The food at Wei Dao is consistently fantastic! I’m never disappointed. Their Singapore Vermicelli is always delicious and packed with flavor!

Fine for usual chinese menu, lacks better drinks selection especially decaff /herbal. Ok for the money. Plus on waitresses friendly and helpful manner.

What a lovely Chinese restaurant? We ordered Chicken fried rice and wok noodles with veg which was lovely, fresh and delicious. Worth try wonton soup which is probably best in London. Service was excellent. Definitely coming back again.

Really enjoyed the food, the portions are huge. They offer a lunch deal which is priced well. The staff are extremely friendly. Would recommend eating here if you are visiting Croydon.

I'd walked by wei dao many times but never gave it two thoughts until I entered one Sunday because I was hungry. I didn't expect much, but I was blown away. Everything I had was super tasty right from the starter Platter to the mains, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plum wine was refreshing as well. I will go again

Ordered a takeaway from Uber eat, and considering we had a 40% promotion, we still paid £24 for 2 sweet sour chicken, 2 plain chow mein, 1 sweet sour sauce + crackers... Plain and so tasteless Chinese that I, myself not being Chinese can cook it better 100%. Noodles OOOOVERCOOKED that they became a kids pasta, as they were a inch per piece as so overcooked it was all broken in pieces, chicken was so soggy and the sauce so watered down not even one bit sour. Disappointed to say the list, and I'm not one to give bad reviews but this shop really needs to do something because it's a rip off ...

Order a Singapore rice we're on web see the menu shows prices £7,95.. them charge £9,95 only one plate rice ASHAMED!!! it was test good but very dry e tick... I will never back in this place

Takeaway: portion sizes were disappointing. Aromatic duck was half of a quarter, and rice was half the expected size; even if it tasted good.

Very delicious food. I haven’t been home for 20 years. This place gives me a taste of home. The waiters are very friendly and care about the needs and feelings of the diners. A friend recommended this place. As soon as you enter, there is a take-out milk tea shop window. , the overall style design is very impressive. There are several small tables as you walk in, which are clean and simple. The first time I got the menu, I was amazed. The rows are very eye-catching. You can see the photos and order at a glance. It's braised pork rice. The soup is fresh and delicious, and the meat melts in your mouth. It's very delicious when paired with rice. The fried chicken wings are very crispy and juicy, and the waiter very considerately put the sauce aside. All in all, it's a very delicious restaurant. I will definitely come to this store with good service in the future.

I used to eat here 1-2 times a month, but the quality and taste reduced a lot in recent months. I don’t want to come back.

Last night, we went for my sons birthday. Food fantastic, would recommend Teriyaki ribs, honey chicken wings , peking duck, mixed seafood Thai red curry. But all the food was of a excellent standard. Highly recommended

Went for dinner, the food is really good here, especially the crispy chilli beef. Was quite as we booked an early table as we had a little one with us. This meant service was good, even if if they were dealing with lots of take-away / deliveries. Some of the benches are worn but seating is comfy.

I dumpling 🥟 Good l. The food is very spicy and spicy. Not much to my liking. Spring rolls or with very dry vegetables inside. I would like to go back and try something different. I’ve seen other more appetising dishes. Very good and efficient service. Thank you

We went for lunch at this restaurant, very nice duck noodle soup and choi sum, Very good service too. We would definitely return.

I ordered the house special fried rice which consisted of shrimps, chicken and pork chops, it was really tasty and the portion was huge. Also, the price of the food is decent, so was the service. The only improvement I’d recommend is the presentation of the food. I didn’t have enough time to take enough pictures but I’ll definitely be revisiting again. I ordered a special rice but it didn't have any taste and was dry.

Tried this place for the first time and it lives up to its name (Wei Dao = big taste). Had the seafood starter - lots of crispy squid, prawns, sesame prawn toast and a soft shell crab. A big plateful for two. Then the mixed seafood udon and the mixed meat fried rice. Again, big helpings and tasty. With Chinese tea it came to less than £45. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was excellent. The service was very good. Unfortunately, the state of the toilets was appalling.

Honest, friendly and lovely staff. My dad, daughter and I went for lunch to treat my dad on his birthday. My daughter ordered her dishes. And then I ordered for my dad and I, I then asked my dad if he would like anything else. The staff said I think that’s a lot there’s no need to order anything more. She was correct as we couldn’t finish it all had to take 4 containers home. Absolutely delicious and will definitely go there from now on. My dad said he hasn’t had a tasty Chinese like this for years! So he was very happy!

Have always ordered here for Chinese food, their food is amazing and never lets u down. I love their chicken wings and they are so prompt with delivery and the food is always hot, a must try for everyone

Ma-Po tofu came with with no meat. It is supposed to have ground beef (not my first time eating it) and Deliveroo specifies that it has meat too. What arrived instead, was just some overpriced tofu in a sauce. Like literally; just tofu - not even a vegetable added in there to jazz things up. Incredibly disappointing, The reviews made this place sound as if it was going to be good, but honestly, it was rubbish and I miss Miso. The response from the owner is embarrassing.

I've been living in the area now for 18 months and have passed this place a few times, decided to pop in for lunch today and was highly impressed with the menu, proces and service. Lunch menu was well priced for a decent starter and main. Food was served fresh and tasted very nice. Our server was very polite and attentive also. I will be back.

I’m shocked at the amount of positive reviews this place has. The positive reviews played a huge part in me ordering from here. That, and the fact the menu sounds appetising. The food was terrible. I was so disappointed. I love East and South East Asian food but I couldn’t even finish this wonton soup. The blandness, the lack of quality ingredients… it was unpleasant. On top of which, the soup packaging was not fit for purpose. Most of the soup ended up spilling into the flimsy plastic bag it was being carried in. The char sui buns were better than the soup but I’ve had tastier char sui elsewhere.

Clean, easy and relaxed. Menu caters for all. The Wonton Noddle soup is one of the best I have tasted, large wonton parcels, fresh vegs, noddles cooked perfectly..

Restaurant does not look so good from outside but food is very good with good quality ingredients. Very friendly and fast service. Recommended.

Luv, luv, luv, this place since 2007. Their Singapore Vermicelli noodles are to die for.... Great fresh produce used. The meal is always hot and well prepped. Top Marks Ladies👍🏽

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Croydon, used to love it when it was called Miso and love it even more now that it is Wei Dao. I generally have lunch there once a week, their lunch menu is really great and I strongly suggest the salt and chilly squids as a started as they are very good and not chewy at all. The Staff is friendly and attentive and really enjoy eating there.

One of the best Chinese (South East Asian) restaurants in town. They make Malaysian as well, fantastic Laksa soup! Also the beef with broccoli, egg fried rice is fantastic. Wait time is small, presentation is good 👍 Highly recommend a visit if your into South East Asian food.

Best satay sauce iv had in years, full star rating from me!! Could eat the satay sauce by itself.

I have always ordered the Takara Plum Wine. One glass of wine (250ml) was more than enough to make me very merry on a full stomach so I decided to purchase a bottle of the wine to take home. I was into my 2nd glass and no merriment only to realise that it contains only 10% Vol Acl.....so what they serve in the restaurant is not the same wine in the bottle. For that deception I won't go back even though the food is nice

We ordered 3 Singapore fried rice, prawn crackers and soup. It’s the worst fried rice I have ever had at a Chinese. The type of rice used itself was something different to what normal used in restaurants. the rice had no flavour, worse it actually had a slight bitter taste to it, there was hardly any meat on normal Singapore fried rice. Veg fried rice had lots of veg but again no flavour. The prawcracker was £1.99, it was a tiny pack. The quality of food, taste was really bad and the food was overpriced. Every disappointing!

I have eaten here from their lunch menu which was nice. Ordered take away for the first time having finished work late and exhausted and the food is awful and tasteless. Neither me or my son can eat it I actually want my money back, it really deserves a zero

Probably the freshest Chinese I've ever had. I've ordered crispy shredded beef, crispy seaweed and egg rice and every single one of these dishes were super fresh. Will be ordering from here and only here from now on when I'm craving Chinese! 🥰 Hopefully it wasn't just a first time luck 🤞

Tonight I tried this restaurant for the first time as I have been disappointed by my other regular Chinese shops.I am very happy to say the food was the best quality and ingredients that l have eaten in over 20 years.l was beginning to wonder if I would ever find quality food again as some eateries don't care what slop they dish up.l would recommend this restaurant to everyone even if you ain't into Chinese once you've eaten there food you will be a convinced to convert.

Great find a little way from the main Croydon shopping area. Stunning quality teriyaki ribs and roast duck with noodles. The lunch menu is exceptional value. Service was efficient, unobtrusive, and warmly friendly. Well worth the short walk from George Street.

I have been here before before lock down and their food was great… when my sister ordered via deliveroo last week the vegetarian dishes were really good but the stir fry prawn and crispy squid dish was not that great (maybe it was a one off I guess) having said that it’s a nice place to eat in.

We live around the corner and order once a month or so - always great food prepared quickly, at great value, and really pleasant service from the team here. I’d recommend the duck in pancakes and the Kung Po main!

Really good quality food and experience, local to my friends apartment. Laksa was absolutely amazing and so filling its deffo my go to dish, Chilli Garlic Prawns were juicy and packed with flavour. Crispy Shredded Chicken was okay it was too sweet for my liking and Singapore Fried Rice was very good. Food was amazing only issue when collecting it was very busy and understandly but they also forgot to add the Prawns to our order. But we called up and they had it ready for us to go and collect it.

Love the dim sum here...and reasonably priced. The starter platter is lovely as well. Just had a collection take out from here during lockdown (March) and the lady taking orders was very friendly, happy and hospitable. Food was delicious and fresh.

I don't know if it was the chef's night off, but nothing we ordered had any taste, other than the taste of stale oil!! The boiled rice was in a sticky clump, both starters tasted as if the oil they were cooked in was out of date, my vegetables were soggy and the tofu was like a boiled sponge. So disappointing and definitely not worth the money!

Ate here a few times and the food is always delicious, fresh and great value for money. My most recent order was the katsu curry and although it was very tasty, the dish could do with a bit more katsu sauce.

No communication after numerous attempts! Food didn't even turn up. Then i recieved an email almost 2 hours later saying the order was cancelled. A complete waste of time!

So they take off the 79p delivery charge and add on a £3 odd service charge. On a home delivery? Is the driver coming in to put it on a plate for me and lay out the table? won't be ordering again.

The dim sum alone is worth visiting this place for. To be honest everything I have tried is amazing. A little hidden gem in Croydon. It’s nothing fancy but that is the beauty of this place. Great food no gimmicks.

Only ordered vegetarian chips and plain noodles and both were horrible. Chips are dry and have zero flavour, not even salt on. Noodles are absolutely disgusting, a burnt taste, no flavour and horrible after taste. Only positive was fast delivery.
