Waterloo Tavern in Gravesham

Can't fault this locally based pub good friendly atmosphere, have not tried the food yet but have heard from others that the food is good.

Been a while but still a great pub

A Absolutely lovely pub with lovely bar staff, everyone is so friendly there as well.

Visited with a group of friends (8) the service was great, the food was well presented and extremely good value for money, the staff were very helpful and friendly, so much so that my group of friends and I are going to book a Christmas lunch get together in December, well worth a visit

Just been to the Waterloo, for a Sunday Roast as my other half is away. all I can say is if you have not been there then change your schedule and give it a go, I had a prawn cocktail for starters and it was fab, more prawns than I’ve had from anywhere I’ve been, and as for the roast four slices of the tenderest beef combined with vegetables that were cooked to perfection plenty of roast spuds and plenty of gravy, what more do you want people, I will be back there next sunday the 19th without fail, see me there and buy me a drink for the recommendation 🥳👍

The best pub in Gravesend by a mile.

Every thing was so well presented for the wake of my late aunt on February 6. Thanks all round for the service received.

The staff were super helpful with getting my wheelchair into the garden....which was lovely after another nearby pub refused to even open their gate!

Friendly barmaid, decent prices, and has pool table and small beer garden / kids play area. Only down a star as ran out of brandy! Updated - 5 stars, we love it..brandy in stock 👌👌👌

Karen runs a great pub here, her food is known to be amazing and extremely reasonably priced. Priced. Some days. Days she even has different baps up on the bar for quid, hard to beat that. It tends to be used by Liverpool's supporters. And there is a nice big play area out back for the kids. There is even a dining room for more formal events or birthday parties etc. I just like it cuz it's friendly and I meet friends that I haven't seen for a while. Every time I come in. There's always a chance you might run into Sandra if you're lucky as well!

Contractors pub . Cheap but top of the line food . Dinner and a pint for under a tenner . For London....that's amazing.

Friendly staff and a lovely outdoor area to take advantage of the summer evenings.

Food was really good especially for the price. Definitely more of a pub atmosphere and mainly local regulars so you do feel a little like an outsider. We went because it was on tastecard but was told after ordering that they no longer accepted tastecard. Which was a little frustrating as they are still active on the tastecard app and site. Regardless, even without the disscount the food was definitely worth it. If you like pub atmosphere and good food for a good price you will love this place.

The food is amazing, large portions beautifully cooked and tasty. Excellent prices. This place is the best food outlet in Gravesend. Forget burger king. McDonald's and chicken takeaways. Come here for quality food.

Comfortable relaxing and most importantly socially distanced

Very good / felt safe , sanitizing and one way system in place , food and drink reasonably well priced my ploughmans lunch was good.

Only one bitter on and it was cloudy. It was called Happy New Beer. I should have known better, with a name like that it was probably out of date. Won't be going back.

I like the Waterloo. I used to live around the corner and I loved having a pint in the Waterloo every now and then. Great staff, nice locals.

Got turned away at 11:30 - do not be fooled friends this place does not open at 10 as stated above. Had to quench my thirst elsewhere. Apneh bundeh at a wedding should take note.

Good solid local with a very good upstairs terrace and a room with bar to hire. Good garden too.
