Caffe Nero in Camden

Plenty of room to sit on the ground floor or mezzanine. There's a toilet. Must be busiest in the morning, and so, expect a queue then. There were quite a few people around 5.30pm, but most people had gone by 6pm. The barista was not rude and had a smile when dealing with customers. You can get all kinds of coffee (like cappuccino, latte, iced, etc.) and sweet treats (like cake, muffins or chocolate). One of the only coffee shops I frequent now simply because of their corporate ethics. Decent food and better coffee than others. Staff are a bit impersonal but I guess the queue was quite long on that particular day.

Queued for 5 mins to buy a bottle of water the girl working was all on her own which is not ideal at rush hour but also she had no sense of urgency. The main thing though is the toilet in here was absolutely foul, stinking, dirty, rubbish on the floor, overflowing sanitary bin. Grim grim grim.

Service is slow and not particularly friendly. Otherwise, it's a great place to chill out. It's conveniently located with seating downstairs, on the mezzanine, and outside at the front.

The oat cappuccino I asked for was excellent. The entire team was great but the team lead guy working this morning was doing all of it and then some, made the perfect cuppa. I'll be visiting more often!

Coffee frappe with half of it milk filled up. I guess they didnt havd enough ice but still made it available.

Great place for a quick bite and coffee and they are practically everywhere in London city. Best one is right beside Chancery lane station.

Some people at other tables are certainly unaware of their surroundings and are simple too noisy. I really did not want to hear another person's life history when trying to take in a great cappuccino.

We ordered a myriad of foods and drinks. The staff were very patient with us and let us sit upstairs for a bit even though they wanted to close up. Thankyou!

However, the drink she served me was only half-full, with excessive foam on the top. To address the situation, I politely approached the staff member who served me. I kindly explained that I had expected a whole coconut latte, as is standard practice in other coffee establishments. However, instead of addressing my concern professionally and courteously, the staff member became aggressive and dismissive of my complaint. As a customer, I believe in constructive feedback and ensuring that establishments maintain their quality and standards. It was disappointing to experience such an unprofessional response when bringing attention to an issue with my order. I value my experiences at Caffè Nero and have always appreciated the quality of your products. However, this incident has left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated with the service I received. I trust that you will address this matter appropriately and take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue thoroughly and provide me with a response as soon as possible. Good ambience. Best bacon ciabatta roll and freshly ground coffee. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. Disabled toilet on ground floor. Clean and tidy.

Very convenient spot right next to the underground station to get a quick drink or refreshments. There is also quite a lot of seats available.

As it was a hot day, the iced frappe was lovely. but I always find it too milky and sweet. I wish the can adjust the strength of the coffee. Hot coffee is easier, but Ice one are already mixed with milk.

The staff here are almost hilariously rude. Met with eye rolls, disdain and annoyance before we had even ordered anything. The stale cake (and refusal to acknowledge the stale cake) just helped to reinforce Caffe Nero’s position at the bottom of the coffee chains.

Staff is rude. When I was looking for a table, staff suddenly yelled at me and shouted "No no, don't sit there." I didn't know what was going on. Later, I realised that the table was reserved for staff but there was no sign.

the saddest coffee shop in London. staff always grumpy, never smiles, not even eye contact 🙄 charge quickly and rolls eyes when you ask to scan a stamp card via app....

Coffee was standard for Nero's. Staff were grumpy, no interaction, and rather a bit rude.....

Great coffee and brownie. Staff is always friendly and they have partnered with nectar loyalty card so you can pay for your coffee with your nectar points.

Staff not particularly friendly or engaging. "We don't accept cash" was the only conversation I was engaged in, no apology. Won't come here again

Great sitting arrangement and enjoyed working all day from the shop. The coffee and muffins were second to none in quality.

Hard to beat, polite staff good coffee, warm cosy pleasant

I went for a coffee today and, while the coffee was OK, the shop was dirty spills in the floor and tables. The food display looked grubby too. There were two people behind the counter. One was doing all the work and the other was supposed to be taking orders but was half heartedly fiddling about, drinking a coffee, eating, and talking ( it seemed to be to herself). I don't know if it was her break and she had to work through it because the shop was understaffed.

Ordered our drinks was served the coffee and hot chocolate in take away cups we wanted to have inside the shop. I asked for my tea in a proper cup, it was a small cup unlike other well know coffee shops it didn't come in a teapot! The shop had dirty tables and floors. I was going to get a bag of crisps when I noticed a drink had been spilt and had dried on the packets. The staff had no interest in serving or cleaning they were too busy drinking and chatting behind the counter! Picture is of small tea which was £2.30 and a very small hot chocolate!

I wish they'd serve Fairtrade coffee.

On every corner, we'd find a Caffe Nero. We appreciated their quick and kind service and their bathrooms.

Really dirty place, no masks, grimy tables, Really rude staff too. The guy serving me was actually taking the p**s out of my accent.

ATTENTION / WARNING !! RE Omicron and Corona Virus Advisiory. Rude Staff no face masks unhygienic at this establishment in chancery lane on the date and time I went in on my second visit. Haven't done a review in ages but please read this one. I have also raised complaint with Nero directly via telephone. Awaiting Responce. Well just as I entered this Nero yesterday for second time that day 30.12 and saw the coffee barista (Female, long blond hair) sneeze DIRECTLY over the coffee machiene whilst making a coffee for another customer at the time. I then saw the lady (Female, Short thin hair (Bob sytle) who later claimed she was the manager working the tills, turn around and laugh with her making an action like omg you sneezed over everything. Lasted about 10-15 seconds. The story goes I walked in, don't think they saw what I just saw which would of been also caught on their CCTV. I asked for a coffee. I was still processing what I had just witnessed and also noticed they did not have face masks on (both nero employees). After a few mins I changed my mind and asked that they cancel my order. They seemed confused. I went on to speak directly and address with with both the cashier manager lady and coffee barista and mentioned what i had whitnessed and stated that that was not right in light of the current pandemic and they continued to make the coffee after sneezing / coughing so this was mist definitely served to the customer at the time. Both of them when i raised my concerns just looked at me with expressions and smirk grin on their faces. The cashier lady who told me that she is the manager of the barista said to me " look we don't want an argument, if you don't want a coffee leave if not order one." This was my breaking point she also had embarrassed me in front of other customers by saying this to me and not taking seriously what i had just addressed and out forward to both of them for explination. It was their care free attitude to what I had raised which has prompted me to raise this. I wish there to be a full investigation and CCTV replayed on this day to show exactually what happened so they both do not get away with this. Thanks it for now.

In an area with a few other independent coffee shops, this is second rate. The quality varies and you never really know what you are going to get; drinks can be on point or not quite hot at all. The staff don’t really have a clear regime in place and it could be with better management to drive quality. Disengaged staff and I actually question their health and safety.

Nice branch. Quite a few branches on High Holborn. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Good service. The coffee and cake were delicious and needed on a Friday. Could be cleaner. Fast wifi. Would recommend otherwise.

Not that impressed with how early they close the upstairs. Doesn’t feel like a cafe you can relax in or get work done. There is a very strange seating arrangement upstairs as well. They have a bunch if chairs just lined up together. I have no idea why anyone would sit there.

Being a regular at Nero this was not a good experience. The cappuccino I ordered was not right, it was too strong. Not enough milk. (compared to my usual Nero) The barista (girl) was obviously disinterested in working here. Not one smile or acknowledgement for any of the customers and cold with all her interactions. Again not my usual Nero experience. Perhaps just a bad day for the barista and therefore for everyone else.

There are a few branches located on High Holborn. This appears to be the only branch open at present with the lockdown and pandemic. Obviously busy being one of the few coffee shops in the area that are serving customers. Take away only. Social distancing was fine. There was only one member of staff who did well to manage the long line efficiently. Pleasant. I had a weak black one shot americano and porridge with oat milk. Both were perfect and a nice breakfast on a cold morning. I had the porridge plain but there is a selection of toppings. I like the fact they serve the porridge throughout the day and you can customise the milk and toppings. What is also nice is that it is freshly made so it's piping hot and very comforting. Lovely selection of hot drinks, savoury items from soups and sandwiches to pastries, cakes and more. Limited range at present with the lockdown and opening hours are naturally reduced.

The best coffee in the area made by blond girl. Always polite, nice and professional! Would come here again and again even if it's quite far from my house because of outstanding service and amazing coffee quality. In general all the guys who are working there are nice. Highly recommend this place😊🥰

After having specifically asked for not too hot, is always too hot, that means you don’t even listen.

Coffee OK - but only one lavatory cubicle and neither soap nor running water to wash your hands afterwards; very glad I didn't eat anything there.

Perfect place for a quick bite. They have vegan options as well.

Recientemente comencé a visitar este Caffe Nero. Buen café, buena ubicación pero el servicio puede ser extraordinario. Un barista es hosco hasta el punto de ser grosero. Es tan obvio que las últimas 2 veces que terminé riéndome de su actitud con otras personas en la cola. Pero realmente es desalentador. Sin embargo, el aprendiz baritsa, que creo que es francés, es encantador.

The food was good but the staff wasn't very friendly and it took a long time to be served as it seemed to be just one person working in a Saturday afternoon.

Gran lugar después de ir de compras o quizás antes del teatro. Amplia y cómoda sala de estar, algunos asientos agradables y un buen ambiente. Ubicado muy cerca de la estación, muy bien ubicado. Un montón de aperitivos, pasteles y sándwiches si te apetece un aperitivo y, por supuesto, buenas bebidas. Lo único fue que estuvimos allí al final de la tarde y solo había un servidor, así que el servicio fue un poco lento, pero cuando llegó la bebida fue bueno.

The coffee and environment were excellent, apart from a staff (tall and slim with earrings) who I asked nicely and politely to help me clear a table upstairs that all the table were busy of trays and cups. The reply I have received was "when will have time that I am busy with other customers" in a rude way and I do not want to add the tune I have been given and nevertheless I was not a customer for him that I just spent almost £12 to be treated like that. I did not want to overload him with more duties, all he could have said to me was "I will be right there in a moment rather than being rude". No one arrived to assist the upstairs area to clear the dirty cups. There were others customers wanted to sit in as the could not find a clear table. That is the reason I am given 2 stars as this chap made it difficult to speak to. This staff should learn how to deal with a customer in a polite way.

Fast service but grumpy staff. Cappuccino, flat white and espresso are not that great. Common taste note: burnt coffee!

It was good. It is a small cafe and it did not have much choice. Quite cramped inside and directly on busy polluted road. Now the positives: it near the tube station access, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Considering we visited on a Saturday late PM staff were still very helpful despite probably being very tired. What we ordered was nice and good price. My child was happy with the choice and break time from walking. The place was clean. Thank you.

Stopped for quick breakfast with family. Cappuccinos are ok and food is ok. Restaurant needs some cleaning.
