas mientras ella salía de su café. Un bien hecho para ellos por no alcanzar su inmadurez.

El chocolate y el café en Londres lo prefiero mil veces antes que al de otras cadenas. Esta riquisimo y el local muy acogedor.

Really bad service from one of the waitress, she was rude to one of my friend, who where just a bit confused about the situation. This is the first time something like this happens to me in London, really bad experience. Uno de los peores servicios que he podido experimentar desde que vivo aqui. Una de las camareras trató de manera despectiva a dos de mis compañeros. No volvere a venir a este Nero seguramente. No lo recomiendo.

I went here with my dad on Bank Holiday Monday , seating area very good as got comfy seats . It was nice and quiet inside as not many people in. Nice air conditioning , shame they have to leave the door open as ruin a bit from the air con . Bit pricey £2.75 each for large Americano with pouring cream but I guess that is standard for coffee shops. Had a good visit with no disruption .
