We are walking the whole of the Thames path in seven days. End of day six found us in the premier inn next door. Popped in here for a pint but then learnt they do Japanese food. The food was great and the service was just as good. Thanks guys really hope our paths cross again one day.

Just a fantastic spot for dinner with friends. Garden is a great space and lit focusing on plants with well-spaced tables, its atmospheric and very chilled. Japanese dishes were outstanding. A lovely balmy, funny friendly evening. Thank you!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday on Dec 29th. The pub was quiet but the landlord and bar staff were really warm and friendly. Fantastic food. I went for a Japanese dish (Oyakodonburi) and my partner had bangers and mash. Both dishes were delicious. I was asked how much chilli I wanted in mine, which was perfect, and even though I was told it was quite a 'light'dish, there was still far too much for me to finish, so my partner wolfed the rest of it down too. He also said it was delicious. This is a fantastic little boozer; tucked away behind The Kew Bridge Premier Inn off Brentford High Street. So if you're staying at the Prem, definitely eat here instead of their microwaved rubbish; it's two mins around the corner. Much cheaper and so much tastier. All cooked fresh. We will be back for sure!

Found this pub by accident whilst staying around the corner at The Premier Inn, Kew Bridge in Brentford. Went to this traditional London pub for a nightcap and had a lovely evening with the locals and the publican. Being sick of Premier Inn type food - decided to go the Waterman's on our last night in the area for some good-old home cooked, freshly made food! It was a delight and a surprise to see that as a vegetarian, the menu did not consist of the usual pub food - it was diverse and did have some traditional dishes but also had a Japanese section and I was amazed to see the pub had vegetarian haggis which was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, home-cooked from scratch and not expensive!! Would definitely recommend this venue if you want some freshly prepared, home-cooked food

Very small pub with few customers yet the barman could barely bring himself to serve us. Don't ask about food or opening hours as both are complex and available only when it suits the pub to provide. 4 other pubs close by so I suggest you walk on by.

Come here regularly and have always been made to feel welcome. Nicely kept beer and the small back room is nice to have a Thai dinner.

Arrived at the pub on Friday evening about 8.00pm, asked if they were serving food as this is what we really wanted and were told yes. Bought drinks and sat down and were just about to give our order when we were told that couldn't serve us as had a party of 12 booked in in half an hour and as food cooked fresh couldn,t do. Would advise in future if food not available to tell your customers before they commit to buying drinks. We were provided with a small bowl of nachos as compensation but have to say found the pub to be quite unwelcoming. This is the second time we have visited this pub and the atmosphere has been the same on both occasions

Nice quiet little pub, I'd be happy to call this our local. Staff were friendly and polite, prices were reasonable (for London anyway) and the beers were good. No Brown ale, but this isn't Newcastle. A nice pub with a menu full of stuff I would have liked to try if I hadn't just been for dinner.

Had the most delicious well priced meal of two weeks in the UK at watermans. Ate here twice and was not disappointed. Massive portions of curry, tikka chicken and naan bread are standard at this establishment.

Went here after travelling all day with the kids. Had researched before as we wanted family friendly place to relax and eat. On website lovely children's menu...looked promising...however was very rudely told that they have changed menu and do not have children's menu. The person behind the bar was very abrupt and rude. Had it not been so late would have walked out and found somewhere else. Please...if you do not want children/families to come and eat here update your website and remove the children's menu which is still on now!! Don't go here if you want family friendly place. Food was nice... would of liked to sample some of the ales but left nearly choking on meal as felt very unwelcome by barman.

Small traditional pub with an excellent beer garden area and seating outside. We stopped for a bite to eat and I had a really tasty cod, chips and mushy peas. Not an over large choice but to be honest I sometimes find that off-putting as I find it difficult to decide what I want, my wife tells me it is a man thing. We enjoyed our visit, the staff were friendly and as stated the food and drinks were good and at a fare price. In truth you cant ask for much more.

Fine guest ale, didn't want to have the Greene King as we're from Suffolk, Hehe. Food was brilliant pub grub, not pretentious just very good and not over priced. Exactly what we needed after the drive from Suffolk in the rush hour traffic.

It's a absolutely amazing local pub with great service and very warm atmosphere. The food is simply wonderful. Bangers and mash or cottage pie are my favourites but chef Gordon is also serving really dealicius japanese dishes like Yakisoba or green curries. Would highly recommend it. Go on, give it a try.

So quaint, great food, great service. A beautiful area, very close to Hammersmith bridge. I recommend the chicken schnitzel!

It's a lovely traditional pub, kept immaculately clean and well looked after. For lunch I had the chicken curry: a large portion of very tasty food. Friendly staff..
