Just popped in to buy some toast to take away for breakfast……£4 for two anaemic looking, untoasted and thin slices of bread, with more holes than content!

MORE TOAST PLEASE! Eggs Benedict. £9.50 a pop and just one slice of toast, seemed expensive to me! And frugal in appearance. Hardly filling! My partner had the chicken and hummus plate which was generous in comparison, and the same price as mine! I did complain to two waitresses, one wanted £1.50 for an extra extra slice of toast. Bringing total to £11.00, I declined. The other said she would speak to manager. Who never showed his face! Very disappointed.

i wouldn't bother with this place since there are loads of coffee shops on the same street and nearby. i stood for over 3 mins without being acknowledged, no other customers queuing, a handful sat down and 2 staff "on duty" (in quotes cos they clearly don't care enough to actually work), both members of staff looked at me, then carried on chatting, a simple "one minute sorry!" would have been fine but why would i waste time, and my money, in a coffee shop that has such poorly trained staff!? Coffee#1's coffee is way better anyway, and they allow in dogs, unlike waterloo tea, who don't even appear to want human customers!

I met a friend here and had a really delicious brunch. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and we felt comfortable staying for several hours.

The food is always really nice, and the coffee too. The atmosphere is chilled and the decoration pretty. I recommend coming here for brunch or afternoon tea :)

Had brunch here this morning. Scrambled eggs on one piece of toast and a cappuccino, for two cost £22.40. No frills like a few green leaves etc but still 11.20 , a head for a standard fare. Should have shopped around a bit more. Will try other cafes next time.

Poached eggs were perfect as was the smoked salmon they were on; lovely pieces of seeded bread and a thick sauce with brunch. Latte was also, as the young chap behind the counter would say, “awesome” - nice and milky and not boiling hot. Definitely be back.

The drinks & cakes are always beautiful, the iced matcha with coconut milk is a favourite along with the gluten & dairy free pistachio cake, almond cake and some others. By far the best place I've found to get combined gluten free & dairy free cake, always available thus far in all branches. Small menu but still lovely and great for those with intolerances to gluten/dairy etc.

I received a voucher for afternoon tea fir my birthday and was delighted. I booked the cafe in wellfield road as the only indoor space I could book. I was underwhelmed. The foid was average and came with only a small pot of tea. More tea was extra. For the same price you could experience the Celtic manor. Far better

This seems to be shut , what a shame was really looking forward to eating here. Other catering at St Fagans not the same and is like catering anywhere

Everything feshly made to order, very busy at lunchtime with a queue but this speaks for itself. They load the sandwiches and baquettes as much as possible, so good portions

As chains go, Costa Coffee isn't too bad (great choc brownies!) but they need hot chocolate-making lessons at this particular branch. My drink was pathetically weak and, ironically, not half as nice as the hot chocolate I later bought from one of their Costa Express dispensing machines - in Asda. The only time ever I've ever praised a hot drinks machine. Come on Costa! Make all the drinks properly.

The food was ok, not as good as any other Nando’s that I’ve been to. However there were flies everywhere constantly trying to get into the food or drinks. The second member of staff that we told offered to move us to a table near the door and free desserts, however 2/3 of us had finished our food. Not good enough for a newer Nando’s.

NB: This restaurant is now called Dubai Nights. I do not know whether it is the same ownership/management/staff as Sultan, the previous business's name, but at least the business now has a very good council hygiene rating.
