Nice hot meals with good customer service

4.1.2024 I’ve used this Chinese restaurant a few times over the last two years, but unfortunately I will be using again. I’ve made an order which took over an hour, only for the restaurant to forget the munchie box, which then took another hour, after which everyone had already eaten. I’m not sure if it’s under new management, but I will definitely not be returning.

Been waiting 2 hrs 30 mins for the food to be delivered. Rung them twice and its still not arrived. I won't be using them again. Do not recommend

Again placed order received within 30 minutes piping hot -best Chinese/service in Medway-can’t fault it 👌

we ordered food and received the wrong order , we called up and the man we spoke to was rude and arrogant and ended the phone on us and when we explained what happened they said that it was our fault and that we had ordered this before when we haven’t. The man on the phone was disrespectful and decided to ignore our whole point when their side was wrong

The worst Chinese takeaway i have ever had over cooked greasy,bland and I only ate half of it which is not like me wouldn't recommend or use again

This place is god blessed, honestly! The quality of the food, the portions, the price! The taste/flavours 10/10 everytime

Went in to order a takeaway from here for 3 people. Pleasantly surprised I have to say. Good selection of choices, food was hot and delicious. We have already been back again for another takeaway. Reasonable prices aswell.

The duck was uneatable and the chips where not nice seaweed was OK bit will not go back x

Possibly the nicest Chinese food for the cheapest price I've ever had.

This is my local Chinese, and not once have I ever had a bad meal from them. Always arrives hot, tastes good, friendly as well.

Ordered from here and was severely underwhelmed. Everything was so greasy and bland. Small portions but was quite cheap so got what you paid for. Quality was subpar, we ended up throwing most of the food away unfortunately. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Great service but 2 dished burnt

Ordered the crispy vegtable noodles and I have to say it was amazing to point. The egg fried rice was great too.

Not sure what all the nay sayers are on about? Ordered via Deliveroo. Food is good, delivery quick, no complaints

Wow! I was amazed by chi’s Chinese. The delivery was quick and everything was nice and warm. The whole meal was great but the ho fun was outstanding, I’ve never tasted anything quite like it. I can’t recommend chi’s enough!

First time using this place and most definitely the last! Food is disgusting. No flavour, just grease. Worse Chinese take away I have ever used! What a waste of money.

Chi Chinese is without doubt the go to Chinese in the Medway area. The Ho Fun is far and away the best I've had (and I've had a lot!). Great service would recommend to anyone

I ordered from Chi not expecting much as the Takeaways around rainham aren’t the best in my opinion. I was surprised at the quality of food for the price you pay. I had the sweet and sour chicken balls as a start which were great. My mains was the crispy duck with some egg fried rice which was tasty. My mum had the king prawn with rice noodles and she loved it. Really happy with the service and will definitely by ordering again :). Jayden

Well haven't been in to Chi for well over 5-years where it went downhill so thought give it ago and no it still ain't changed. And god knows how the fish in the tank know where to swim you can just about see them in there . got chicken in lemon sauce and sweet and sour chicken balls. put the lemon sauce on the chicken and it was like where did it go it was like pee and didn't taste like lemon sauce. it made it all soggy. and the chicken balls was no better more batter than chicken and the chips wasn't nice neither. we won't be going back there again.

Thanks to chi Chinese with their delicious food, they never disappointed me at all perfect dishes, guys please keep it up

My family and I enjoyed an excellent takeaway delivered to our home. It's free delivery in the local area for orders over £10 which is fantastic. Placed an order by telephone. The staff member was very efficient taking the order and I was able to pay by card over the phone which was also very quick and easy. The food was delivered when they said it would be and the delivery driver was lovely and very friendly. Food was brilliant and hot. Very generous portion sizes and great value for money. My kids who can be a bit fussy tucked right into it! All in all, everything was exactly what you want from a takeaway that delivers - hassle free, not too expensive and a quality meal. Will definitely use Chi Chinese in the future. It was my first time eating from here and I was impressed with the whole experience.

This was the most greasy and stodgy food I have ever ordered. Not nice. Very disappointing.

Dont order from here!!! Always get the order wrong. Especially if you want a curry sauce. You'll get sweet and sour instead. Your dinner will be cold by the time they deliver the right order. Order elsewhere...

Best Chinese anywhere and if you don't think so I don't care

Despite the shop’s appearance, the food will pleasantly surprise you! Great taste, polite staff who are eager to help and lots of options on the menu, I recommend trying the chefs specials!

Had beef fried rice from here while visiting friends locally, it was gross! As soon as you took the lid off the smell hit you, it smelt off, and there were large lumps of partly cooked egg white mixed in with it! Filed under bin! Will not be using again!

Only gave one star as i couldnt rate without adding a star. Dont buy foor from here!!!! Food is lawful, hygiene is appalling.

Can't get hold of them after you order when they say say 45 mins after they have taken your money we have been trying to get hold of them for 2 hours, waste of time. no doubt they will blame every1 else. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

Been waiting for an hour and a half for this food! Dont think I'll be ordering from them again! Still waiting so it better be worth it! Food came.... eventually and I must say, it was the worse Chinese I've ever had! The portions are so small! Even for a large! Wouldn't bother..... definitely not worth the time and money!

How can they used chicken slices such as the one for sandwiches in their chicken balls. Over fried egg fried rice. Rice looked like yesterday's refried with an egg throw in. Won't be getting from here again.

Everything was tasteless... You get better quality food from a ready meal if I'm honest. Beef chow mein was dry the Singapore noodles was like eating hard water i feel like Iv lost a £20 note out on the street.. Wouldn't waste your time time with this place

The staff are really nice. The shop could do with an makeover because it's very worn and old. However the food is very nice and tasty.

Came here the other day and had the roast duck rice noodle soup. Found out it's all made on site by the staff and it was amazing would reccomend for anybody to try.

I have been here a lot. Food is so tasty. I never have to wait long, the beautiful fish tank under the takeaway counter are beautiful to look at. Parking is free.

Dreadful here. AVOID at all costs. I’ve been coming here weekly for years. Past few weeks prices have increased massively. Just a boiled rice has gone up by a whole pound alone, all in one jump. Came here last night, food was burnt, and the curry sauce, was like some other sauce had been put in the pot instead. It was a foul green Color and had no taste of even slight smell of curry. I have the same thing every week so I know what it is like. Took the food back tonight, as it was just before closing I went in last night. Was polite, I see the same staff every week. Just explained the problems with the burnt food and foreign sauce. Despite knowing I’m regular and never really having a problem, I am shouted at and argued with back. We have been here 24 years we know what curry sauce is like, it’s how it always is etc. So unprofessional, so rude, so defensive. They didn’t even take the food to look where they would have seen it themselves. I honestly won’t ever step foot in this shop again, it’s going down the drain. Prices extortionate, food quality down the drain, the restaurant inside looks old and dirty looking now, and the service, well. Surely all Chinese restaurants aren’t this defensive over the food? My order only came to about £7 and they wouldn’t even consider replacing. I come here every week for years. Do they think I just didn’t eat my food this particular evening and went to the effort of bringing it all the way back to the shop just to be difficult? Never heard anything like it. AVOID, as I can now see that other customers below have had a similar experience. Hope this shop goes out of business. It’s an eye sore.

Food was slightly cold, ordered crispy pancake which certainly wasn't crispy. Chow mein noodles was darker than they should have been and tasted like they had been cooked for too long .. waited an hr for food, will certainly not be ordering from here again...

Always orider from here. Never had a problem. But ordered foodd that smelt off and this has never happended before. So I ordered just before they closed, got my food , I was happy. Now come to eat it and it's smelling funny . So I called the next day to complain because they were closed, and she said she can't do anything because it is the next day😠😠. I am nor ordering expecting to get off food, and can't do anything about it because you are closes and try to call the next day when you are open to get told nothing can be done about it. Rubbery chicken and never again, people settle for anything these days, Chinese takeaways all the same now as most of the Meat sourced from china and being a country that was making counterfiet babymilk, eggs and chicken you never know what your eating.

Crap .. firstyl food was rubbery and tasteless . On dishing up our noodles we were by a lump of black stuff that resembled a rat dropping. The lot was thrown in the bin. Reporting to relevant authorities and will never spend another penny in this s*it hole. Avoid
