All I can say about this FOOD IS (THATS WHY MUMS GO TO ICELAND) wouldn't recommend, might aswell eat your dog shit off the street, or from the local food brown bin...

Long time customer, but tonight was poor , longer delivery than usual and arrived and mostly all the order was cold food. Well the chicken was piping hot so obviously other items were prepared and the left to wait until the chicken was cooked.

I had a lovely burger with generous amounts of fresh salad. Another day I had the chicken. All high quality and good portions :)

Fried chicken is too bad. Chicken, chips, and sauce were all mixed together in one box. The chicken was partially undercooked and doesn’t have any taste. I would advise you to focus only on one type of food.

Ordered from Uber Eats. 1 hour then 2 hours pass.... I decided to ring as they deliver "with in house drivers". When I rang they asked my name and repeated the address back to me *including the house number* Apparently the driver had already been but "the road was closed" the road is not closed as there are cars driving past my house in both directions, he then asked if I could collect which I said I couldn't, the person on the end of the phone then started blaming me saying I didn't leave a house number on Uber Eats? It gives my live location for one and I could see it states my number and name of road when ordering. *Plus he'd already repeated my address back to me when giving my name at the start of the call!?!?* I then said "ok well you might as well cancel the order then".....He then started screaming at me down the phone saying who was going to pay for the order as it wouldn't be them.... They then cancelled the order their end stating they'd already delivered... Trying to therefore charge my account. CON ARTISTS.

Just received a pizza usually very good. But tonight's very poor patches of no topping and a mile away from the edge.

Been a loyal customer for nearly 10 years but recently new staff have an attitude when you call to say that you have been waiting an hour and the food turned up cold all you get what do expect me to do? Never again!! Sorry family kebab but you have lost a very loyal customer. 51

Tried their home delivery pizzas for the first time tonight...far far superior to anything else i've tried in Bristol. Proper deep pan base (unlike the usual home delivery excuse other take aways fob you off with) and lashings of toppings. If you've never tried them for pizzas i definitely recommend them. Certainly not going anywhere else after this...

One of the worst kebabs I've ever had. Shish meat so dry and chewy that it made my jaw hurt. Uncooked pita, clearly straight out the packet. Oddly sour garlic mayo. Sadly binned.

This is our local takeaway and we have come here quite often. The food here is decent, we only have small meals like chips & cheese or pizza but they've all been pretty good quality most of the time although there have been some times that the food has not been so good. There are some holes in the food choice, though. We noticed that a small chips and a large chips are the same size and there's literally no point going for large. The price here online can be quite high, so it's much better to go into the shop and pay as the prices are lower. The prices go from a tad expensive for what you get to a fair price.

Chicken on the kebab had no taste. One of worst kebabs I've ever eaten. Was very hungry but just couldn't eat it. Overpriced as well. Would never go back

Lazy delivery guys. Said the buzzer didn't work when I know full well it does. He needs to lose some weight and maybe he'll be able to lift his finger enough to ring the buzzer, maybe he'll make it up the stairs. Probably not though.

It's OK, but this food style really unhealthy. The real mean of unhealthy food.

Not as good as the first time we went a couple months ago. Pricing is a bit cheeky - claiming to give a discount online, but the prices are higher to begin with so you actually end up paying more. Lamb shish definitely not worth what we paid for it this time around, mixed kebab was generous and really tasty. Would probably not go back unfortunately

The paper only wrapped chicken shish worked well ... no leaks ... see no need for unrecyclable polystyrene box .. time to stop using these .... Great grill flavours ... staff game for wrapping kebabs just in paper... like they used to be

Specifically asked for 2 chicken beast snd got 1 plus chicken drum stick annoying as I don’t like chicken on the bone, this is not the-1 st time and I would have paid extra, food not great and will not be using again as when i complained they were not interested

The food and service used to be very good but its dreadful now. Abrupt and unhelpful plus the food is never fresh. There are far better takeaways in the area to give your custom to in my opinion.

Been going here for years. The mixed doner, shish and spicy potato's are fantastic. The chicken is a gamble as sometimes they can be on the dry side but other times are succulent and flavorsome.

Waited 45 mins for half the wrong order, was told theyd send the correct one, waited another 20 mins and told they are very busy but will be cooking it soon, meanwhile everyone else has eaten!!

Ordered shish kebabs from here through Uber eats omg they are to die for, lamb was cooked to perfection and so tasty, the salad was really fresh, great portion size too. Arrived half an hour earlier than expected. I would recommend family kebab house 💯‰

I really liked the food so I went again. Credit where credit's due both occasions were the same...nice food and staff who make you feel like an inconvenience. So the dilemma next time will be nice food/miserable staff or try somewhere else

Food wasn't delivered to me! Address reads Flat 1. Turns out it was delivered to the block of Flats clearly sign posted as flats 30-34. I found the found under the sign. I called after food was an hour over due. I was told they tried calling but just eat didn't give my phone number (not their fault) and rang the door bell and left the food outside,that was that in their eyes. They rang the wrong door bell because they delivered to clearly the wrong flats (their fault)! I found it after walking round the whole block of for 10 minutes. Food was obviously cold and I chucked it out. No refund as yet, they clearly didn't want to talk to me on the phone. Never again, at least if they are going to deliver.

Despite it being 2021 why is it still a thing to make your female customer base uncomfortable with unnecessary staring and smirking. It’s not flattering, it’s not needed and certainly won’t gain you a decent reputation. Please train your staff before someone else has to. Appalling.

This place is the most underrated place in Bristol its so good i will always get food from here 10/10 never get a problem staff and food is incredible these people are giving fake comments about them getting poisoned for a free refund

Food took an hour which if fine as Friday night but was not notified about the time at all, when food did come the guy didn't even knock or ring the door bell he rang our phone for us to come out to get the food , what is that!!! Then the food was cold! Definitely not ordering again!

Great food and service. I usually have a sheesh kebab rather than the donkey stuff. Don’t bother with chips as they refry them to ordered. Family Kebab, if you’re reading this.. Please stop your delivery drivers from smoking near the front door. It stinks and it’s unhygienic.. and cancerous.

Originally had a 5 star review and use to order from these guys every single time. Last week ordered burger, kebab, and 2 chocolate cakes. They sent 2 FROZEN slices of chocolate gateau! Seriously Frozen! (Usually the chocolate cake is proper chocolate cake not Gateau, and never been frozen before!) So I rung them to explain the issue and the guy was trying to tell me that everyone likes chocolate cake frozen what a load of BS. Anyway it ended with him offering with two free cakes next time we order. Ordered last night and he tried to charge me for the chocolate cakes! He went back on his word and refused to give me two cakes free of charge even after explaining to him again, so I cancelled my order, and will never order from them again. They’ve lost a customer for life for the sake of 2 slices of chocolate cake which the whole cake probably costs less than a couple of pounds. My order was over £20. You do the math...

Unfortunately there’s no option for zero stars, this was by far the worst food I have ever tasted I had to stop eating it after 2 bites and go somewhere else instead. I won’t be surprised if I get I’ll because of those two bites either. You might think I’m being harsh but I am usually the type of person to give the best possible review I can, but I simply cannot give a compliment for this place

I was order delivery the 2 special kebabs and the meat in it don’t cooked at all. I take the kebab back myself to shop to return him.i was not demanding refund or exchange I just want to complain for it and the guy in shop is very rud

No idea what all these supposed food poisoning reports are about - did anyone actually report it? I've eaten from here ever since it opened and have never had a problem. Food is cooked while you wait if you get off your arse and go and order in person. More food than anywhere for the money,especially if you're a piggy like us an order the family special with chips - eat it between 2 of us! I will continue to use them.

Awful experience. Food order was incorrect, was simply told to scrape the salad off by management, then told to not order with them again. The driver was inconsiderate and rude.

I wish I had read the other reviews first, as I've never been as ill from food before. Terrible food poisoning with fever, two days bedridden and couldn't even drink water without vomiting. I couldn't eat for a further two days, so I lost four days pay. Bristol council really needs to do something about this place, before they make an old person or young child seriously ill that it's fatal.
