the last review i wrote i forgot to read again, as it hasn't changed , THE CURRIES ARE STILL HORRIBLY WATERY ! My son ordered a chicken Korma and I ordered a prawn Korma , and we both had coconut rice, both curries were swimming in water , and neither curry looked like a curry , the colour was far too pale , - mine tasted ok, i wasn't that well , so to be fair my view isnt good, My son said his tummy was bad the next day , he ordered a chicken korma , and so we wont be using this take away again - its been horribly grim since 2020 - my advice is STAY AWAY

My go to Indian takeaway. Absolutely love it. The chicken curry and lamb tikka are to die for.

Used Masala for the first time via Just Eat and must say I was very impressed. Will try them next time to see if they are consistent and if they are, will likely become my go to for Indian food delivered.

Brilliant food always polite on the phone & if there ever late for any reason even though it’s not there thought they sort you out next time you order. Never had a bad meal from this place would recommend if every time haven’t put any stars for atmosphere as I’ve never physically been in the place it self.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Bhajis tasted old and stale and everything was soaked in oil. Vile.

Popped in here randomly as they had a 5 star health rating... I was kindly greeted. The food was beautiful, very tasty well cooked and good blend of flavours. It was cooked with skill an passion. I would return but was only passing. Many thanks much enjoyed

Just had our 1st take away from here and I have to say very impressed, lovely delivery driver and food was piping hot. Very good portion sizes, chicken curries were succulent not at all dry, overall great taste. Reasonable price very tasty will order again. Thank you x

Chicken Biriani ...it was like a mixed fried rice with shredded chicken and the taste is not at all any Indian flavour. Very bad taste ,definitely a place to avoid.

I ordered here for the first time today and the food was fresh with an open kitchen and friendly customer service. Chicken curry vindaloo was spot on and the nan bread was great with two meat samosas. I look forward to trying more of the menu

Simply the best Indian takeaway ever. Fantastic food, fantastic staff, brilliant delivery driver. 10 out of 10 for me always iv been using Mazala for 10 years now. Never have I been disappointed . Well done 👏

Great food and friendly service

Food was terrible, mixed veg parathas & chapatis bought are not edible and I don't think any human can eat these shown in the picture and mushroom rice is even awful, we had stomach upset for whole week{between 2/23/2022 to 2/26/2022}, worst place ever been in such place in the UK. Hope you guys improve and serve better food which human can eat.

It is 100% the best Indian in Croydon. Ok they are not fast when it comes to getting your food to you but once you do get it it’s so nice . I wish it was they can deliver to my new house in Sussex

Really tasty curries and good price.

Ordered a chicken biryani which when reheated a few hours later stank up the whole house. Definitely not fresh ingredients used in the cooking. You cannot hide old rice by putting spices in it. Do not purchase unless you want an upset tummy.

Good food at a fair decent price (portions are massive) and a decent service every time..cant go wrong

Naan breads were overcooked and felt/tasted as though they had been sitting for some time. Ordered 3 curries, all of which were very watery. Poppadoms and rice were lovely though. I opted to pay upon collection and was charged an extra 50p for card payment, which is now illegal. Overall, don't think I will return.

Err on the desk in restaurant it states 5 star hygiene! But latest is 3 stars, very deceiving :( 3 stars 16th November 2020 Absolutely appalling to do this.

Ordered over the phone collected 20 minutes later food was amazing proper old school food very reasonable prices big portions I thought the vegetable curry with the biryani I ordered was one of the best I have ever tried as was the sag paneer I ordered .Can't wait to order again full marks to the chef and very friendly people excellent!!!!

Our favourite take away in the area! So lucky to have it on our doorstep. Lovely customer service, delicious food with the right level of spice. Both meat and veggie dishes are spot on! Particular favourites are the lamb madras and muttar paneer. The food itself is very well presented and packed nicely, and always delivered with a smile!

My girlfriend and I have moved to East Croydon 3 months ago and we were searching for a good takeaway curry place and unfortunately came up up to a lot of disappointment. This place has been our our saving grace and is our go to now for takeaway curry! Really good and we hope to visit the restaurant at some point :)

Very nice and clean, food served nice in paper bag and takeaway boxes, sadly we ate it too quickly to take pictures of the food :) next time ! Gustavo below (flagged) you must have the wrong place, as Mazala doesn't have waiters and isn't a eat in restaurant.

This was a home delivery of Saag Paneer £2.90, Prawn Puree £2.65 and Salmon Tikka £3.50. Saag Paneer is one of my fav dishes and Prwn puree is the other when it comes to Asian/Indian food and these items from this estabilshment were perfect. Very little oil, very flavorsome, very good portion size,the delivery was good and on time, friendly, smiling delivery man. My gripe was with the salmon...i know it was a starter but 4 and a half small bite-size pieces of grilled salmon laying on the bottom of a container half filled with greasy onions was deeply disappointing. So generally if the rest of their menu is like the my first two items then i believe you are in for a treat.

Really tasty freshly cooked food from Mazala. Being going here for 15 years or so. Loving their king prawn, salmon and sag pannier dishes. Usually did pick up, and staff would always go the extra mile.

This was our first meal in The UK and it's easily the best Indian food we've ever had. Honestly we'll probably go again before we leave town.

order#749122381 - take away ordered through just eat to the Mzala take away. The order was short 1 x garlic bread. Advised just eat. Seems they just credit your account on the next order. Mazala should be made to fulfil the order / missing items correctly. Unfortuately we did not serve the food straight away - the delivery person had already left .

Ordered a Jalfreizi , a dish I have had many times at other restaurants, this was hotter than a Phall and had absolutely NO tomatoe! way too hot , was inedible

Salmon tikka starter is absolutely the best! Take there time when delivery as they do cook from fresh is pretty good

Bland ordered wings. Came as drum sticks to be told there's more chicken on the leg! Erm I ordered wings. Asked for curry to be bit more spicy tbh pataks curry jars got more spice first and last time. And to think this was recommended to me
