Costa Coffee in Croydon

I was served by the Laura couldn't be happier with the service.

Definitely my favourite Costa coffee. The staff are so friendly and helpful and things are never too much trouble for them ( unlike the branch on the high street, Brighton road Purley) Food is good and plenty to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.

This Costa Coffee outlet is inside the Tesci supermarket, on the upper level behind the clothes. It has a reasonably large seating area and is fairly quiet, though I did not see the usyal range of sandwiches and panini that are normally available in Costa outlets.

Nice costa coffee in the upper level of Tescos past all the clothes and home goods. There’s a large seating area and toilets. All the usual costa coffees and cakes and toasties. Friendly and efficient staff.

Regular pitstop whilst shopping at Tesco. Ordered the usual latte but also tried to order the Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate. I was promptly told they have no maple. A bit disappointed as all three screens promote it and they don't have it

Just Costa inside and Costa packed items, if you walk in expecting a full cafe cafe, well sorry, search elsewhere

Horrible coffee just like the service. Check for a better local cafe rather than this place.

NO REGARD for customers in this store: I placed an order on the app at Tesco Costa store in Purley. I went to collect my order and was told by the store manager Edyta that I could not receive my order due to a store system issue and it not showing on her system. So despite paying I didn’t get my order. The store manager was incredibly unhelpful and didn’t help us resolve it and said I needed to contact customer services, showing no care to resulte the problem and serve the drink I had paid for. This is now the second time this has happened in this store, with the first time being a month and half ago. I left the store with a very sour taste of Costa’s service and as someone who regularly purchases from Costa this really disappointing.

Staffs are extremely impolite, I came at 16:02, and the staff member rudely tell us they are closed but it is only 16:02. (Sunday 15, May)

I enjoyed the environment and taste of my Americano

The staff are friendly and asked if everything was okay. I ordered an Americano coffee and all butter crosant the coffee was free as I had a reward on the Costa card. Overall a clean pleasant experience

Great Costa place because they have great customer service always friendly to the customers and the drinks are always great. People should go there more often it was a really nice place.

I was asked to add track and trace by barrista Jo (woman) and I said I do not have the track and trace app due to only just receiving a new phone. I said she could make a note of my details. Jo asked me what size of coffee I wanted and I told her regular but she did not understand me so asked another 4 times in total. I was not asked about track and trace again, I hung around waiting for my toastie and coffee which I then took to a table and began eating. Around 8 minutes into my toastie I was stood over by Jo who said I had to give her my details now, I asked that I finish eating as I had been driving a bus all morning and had been up since 4am, I was hungry. She said no. I said please, let me just finish and I will come over, Jo took a step back and said "I will wait here until you finish." I was absolutely humiliated as the restaurant had around 10 people who by now we're watching, I put down my toastie and entered my details via the app which I downloaded onto my phone there and then. The treatment I received today was awful, needless to say both Coffee and Toastie were left unfinished.

It was decent place to sit down and have coffee before or after shopping or takeway so you can have your coffee while shopping.

Discovered this branch of Costa Coffee on a recent visit to TESCO, the coffee shop is hidden behind the clothes section which is why I missed it on the last visit. The drinks were the usual but I liked the new Spring gift set which comes with a bamboo cup thing.

Great service and food is lovely. I highly recommend everyone to checking out the app Too Good To Go.

Poor system. They were a little busy, took my order and I said I was going to toilet. Came back and the guy Ervis was getting angry as no one was owning up to my order. Said it's difficult if customers aren't there as they don't know what they have ordered. Clearly not a good system if you have to repeat it twice, and they got my order wrong too.

Great to just chill and do your shopping

Went there today Saturday, bought 2 coffees for almost £6.00, machine to give points broken, machine to give receipts broken. Staff could not give any form of receipt to enable me to claim Costa reward points.

Considering how busy the staff are they nearly always remember my complicated orders and most mornings they have a smile for me ... nice start to the day !

It is a costa. There is a man who works here who loves to Palm your lid on your coffee. Really hygienic 👍

I keep on telling you it's not a Tesco's Cafe anymore. It's a Costa, look at the pictures I'm supplying.

Great place to relax and have a conversation with friends when you are out doing shopping.

Friendly staff Laura is great at the front off house very helpful and smilely the parking is brillant much better than my first visit when the whole place was shut:)
