Cannot review the food as we did not get any, pretty looking place, sunny day, sat at table outside, waiter gave us some menus, said it was table service and that he would return in 5 minutes to take our order......nothing for 15 minutes, popped my head in to ask about ordering, to be told kitechen was closed and no food available, I explained we had been waiting for 15 mins.....Party of 4 French visitors who seated a minute after us were also told the same after waithing 15 mins.......we all left..... Kiosk up the hill was very friendly and good food!!!!!

Called here for lunch after visiting the fabulous Harris Distillery. Table service only so sat outside on a sunny day. Decided to go for the Brie, bacon with cranberry toasty. It arrived on ultra processed cheap bread. The thinnest filling I’ve ever eaten and devoid of taste. That was the good part of the visit. On leaving went to use the restroom. Absolutely disgusting. Black mold covering the walls. The toilets look like they hadn’t been cleaned for years! If the toilets are not clean, on view to the paying guests, what must the cleanliness of the kitchen be like, not on show to the guests? Makes you think! Avoid at all costs.

My girlfriend and me came here before opening hours but the owner saw us standing outside and invited us in. We had a tea and we shared beans on toast. The owner was very nice and the place was very cozy.

Charming little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of gluten-free (adaptable) and dairy free options, I had the soup (always gf), which was lovely, but they did give me normal bread after I asked for it gluten-free and informed them I'm coeliac. Staff weren't as knowledgeable about coeliac disease and cross-contamination as they should be. The risk of cross contamination is quite high due to a small and busy kitchen.

Very, very slow service. Waited around 30 minutes for a toastie. When it did arrive there wasn't much there. Very thin toastie, not much filling, 1 slice of cucumber and cherry tomato and 1 tiny dollop of coleslaw. Shocking! Coffee was nice

Well soooo disappointed!!!! First time came in for takeaway soup and were told to wait outside in the rain - second time ( limited to places that are open!) ordered hot drinks and a toastie and cake and then accused of going up the hill to get other food although we were only going to get a loaf of bread !!! Very rude staff !! Would not recommend to anyone!!!! Remember tourists are your living!,

Our tour group of 10 needed somwhere to grab lunch, so we popped in here and couldn't have been happier. Our sandwiches were delicious, the service was outstanding, we ate them out of most of their cheesecake, and the double espresso I had at the end was the perfect send off. The gentlemen working here were an absolute delight!

We called in for lunch. All tables were full but as soon as someone left the table was cleaned for us. Staff were very pleasant. We had different toasties and both were very nice with a small amount of excellent coleslaw. I had a piece of citrus cake which was so good that we bought two pieces to take away. Cappuccino was also very nice. Tried to go back the following week but unfortunately it was closed on Wednesdays.

Very rude young man with glasses abruptly said he can't take my takeaway order as he has a que, I did say not a problem I will wait outside but we and 3 other customers decided that we did not like the Manor we were spoke to, the young girl taking orders is much more professional and should have his job, being catering for over 25yrs I feel qualified to suggest this young man needs education in his position and manners. The young girl was very polite on a good note.

Don't go just after the ferry gets in . There was no room. The 2nd time we went it said they closed at 4.30pm. It was 2 minutes passed 4 and we were told quite abruptly that they stopped serving at 4 so they could lock up at 4.30. Very disappointed as it had such good reviews

Nice eatery at the end of the road --- literally! We were in the Road End Cottage across the way - so had to eat here upon arrival on a Saturday night. Good service - nice food. lovely view of harbour and when it gets dark the fairy lights are a nice touch.

This small family run hotel is a breath of fresh air. It greets you like a warm hug from the moment you enter. The rooms are furnished with good taste and good quality. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice of options. We had dinner on two nights. On Sunday it was served in the main dining room and on Monday in the bar/pub. The bar/pub in a separate building at the rear of the hotel is a wee gem with a great atmosphere. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return in the future
