This is our favourite place in Studley, apart from the selection of lovely ales to try tth staff and locals are really welcoming, we love having a chat with them about the area .

Small but really cosy and a very friendly atmosphere. We were soon chatting away with the staff and the other patrons. Great selection of ales and other things too. There was a TV on in the bar area with sports being shown but it wasn't too lous, or the main focal point of the room which we liked. Will definitely visit again.

What a fab place to visit. We obviously enjoy real ales and this one never fails. The young barman very knowledgeable and enjoys his job as he is ready to serve as soon as glasses are empty, no waiting to get served. Nice chippy next door and great bakery opposite. We will be back again as soon as they are allowed to reopen.

Although the pub is small this almost adds to its atmosphere and reminds me of the old fashioned "proper" pub. The choice of beer is good and the bar staff very knowledgeable. The fact that you can bring your own food is a bonus. Although parking is a problem a five minute walk is worth it

Best place in studley to go for a great selection of real ales that they mostly make themselves. The Caney’s cider is also made in the village.

What a smashing pub. Its the size of my front room but with a lovely ambiance. That's the pub not my front room.I'm told they brew their own beers and in the interest of science I've tried them all. Prefer the darker ones but they are all great.Don't think you can get food apart fron crisps and nuts but not sure. Sat eating fish and chips from a couple of doors away and the gaffer was ok about it. Nice to be able to sit with my dog.Lost a point cause its almost impossible to park.

Most of the ales are brewed by the owner a stones throw from the pub. It also has a local cider called Caneys Cider which is also made in the village. Well worth a visit if you like craft cider and beer.

A really nice atmosphere with a selection of beers and cider and a nice friendly welcome. It's not the kind of place if you like noisy tv and loud music, but has a nice atmospheric "buzz" about the place. It doesn't sell food but has the usual bar snacks and you are able to eat your own food.

The drinks are fine , cakes are fine and the venue is fine but sweet Lord the server a middle aged lady with glasses and greying hair is abrupt and unfriendly to the point of rudeness. Think Basil Fawlty on a bad day. If you don't want to be pleasant get a different job. To be fair we are normally served by someone quite nice.

After experiencing the cafe on one of their club nights, myself and my husband were completely sold with Talton Mill Cafe as the venue for our wedding party. Fran and Liz headed the venue and their input was impeccable. Everything we loved about the place was brought to our day - a cosy vibe, relaxed, beautiful, and delicious! Everything on the menu was homemade and worked perfectly with the environment. Fran and Liz listened to our ideas and needs for the day and delivered. The weather wasn’t bad either!
