I really don't know what is going on with the cafe in winterstoke road sainsbury's it's going down hill fast it's always closed before 5pm and often stops serving due to staff shortages and other issues the menu has changed for the worse you can't get a decent meal there is very little choice for diabetics or people following a low carb diet things need to change the food choices are years behind very fatty not healthy at all needs a wake up call and more staff to run it efficiently

I went with my young son and wife during the run up to Christmas where I had booked a week off work to get my Christmas shopping done. It was a good day out overall, but sadly my attempt at some respite in this Costa was thwarted by one abhorrently rude member of staff. It started when I ordered our drinks at the till. Mine and my wife's drinks were fine, but when I asked about the free 'babycchino' for my son, the woman on the till- Anna- told me they had run out of the small cups for the kids drinks and that they'd have to charge us for a whole regular size cup of milk if we wanted one! After stating the obvious that Anna could simply put a small amount of milk in a regular cup, she huffed, poured out the drinks and abruptly handed me the tray. When we sat down, the tables were messy and sticky. Granted it was busy and the run up to Christmas, but basic hygiene is not a duty that should be shirked. After finishing I needed to use the restroom, so I went to the right of the tills and queued for use of the loo. When I got in there I could hardly breathe. The smell was awful. I went straight out to the tills and spoke to Anna again to tell her that the their toilets needed attention. I got the same huffy attitude from Anna who told me that they were nothing to do with her as the toilets were managed by Primark. She didn't even contact her Primark colleagues or a manager to let them know that someone had smeared excrement on the floor in there. Truly a shocking experience.

I recently visited Bamalan for their bottomless brunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Several issues during our visit left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. 1. Unnotified Menu Change: Upon arrival, we discovered the menu had changed, but there were no prior notifications on the website or in the restaurant. This felt misleading, as we had specifically chosen this brunch based on the items from the previous menu. 2. Poor Service: The service was extremely disappointing. Our waitress was rude and dismissive, often walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to order. Despite being the only table in the venue, we felt completely ignored. She seemed more focused on preparing for a private function than attending to us, which made us feel like an inconvenience. We even had to shout to get her attention, which was both frustrating and embarrassing. 3. Venue Closed Upon Arrival: We were left standing outside upon arrival because the venue was closed, despite having a reservation. This lack of communication and disorganization was unprofessional. 4. Unpleasant Environment: The atmosphere was further disrupted when staff began dragging bins past our table before we had even placed our order. This completely ruined the ambiance and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. 5. Unresolved Concerns: When we tried to address our issues upon leaving, the staff seemed too preoccupied with preparing for a private event to listen. It was clear we were not a priority, and we left feeling like an inconvenience. Overall, this experience was far below expectations and not worth the money spent. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both service and customer care. I have sent an email addressing these issues but have yet to receive a response.
