Fairly quiet as the hotel was quiet, lovely staff and great service, food was lovely, no complaints at all.

It's been a refugee hotel for well over a year.

Stayed at the hotel using a ‘Buy a Gift’ present of an overnight stay with Dinner and Breakfast and the dining experience was brilliant. Nice and friendly service throughout in restaurant and the Bar and the food was really good with a great choice, I had the Pork Belly and it was excellent with little fat and lots of meat. If thinking of eating here and not local would definitely recommend the deal we had as the breakfast here was great as well

I'm sorry to say the food here was terrible. We went on a government eat out to help out night and I think the hotel is looking to make a buck by serving school dinner like food (either that or they need a new chef). The leek and potato soup was a bowl of green liquid stock with some croutons. The "slow roast pork with roast vegetables is a flash fried tough pork chop (don't advertise something as slow cooked if it's not) served with a spoonful of what I can only assume was frozen diced root veg that had not seen the inside of an oven. The salmon wash dry and full of bones with a couple of burnt potatoes and frozen peas. Both of these dishes go for around £16-18 (£8-9) on eat out to help out night. The food served was not worth even the £8-9 with the government scheme. If your paying near on £20 for a main meal you expect well cooked fresh food not frozen bulk brought cooked from frozen rubbish. The service was equally as poor, no one asked how the food was, had to go to the till to ask for plates to be cleared, then they cleared half the plates, then had to go back to the till after numerous attempts to ask to clear the rest and ask for the bill. The waiting staff did not seem organised to areas of the restaurant and seemed to be chasing each other around. Sounds fussy but when you eat out you pay for that service. Safe to say I would not eat here again which is a shame as its a nice hotel with good facilties.

As this restaurant was part of our deal, we ate here twice during our weekend stay. As part of our deal we had 2 evening courses included and breakfast. Breakfast is brilliant to be fair, a lot of choice and selection to choose from, such as a buffet style English breakfast and a continental selection too, as well as really helpful and friendly staff on hand to assist. Dinner was 50/50, personally I was just about satisfied with my confit of duck we had on the first night, it wasn’t amazing however wasn’t terrible. The chicken burger we had on the second night had brought the score up as it was up to scratch - so we were pleasantly satisfied. Overall a nice restaurant, really nice staff just not 100% convinced on the food.

We had breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner in this restaurant while staying at the hotel. All were absolutely delicious and service was impeccable!

We were staying at ther Regency Park on a deal that included dinner. We found the menu a bit limited, and the service was a bit slow, but overall satisfactory.

We had dinner and breakfast included in the hotel package so got a deal - wouldn't say food was worth it at full price but was good as part of package.Service was fine, teaspoons were weirdly cheap compared to the rest of the cutlery!Menu included such retro starters as melon and Parma ham and prawn cocktail - we enjoyed both!Breakfast was very busy but the food was tasty, particularly the sausage and croissants.

Six of us had dinner here and there was plenty of choice on the menu. They were able to offer me gluten-free options. Food was tasty and well-presented. Efficient friendly service. Perhaps a little over-priced.

Service very quick and food delicious. We waited 15 minutes for our starters and then 10 minutes for the mains. Everything fresh and tasty!

three course meal included in stay was lovely - fab desert the breakfast the next day was fresh and there was plenty of choice a new fountain would freshen the whole place as the setting is a bit tired could feel a lot more romantic

Stayed with my husband on a 2 day break and were offered a meal deal by the hotel receptionist for £25 per person. Our first night meal included a starter, main and dessert. The glazed pork loin was exquisite and chocolate brownie and ice cream perfect. The second night food was equally amazing. Leek and potato soup with croutons which was piping hot and very tasty. Again I opted for the pork loin and my husband also ate the same. Dessert was blood orange cheesecake which was out of this world. My compliments to the chef - excellent food. Highly recommend it.

Visited for a friend’s birthday, we booked afternoon tea at 2pm on a Sunday in the restaurant. It was fairly quiet and I had pre-phoned for some dietary requirements which they seen to which was good, we were offered endless tea but they had run out of de-caff which was a shame.The tea is basic but the sandwiches all seemed fresh and tasty with a selection and the cakes were plentiful and tasty as well, the scones didn’t seem home-made but the jam and cream was nice. All in all a great afternoon and we were left to chat and enjoy the tea.

staff are great and a good choice of food. service is good but due to room service orders sometimes a little slow. wine a little overpriced

Stayed at the hotel and used the restaurant on the first night - staff polite, very knowledgeable, restaurant very clean, food was fresh and above all it was hot - would recommend to anyone

The staff made a real effort to help us celebrate my cousins 18th, they also reserved a table at breakfast. They were thoughtful and the food was excellent.

We eat here as part of a package and were very happy with our choices. My partner had the bacon & black pudding salad, pork and sticky toffee pudding. I had Goat cheese, Fish & toffee pudding. All of it was tasty, portion sizes were a little varied. No wow factor but good priced quality food.

Dinning Room nearly empty and portions were very small. The lights came on outside after some time in the dark to reveal a water feature.

Very poor quality food, lets the rest of the hotel down, steak and lamb were not well cooked or quality wasn't good, starter of ravioli was not really very pleasant and it was the worst Etoni mess I've experienced , the serving people were very good and polite but the food was very amateurish, most people who ate here would walk away saying that it could be better..shame

We were staying in the Regency Park Hotel and dinner was included in our package. As is often with such deals, we weren't expecting amazing food but the Watermark was outstanding.

try to get seated by the waterfall at the very end or the restaurant the menu is varied and also caters for vegetarians if this is important to you good wine list at reasonable prices

I am not sure where everybody was, but at 8 pm I was the only patron for a while.

. We were staying in the hotel for a night, so were a bit wary of how the restaurant would be, but were pleasantly surprised. Nice surroundings, the menu wasn't extensive, but the food we chose was excellent and the staff were very good - attentive but not overly so. Would definitely recommend.

Don't get me wrong the food was good however I think the chef should give consideration to the website, emailed menus and those in the rooms as both myself and my husband had chosen our food prior to going down to dinner and neither starter or main were on a newly written menu handed to us. Disappointing.

This restaurant is part of the Regency Park Hotel. Standard hotel/bar menu but food is well-prepared, service is fast and friendly and you can either eat in the restaurant or the bar next to it. Staff quick and efficient.

Sat down at 8pm, starters came at 9pm, mains 10.45pm and dessert about 11.30pm. Food was good, however terrible service from restaurant staff and a ridiculous waiting time. Will not be returning.

The chef was let down by his serving staff here. I was here for a family wedding and there just were not enough staff on to cater for us.

Lovely restaurant..good service and quality food. The wine list seemed a bit limited and with few of a reasonable price .So drinks from the bar was the best option

I ate here this evening and it got off to a pleasant start, I was greeted by 3 members of wait staff and was shown to my table very quickly. My drinks order was taken immediately and shortly after my pepsi arrived I was offered bread and butter while my main order was being cooked.

Food is good but the staff are very inefficient. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and ate here for breakfast and dinner. In all 3 occasions, the staff weren't very good and seemed all over the place and understaffed.

Very good food and excellent value. Plenty of choice . I had the lamb one night and Bally pork the next, both deliciouse

The food here was great, we came as a night away special occasion. We had 3 courses, the menu online, in the lift and the actual menu were all different! so what I was going to choose wasn't on there in the end but no matter. To start We had the scallops and terrine both meals were wonderful, scallops were cooked to perfection! Mains we had beef, which was melt in you mouth yummy and chicken full of flavour, finally for desert we had pecan pie which was lovely with proper sized pecans and not pureed! Driks were good apart from warm sparkling wine!

Went on Saturday evening. Never ate in the Watermark before, 1st visit and will definitely return.

I ate here on a Sunday evening close to Christmas. It was quiet with only a few staff working.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere - the food and wine are high quality and the service is always with a smile. There is plenty of room between the tables so the experience is quiet and unrushed.

Expectations were pretty high, especially looking at the menu, price and location (In a decent hotel).

The food wasn't quite as good as expected from reading the menu, but it was very good despite that. The duck was pink and well presented, the beef cooked as requested. Breakfast however is excellent!

Food quality is excellent. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Also it is good value for money in comparison to other similar restaurants.

9 adults ate at this restuarant, as we were staying at the Regency Hotel. Food was very good and presented nicely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I loved the setting of this restaurant with a beautiful view of the Waterfall. The food was amazing. Excellent Seabass. Highly recommend it.

We ate in the Restaurant every morning for breakfast and the food was hot and of good quality with an excellent choice. Service was also very good.
