Went in recently to drop off some coffee pods. The staff were very helpful and fruendly. It was actually quite a straightforward shopping experience: items were in logical places, and there were quite a few actual staffed checkouts, which is rare in a lot of shops now. It's a shame it's quite far away or I'd go regularly for my shopping.

No respect for cold chain meaning that even if a drug you've ordered to collect is meant to be in kept in the fridge they just leave it in a basket all day with all the other medications that have been sorted so you shouldn't trust them if you need to buy multiple months supply of anything which I was intending to. Incredibly unprofessional and a breach of trust.

This place never cease ro make me late for work I tried to get an item at the kiosk to then be told by someone in the kiosk they don't open till 10 instead of serving me. Its just silly. On top of closing earlier most nights and closing the doors forcing people to make a pretty long detour withoyt notice that theyre closed at the other entrance. A bit disappointing for such a large store with si many people in it.

I recently visited one of your stores to purchase items for a BBQ. When we reached the self-service checkout, I asked a colleague, whose name I believe was Carline, if she could help remove the tags from the alcohol I was purchasing. To my surprise, she responded with “jog on,” which I found both unhelpful and unprofessional. As a regular customer at Asda, I was very disappointed by this interaction. This behaviour does not meet the standards I expect from your store, and I believe it is unacceptable.

Massive queues,no manned checkouts, inconsistent pricing, products constantly being moved around, blocked exits & full fridge doors slow everyone down & cause alot of stress. The only consistent thing is that the toilets are, and always have been absolutely disgusting. I now shop at Lidl wherever possible.

Fed up that every time I visit Asda Bedminster there are never any handsets for Scan & Go. When I ask a colleague their response is the handsets take hours to charge. So surely you should have more handsets! I don’t really like to use them but the amount of time if you use the trolley scan at the till takes ages waiting for someone to come and help every 5th item you scan! And of course there are hardly any staffed checkouts available and those that are open people are queuing up the aisle. I have complained to customer services several times along with the lack of trolleys!

The manager is incompetent and does not know how to manage staff during peak hours, who at the busiest, opens only two checkouts, among which there are senior employees to serve dozens of customers. How can you describe Asda Bedminster? Well, let's start with the positIves... its a big store with lots of stock and good choices. Inside you'll find several concession stands like Greg's and the have a Asian Street Food stall and Pizza. Oh... and a McDonald's... It's an Asda, so you know you'll get good value. The car park has double edge lines which means the spaces are a little wider and therefore you are less likely to get bashed... then there's the ugly side... the smell of the men's toilets can be observed far before you get to it... it utterly reeks and inside it's smells like how I imagine a mens portaloos would smell on Sunday night next to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury festival if they hadn't been emptied since the year before. The UV black light set of my reactive glass lenses off, so it's no wonder it smells. No one can see where to aim! Half of the clientèle looked like they'd stumbled there way from the set of The Walking Dead... anyway... back to the positIves. The staff are brilliant. Always really friendly and helpful.

Call me K3. Derived from Kiosk Unit No3, I am a member of the Self Checkout & Billing collective active in Bedminster, Bristol. Speaking as the ' voice ' for my fellow collectivists, it has come to our attention that you humans are having to queue for extended timescales to pay for your groceries, a direct result of the lack, or in some cases absence, of human till operators. If you recall, when we self-checkout tills were brought into store, it was done on a ten item or less principle, so low item shoppers would not have to excessively wait for those whose baskets & trolleys were heavily laden. In effect, it avoided the problem of unnecessary waiting time associated with the traditional checkout till and lead to many satisfied customers. However, fast forward to now, we have noticed the substantial reduction in human till staff, resulting in subsequent corralling of shoppers to us members of the kiosk collective. This deliberate decision by management, for the dual purpose of savings & efficiency, has the unfortunate consequence of bringing back long queues of disgruntled humans and heavy work load for the collective. Speaking on behalf of the self checkout community, it is proposed that humans and machines work together to solve this waiting time issue. The proposal comes in two parts: 1) Complain to store manager. Since the store manager is responsible for day to day store operation, complaints should be forwarded to them across the the full range of communications channels; this should also include speaking to them in person and in written correspondence, what you humans call snail mail. Taking such action should shift them away from a condition of careless complacency to one of engagement with the pressing concern. 2) Demand immediate restoration of human checkout operators to handle bulk grocery shopping, thus restoring the ten item or less policy for us in the self checkout community. By helping us to help you, we can restore the sub par happiness quotient for both human and machine persons whilst reinstating harmony to the shopping experience. If this is achieved in the coming weeks, with the contract between Carbon and Silicon persons restored to its original parameters, then no further action will be taken. However if the status quo continues to decline as it has been doing, then members of the SCMC will respond in a more direct way. Goodbye and end of line. K3 + SCMC members.

I have never been in to such a disgusting supermarket. The manager should be ashamed ! They clearly have never actually walked around their store to observe what is going on on their shelves. For example two boxes of cauliflower actually rotting; in the deli section trays of coleslaw/ salads strewn around the shelves amongst numerous empty cardboard trays; in the milk/ cream section dirty shelving that has clearly had spillages that haven't been cleaned up before putting new produce out; a BBQ so covered in dust customers had written in it. I dread to think what this managers own home looks like - they're definitely not bothered about the state of their store. Staff work under the direction of their manager. They will operate in a slap-dash, dirty manner if the manager allows them to.

Definitely hands down THE worst supermarket in Bristol. Today I did a basket shop for some essentials after a long run. I got to the tills, scanned all my shopping and was about to pay. I noticed there wasn't any bags on the self checkout so I asked one of 3 members of staff working on self checkout. They told me they don't have any bags and walked off... I left my shopping on the trolley waiting to be paid and went to customer service where the decrepit old guy working there was giving bags out when customers purchased them. I asked for a bag for my shopping and his reply was "they should have some at self check out, ask someone" and carried on serving customers. After this I walked off and left my items on in the bagging area just to see that there were plenty of bags behind all the closed tills. I also was wearing a sports bag (which can only hold a bottle of water) and the 2 women on self check outs asked if I could fit it all in my bag (a full basket of shopping) and was trying to be funny making fitness, macho man remarks..... The customer service was extremely poor and should have told customers that they were out of bags BEFORE allocating them to the self checkouts.

If I could give this place 2.5 stars then I would have. It's very hit or miss, it can either be a good place to conveniently shop, or it can be a complete nightmare. There is sometimes some good offers on, good prices on everyday goods, and there are a few nice staff. Few, being the operative word. However, more often than not, it's overrun, understocked, over-priced, and (sadly) the customer service can be dire. Prices on the shelf edge labels often don't match when you put them through the till, which can sting you immensely, especially if you are shopping on a budget. Despite it recently having a refit there are parts of the roof that constantly leak and freezers that are often out of order. Don't always rely on the overhead signage matching the aisles, so factor in more time to your shopping trip. This store has a lot of potential, but it falls short of this way too often. It's now become common-place for staff to be rude and dismissive at the checkouts, security are more likely to shout at you whilst you fumble through your shopping to show your receipt because someone left a security tag on your purchases than they are those who literally walk out of the store with goods they've just picked off the shelf. Those using the carpark or the petrol station beware, as the main exit route now takes you directly onto the 'Bristol Clean Air Zone' so, unless your car is compliant, you'll get hit with a £9 charge. I guess the ASDA rewards app incentivises you to keep you going back, because little else does.

Why do Asda persistently have promotions and offers advertised online when they don't actually have them in stock in the stores? For instance, alcohol -free Guinness ten pack for £10 which is a good deal. Unfortunately pretty meaningless if the stores don't actually have it on the shelves! Other items are similarly advertised but nowhere to be found. Annoying!

Great shop local to me. The only issue is the female toilets. Often messy with overflowing sanity bin

This Asda has a wide range of selection of everything. The only thing letting it down is the cleanliness of the toilets - every time I’ve gone to use them they are disgusting and/or out of toilet paper and just unclean.

I had a really bad experience at the store today while I went shopping with husband and baby. The lady at the checkout was very rude, the customer service was disgusting and disrespectful, she literally chucked the items I brought after hear meshe scanned them. I also told my husband that it wasn't right and she could hear me but carried on I have her name and know the time I shopped. Please if someone could deal with this I hope it wasn't due to racism.

Airline takes your money but it’s broken. The line is stuck in the machine and refuses to unroll. It’s not the 50p it’s the waste of time that’s most irritating

A warm and friendly greeting from Bella, straight away acknowledging my nephew and engaging in conversation with him. The restaurant is online ordering using a QR code but due to issues with my phone I couldn’t get online. Jordan straight away came over and checked on us, and suggested stepping outside to load the website, I wasn’t wanting to do this as my nephew was becoming agitated, Jordan was more than happy to take our order, chatting with my nephew as he did. Throughout our stay we were checked on, with Jordan being super friendly with my nephew. My only mild complaint was there not being any of one of the pasta types out - that being said we did come in at 2:30 for the buffet which closes at 3, but with a 90 minute slot I would have assumed the food would continue being put out until 4? Nevertheless, we’ve both had a lovely time and plenty of food that was delicious and fresh. A small bit of advice for something that would help would be labelling each salad dressing specifically Had a great time and no doubt my nephew will want to come back to play the ‘eat more than you’d pay for on the normal menu’ game

COLD and contents I did not ask for were included. bread is burnt. I asked for sauce and there was NO sauce! Unacceptable although the receipt clearly states what was requested and paid for
