just went to this place recently absolutely Wonderfull food and customer service served by a young lad who was well trained and helped me to place my order would deffo recommend this place to everyone!!!

I had ordered, it’s was great food and big portions of chips.

Was in the area on family business and fancied chips for dinner, had to find a cash machine because they don’t take card payments for a start, chips were ok but my pie was like warm and so was a fish cake my wife had, a bit disappointed really however I thought the chips were not bad.

Good old fish and chip shop, Can't fault the extremely large portions. 1 portion of chips can feed 4. Lovely.

Absolutely disgusting. The place was full of flies, I didn't see any hygiene precautions taken (the woman was wearing a shirt that was covered in what I can only assume was fat, no apron or anything). It took quite some time to get my mini fish. Chips were okay but the fish was disgusting, I didn't even save it for my cat.

Well worth ordering ahead for a takeaway. You'll need CASH. My favourite Fish n Chip shop for miles around

We have used this chip shop alot but tonight the chicken meat was very poor old almost a brown colour we could not eat and will not order again trav littlethorpe

Never disappoints, freshly cooked fish, wonderfully creamy chips. As good, if not better, than would be experienced at a seaside fish restaurant. Highly recommended.

Never seen a large fish and chips so small! The mushy peas looked like green gravy...never again

Had fish and chips takeaway today and was disappointed. The cod was only passable but the chips were not fresh looking and didn't taste fresh. They were dry and tough on the outside. I cannot recommend on this experience.

Just had fish&chips not long ago, there were spot on lovely fish white, chips were hot lovely eat everything smashing dad &mam loved em to 👌

My husband went to this chippy this evening. I ordered a chick pie which wasn't fit for purpose and the only place it belonged was in the bin. However, after a long day at work and cross I returned it to the shop told the assistant it looked like it had gone off she declined to comment and politely asked if would like another one! I said as long as it's not one that had been warmed several time and it was a fresh one. No apology or reasons why they had served a customer a pie that was clearly overcooked and clearly out of date the gravy was brown the pasty was so hard and smelt quite unpleasant.

Very good food fish and chips was delicious . The taste was same likes sea side fish and chips really awesome

First class chips but the battered sausages battering was uncrispy. :(

Well my partner has liven in this area for 7 years and she told me that the chips where nice well sorry to say this but they wasnt they where hard in middle some of them where over cooked i had pie and chips meal and my partner had fish cake and chips and she didn't even eat 1/4 of what she would normally eat and me i couldnt even stand the the taste of the chips so they got binned the only reason i put one star is because they pie was ok but its brought from pukka pie not home-made and please make sure that your colleague wipes her nose not infront of customers before she handles anybodys food and not washed her hands much apprenticed but other than that great service and good price for what we had maybe give it another try if improved but this time next year depends if around this area in future

i ordered from here tonight I had fish chips mushy peas ... the fish was cold inside the peas was like water and to top it all off put too much vinegar on my chips i would NOT recommend this chip shop to anyone absolutely vile

Last night my sister had some food delivered. Firstly a HOUR before the time she asked! When she opened it she noticed she had the wrong order. She couldn’t be bothered to sort it as she was hungry and is diabetic. A few minutes after she began throwing up! SHE NOW HAS FOOD POISONING FROM THE CHICKEN THAT WAS MADE IN ERROR. This place needs to be checked by food hygiene. Disgusting! If I could give no stars I would.

I just tried fish and chips with curry sauce. Food is tasty and fresh.

We were the first to order, after 4 more people come in and are served and get their orders, we are finally given our food, a small chips I might add... We opened up our chips once we got home to find a small handful, about 20 ish chips, well I say chips, they were greasy and cold and some were still hard in the middle. The garlic mayo tasted off and for a total of £2 I wouldn't even bother again. If I could put a lower rating I would. Never coming back

Fancied a chippy lunch. Had a large chips, sausages and fishcake between 3 of us. Was plenty. Very tasty. Will be there again.

Sorry but having menus saying you do pizza when they don't! And delivery service when they don't! To top that when got my order home was missing the onion rings. Basically poor service let's down the pretty decent food.

Have to wait atleast 10 minutes for some chips and when I order a large bag of chips it is only enough for one person .TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

Best fish and chips in Leicester!

Chips are ok, fish is ok. Service isn't great.

The staff weren't very helpful and both me and my partner were ill the next day from the food. We will not be going again.
