From the moment we walked through the door Clare was very warm and welcoming and happy to help. Nothing was too much bother and credit to the hungry horse team. Will definitely be back again

We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and food was Very Good & tasty when they have it. To much lately on the menu is changed without telling when you order. Not the cleanest of places. We've had enough and will not be back

Lovely meal out for lunch with the children. Quick and efficient bar service from Leighton who also helped my daughter with her request of melting her burger cheese! Came to this pub yesterday for food and drinks with the off chance of visiting the cinema, wasn’t very busy and was steady in the evening. The staff that were on were professional and smart, only think I see 4 ladies. 3 delivered our food, which were Zoe and Clare as they asked us to review our experience and another lady in smart clothes, ( didn’t catch her name, also a lady on the bar who was very nice and attentive and patient, also didn’t catch her name. Lovely and clean and the food was lovely had a mix it up deal and then got to the tills and it was £9 so a bonus. Will definitely be back to see the other great deals in the pub. Thank you for a lovely a evening and a lovely meal.

We come here often as they have lots of deals, they have selected meals for £5 in January too, the food is always great and the staff are lovely too, I would recommend booking for weekends as they can get quite busy

Where do I start?. Table filthy, table next to us had one meal arrive,tough steak and cold food. Half hour later the other partner recieved his food which the waitress dropped on the floor. 15 minutes later a new ser of onion rings and his burger.asked for without cheese but covered in cheese. Once again food returned and 15 mins later after his partner had finished he recieved his food. The smashed plate of onion rings remained on the floor all through the meals. Table next to us, hour wating for cold food. Ourselves over an hour and 15 minutes..finally roast turkey arrived...everything cold and under cooked. Partners mixed grill the steak was gristle.. inedible and cold...chicken the same. Both of us refused to eat it and were given a refund. Plus side staff gave us a soft drink each for the delay. The staff did there best but barely any staff on site, 40 glasses on the bar to be cleaned as no staff to do it. All in all an absolute disaster...the restaurant is pay cheap and get basic meals, we accept that but intention was to have a meal and then use the cinema...so we left hungry. The waiting staff were clearly overwhelmed so the management should be held accountable. This was such am absolute car crash of an evening we will be reporting this to the company, hungry horse and demand an explanation. Clearly cost cutting staff and it has backfired massively. Loads of very unsatisfied customers. Think carefully about using this restaurant unless things considerably improve. And on an afternoon both myself and partner felt sick after eating minimal amounts about half an hour later. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Friendly Good service Clean and tidy Food lovely

I brought my family here for Christmas Day. We also came last year too. I have to say this year was next level in comparison. Everything was so much better, the staff were fantastic & attentive, the main meal - Christmas dinner, was delicious & plenty! We preferred the veg separately this year. Rather than last year on the plate. It was cosy and festive & i literally have nothing but good things to say. The staff were exceptional I have to say :)

We went here on Sunday for lunch me and my family The food was absolutely disgusting every bit of it was cold we sent it back several times and not even a manager would come out and apologize terrible would not recommend this place and we will never go there again

As a family we all celebrate our birthdays anniversary's and special occasions with a meal at Waters Edge Rochester and there is always minimum of 6 adults and at least 2/3 times during the year there can be as many as 16 of us The staff are all amazing, friendly and polite and the service is fantastic

Came in for a few drinks what a great atmosphere and great staff made the group feel really welcome and nothing was a problem
