Weddingtons Fish & Chips in Nuneaton and Bedworth

This has to be the best place for Fish and Chips the batter is nice and crisp the chips cooked properly.For £5.10 the mini fish and chips is a good value meal.

The first time I have been. The fish and chips were delicious

Gone downhill since I last went - think it has changed owners. People are nice enough but unfortunately the food doesn't follow suit. Absolutely zero flavour and the large fish was like biting into leather.

The batter on the fish was perfect and the chips were lovely.

The slowest serving chip shop ever, after 20mins in the queue which didn't move I went up to hoarsetone Grange chip shop, despite there still being a small queue I was served within minutes of arriving, well done hoarsetone Grange

We ordered 2 large fish, they were very small. What is the size of small fish finger size. Very disappointed.

The curry sauce was A1, the chips were slightly soggy but tasty, and the fish was somewhat bland. Great prices, though.

I ordered the large fish and chips in a large tray with peas and luckily I ordered a large peas on top of the peas I was supposed to get because if not I would have been eating my fish and chips dry due to the fact that they didn't put my peas in the bag that was supposed to be a part of my meal

best chicken burger around best curry sauce and gravy just wish the battered chips were available mire often as they are top notch

I finally found a chippy in Nuneaton that serves meat that isn't like tinned dog food. Amazing kebab meat, chips delicious and sausage in batter perfect. thank you for actually reading my order notes too. Definitely ordering again!

Waited too long to get served because the chip shop is busy preparing “just eat” customers,waited 20 mins and went to another chip shop.

This chippy has gone down in quality and service lately. It used to be a good choice. Now when you go in all they are interested in doing is the online orders. You have to order everything to be cooked while you wait, and you have to wait a while. And who is the old man who is always in there just sitting on the stool watching what's going on!!. He's a bit creepy !

Very efficient and food still hot

Haddock batter was very hard and greasy. my husband ate it as he had no choice, but said he wouldn't order it again. I had mini fish and chips which I had before and enjoyed. However this time the fish was full of bones and I ended up throwing it away and just ate the chips and peas which were in the meal. Very disappointed 😞☹️

No sauce on the kebab. Ordered extra pot of sauce answell which didn’t come. Was supposed to be a large kebab meat and chips, hardly any meat. For nearly £7 would expect more meat. Was more like a small portion in a large box it was only half full

Really disappointed. Babysitting my Grandchildren and my daughter recommended this fish and chip shop. Ordered two fish and chips, one with curry sauce and one with beans. Fish wasn’t great and covered in way too much batter. Chips were ok and very small portion of beans and curry sauce. At £8.50 a meal I expected better.

Fish and chips, value for money! There is nothis special about food itself but okey. Service is quick. There is ample parking in the front.

First time I have ordered from here it's lovely , especially in the box so the fish didn't get stuck , big bit of fish plenty of chips .

Wow!!! What a chip shop this is!! It is absolutely delicious and your get massive portions and they don't charge half as much as rubbish chip shops!! And may I add.....they have come up with their own take on chicken strips....their chicken strips are coating in their fish batter....you cannot tell me that isn't genius!!!! Go check them out...you won't regret it😁😁

either the curry sauce or the fish had a chemical taste to it, it could have been the residue on the plastic container the curry sauce came in.

Half my order was missing rang the chip shop only to be told they have no drivers if i want my missing items im to collect it myself

I placed an order through just eat when it arrived half of my order was missing I rang the chip shop they told me they haven't got any drivers if I wanted my missing itmes then I'd have to go and collect it myself the staff was very rude on the phone and not very helpful at all

Absolutely delicious food,piping hot when arrived, and by far the best deals,I ordered a tray of chicken kebab and chips and the box was packed!!! Definitely recommend!!!

The most horrible kebab I've ever had. Smothered in cury sauce, tasteless, greasy and cold. The chips were swimming in oil and looke like they were already chewed. I'm going to avoid this shop in the future and warn my friends to. What a waste of time and money.

I went to weddington house, Chinese but it was closed. So I decided to get fish and chips instead. Yes it's nice and bright, with plenty of staff. Split into a kebab counter and a fish counter! I was served by two people.. Both fairly polite, but not there to be friendly, just there to do a job. One seemed to be a supervisor. I've not come across this before. Ample chips, a cheap commodity and under sized expensive fish, and a small pot of Luke warm, what appeared to be, watered down, mushy peas. Not what I'd call a nice place. It's a production line, end of. A one off visit that won't be repeated in a hurry.

Ordered chips chicken and mushroom pie and mushy peas. Received meat pie ? Cold peas and so much vinegar on chips couldn't eat them . Never again

I had a very pleasant experience. Staff was very friendly, the food was so tasty. The chips were so fluffy. Can't fault anything. Best chips I've had in a long time.

Not as good as usual we have ordered several times and never had a bad order before it was cold and had to be microwaved very disappointing.

Foods alright,don't bother getting delivery,it will turn up 2hrs late,and when you phone up,no answer,it's the only place on just eat that they are horrendously late 😡

We ordered a large chicken kebab meat with chips and they sent doner kebab, was disappointing as I don't like doner meat and was looking forward to the chicken

The food arrived cold. I ordered curry sauce not gravy. The fish scored the highest at 1 out of 10. Cold and tasteless. Had mixed kebab which was cold and unpalatable. Not sure it was even cooked. Awful and ended up in the bin. I doubt the people cooking tonight have a clue. Won’t be ordering again. Just awful 🤢

If I could give them infinite stars I would. Time and time again, they do not disappoint. I've gone to other takeaways but always return to them. The price and standard of food is second to none.

Missed items again. Second time in a row. Chicken was cold and uncooked. When I rang the restaurant the manager laughed down the phone. Will never use this chip shop again. Disgusting attitude to a paying customer.

Excellent food, piping hot and well packaged to keep warm, good value. Only downside was delivery driver had to phone twice to find the property and then refused to deliver so had to go and get the food from downstairs as he couldn’t find the number of the house when I clearly stated first floor on the phone to him the first time.
