Our wedding cake looked beautiful and we had lots of comments that it was delicious. Tom at Well Walk was great in the run up and provided three different flavours and enough for 140 guests. The cake was delivered and installed for us on the day. I would definitely recommend working with Well Walk for wedding cakes.

I contacted Well Walk Tea Room last week to see if they could arrange a surprise afternoon tea delivery for my Mum and Sister who are staying in Winchcombe for the week on holiday. I spoke to Tom via email and he was really helpful and friendly! He delivered the afternoon tea this morning and my Mum and sister are very excited to enjoy all of the yummy treats this afternoon in the sun! They’ve sent me photos and it has arrived nicely packaged and all looks lovely. Next time I am in Winchcombe, I will definitely be ordering an afternoon tea delivery from Tom 😊

We had a delightful “Well Walk Afternoon Tea”. Staff were very attentive. The food was abundant (and delicious!) and the “unlimited house tea” kept flowing! Well worth a visit. As we pre-booked early, they gave us the best table - upstairs in the bay window.

Booking at 3pm on a Saturday. Lovely home made cakes included in the afternoon tea. Especially the Victoria sponge. Vegetarian option available for the sandwich fillings. Pasta on the menu had run out. Disappointed teenager. The interior is very quaint, love the mis matched tea pots, cups and saucers. Great concept for a typical English afternoon tea. But the restaurant needs a good clean, smelt very dusty which isn’t a pleasant environment to eat and drink. Chairs uncomfortable and grubby. Service ok, not exceptional. Wouldn’t rush to go back unfortunately as the idea is a great one. What a shame.....

Just enjoyed afternoon tea at Well Walk Tea Room. Decided to go for the ‘Gentleman’s Tea’ as a change to the normal ‘Afternoon Tea’. Lovely and amazing value at just £16.95 per person. The Tea Room’s decor is brilliant and adds to the whole occasion, as do the very pleasant staff. There is an upstairs room as well and I would advise pre-booking to avoid disappointment (although they were able to accommodate an uncooked table of four whilst we were dining). Limitless tea or coffee of your choice.......the Gentleman’s Tea was an extraordinary meal, loved it......Pork pie, scotch egg, ham, beef, numerous cheeses, crackers, bread buns, pickles, salad and, scones, jam, cream and fresh fruit.. Well done and those other patrons appeared to be very satisfied with their own hearty standard Cream Teas..... Thoroughly recommend the establishment....

I had a wonderfully happy birthday visit to Well Walk Tea Room yesterday. The display of cakes and array of sandwiches was wonderful. The Tea room itself was very cosy with many pretty items of China, memorabilia, and jewellery. These are on display and are on sale at the same time. Seth served us and made us smile. Well worth a visit. It is apparently the oldest shop in Cheltenham... Pauline

We were staying in Cirencester and wanted have a cream tea. I googled “best cream teas in the Cotswolds” and picked out the Well Walk Tea Room from the long list that popped up. We were both delighted with our food. They had Darjeeling tea - we do not usually find that in cafes. We both had sandwiches and they were amazing. The bread was fabulous and the fillings delicious. The piece de resistance though was the scones with jam and clotted cream and fresh strawberries. We have had lots of cream teas over the years and can safely say that these scones were perfect. They were light and tasty. The jams were great and we have never had such an ample supply of clotted cream. We will definitely be returning to Well Walk Tea Room any time we are near Cheltenham.

What a lovely little place. Tucked away from the busy town centre, with a cosy and quirky vibe. Staff were very pleasant and attentive, and the afternoon tea was delicious - two large plates of fresh sandwiches; 4 soft, warm scones with plenty of jam and clotted cream, macarons, and a mountain of cake! The food was faultless, and we were even given boxes to take our leftovers home. The surprise birthday cake was also a nice touch. Overall a great experience.

Just back from a delectable evening of puddings at the tea room. I cannot compliment this enough. Everybody I had contact with could not do enough for you. Service was incredible. The gentleman on the phone reassured me that there would be plenty of gluten free options(there were loads) and was extremely helpful. The waitresses were so nice and couldn't do enough for you. The board listing all the puddings on offer is displayed in the dining room and you choose one pudding and when you have finished they ask for your next choice and so on. We had a huge cafetière of coffee and once you are truly stuffed, a plate of cheese and biscuits is served. I would recommend this to anyone. To have this choice of puddings being gluten free was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

My companion and I, with many a guest, have been back and back to Well Walk, for if it's tranquillity one is after, in a delightful setting with courteous service to dispense some of the best tea and cakes for miles, this is the place for us, and could be so for you. Tucked away in a quiet corner near Cheltenham's mediaeval Minster, the Well Walk Tea Room is an absolute joy. If it wasn't enough that the food is of outstanding quality and the service so dependable, the setting itself doubles one's enjoyment, a joy to the eye, with antique pottery, curios, wall hangings and paintings, many for sale. This a place for both young and old, the latter to remember what the world was once like, and the former to dream that it could be so again.

Excellent venue for an afternoon tea with my elderly parents and 20 year old niece visiting from the USA. We pre-booked afternoon tea for 4 and ended up having the upstairs to ourselves which which was a bit of a treat. Great “proper” sandwiches - not tiny squares - and they took into account my request for no fish and did a lovely selection for us. Fantastic light scones and a wide selection of cakes and little patisserie Items. They even encourage you to take home anything you can’t eat and provide boxes. The tea shop itself is old fashioned and quirky - charming mixed crockery, haphazard furniture and antique decor. Lovely place.

A very nice afternoon tea to celebrate my mum's 60th. Tom was helpful and friendly. Staff were also friendly but not seen very often when we required new pots of coffee etc. The sandwiches were very nice and catered for dietry requirements. The cake pile was well presented and tasty but for a group of 6 there needed to be a few more sandwiches or cakes. I did book a royal afternoon tea for mum which i don't think occured but was no problem, just hope we weren't charged for one. The venue is historic and the whole experience was excellent. My mum was very happy. A few points to note but still a 5 star experience.

Treated to an afternoon tea as a retirement gift. What a gift, this was a superb place, quaint, quirky and very olde worldly. The sandwiches were lovely a lot more than we expected ( having had an afternoon tea at a 4 star Hotel in Down Hatherley which did not come anywhere near the excellence of this tea ).When the cakes appeared I think both my husband's and my jaw dropped. How were we ever going to eat them all. We did but I have never felt so full. The Carrot Cake was also gluten-free and as our grand-daughter is a coeliac this handy to know. We simply had to write and say what a fabulous birthday tea we enjoyed in your cafe last week .. The staff were so helpful in setting up the table on my behalf .. I bought some bits n pieces in for the table and you very kindly added some additional decorations. One of my friends is gluten n dairy free. You provided her with a fabulous choice of sandwiches n cakes. If you put our two cake stands together you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. The sandwiches had a number of lovely fillings. The scones n cakes/macaroons were to die for all beautifully presented, I thought the edible gold leaf and the little buscuit crowns was a lovely touch. We are big tea drinkers and it was served in endless amounts. The staff were so attentive and polite... All that remains to say is a big thank you .. and we'll be back again soon x

Tucked away, very close to Cheltenham Minster, we enjoyed afternoon tea. A cosy, friendly little place. Good service, very quaint.

We were given a voucher for afternoon tea, we selected a cream tea the scones were warm there was plenty of jam and cream. It is an" olde worlde" atmosphere and setting Victoriana. Service was attentive it was a most enjoyable experience. I watched another couple having an afternoon tea which looked very complete!

Having previously visited and not had as good experience as usual, Tom emailed me to offer myself and my family a complimentary afternoon tea to rectify. We visited today and it was fabulous, everyone who served us was polite and helpful. We brought our 3 year old and 6 month old and the staff were so accommodating helping me with the pram.

We were disappointed with our visit last week. The cafe appeared to be mostly empty but we were straight away told our table was booked in an hour, and would we be gone by then?

We had a lovely family birthday afternoon tea for three here. As you can see by the photos the food was tremendous - we really enjoyed it. The service was great too and I would heartily recommend a visit. :)

Went with a few friends for some scones, cakes and tea. And we were not disappointed. Fresh scones and tasty cakes. With jam and cream. Tea served in dainty little teapots. And the staff were just ever so nice. Will definitely be coming back!

This tea room is well worth a visit, staff were very welcoming and we were seated at a table for two. The tea room itself is so adorable.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Friendly and welcoming staff. Large portions of cake so my top tip is to order a diet coke rather than the full fat version so that you can fit more in!

Have wanted to visit this tea room for a while but have never got round to it. My husband and i decided to have a late lunch here, i had the soup and bread which was really nice and my husband had the ploughmans, oh wow it was huge and he enjoyed it. Nice staff, table upstairs and down, lovely quirky old building with reasonable prices and a nice selection, especially cakes !

Stopped in for coffees with family. Nice cosy cafe selling great coffee. Parking wasn’t ideal. But other than that we had all enjoyed calling in. Very clean and friendly. They also had outdoor seating at back of cafe

A step back in time to a fantastic pub with candles on the table. Ambience galore. Didn’t eat there but have plans to in the near future. Update: Went back to try the food, but didn't get to eat. The place was empty apart from two regulars and freezing cold. The room temperature matched the frosty and passive aggressive reception from the barmaid. Shame.
