Best fish and chips in town but it doesn't end there, scampi and halloumi were amazing.

Went in last night there was about 6-7 kids behind the counter they all just stare at you, no hello no nothing, the food was awful the Donner meat was so undercooked i had to bin it! No wonder the place was empty, the only decent item I got was a can of coke which was £1.50 so should have gone shop over the road

Same quality but now with social distancing measures in place. They're only as effective as people of course but they're doing all they can and still delivering great chips. We had 2 mini fish, 2 pies , curry sauce and a large chips which was good for us. Was about £15

Last night I asked for Haddock and a cone of chips for my wife and I and it cost £10.60. we only have a chippy tea once a fortnight but sadly that will have to stop now, it's to expensive now on a pension.☹️

Editing my review as not impressed with new management. Cheating customers. Used to be a decent chippy I went today asked for 2 cod. Was told not ready so said I’ll wait. Got home and what surprise. One cod and one haddock which we didn’t order and don’t like

If you go in at night no one acknowledges you my daughter just stood there for 15 mins no one even offered to ask her very rude young staff !!!!

We have been frequenting this place ever since we stumbled upon it. They serve delicious food at a very reasonable price. Staff is courteous and prompt. Quantities are decent. They don't have dedicated parking but people usually park by the road.

Just been here got served by a young lady then she disappeared she came back started serving other customers. 5 lots of customers came in after me and went so I asked about my food she forgot about my order.asked me what I ordered done it for me I got I’m my car looked at my food and my order was rong so had to go in again and wait again service was shocking and I spent £10.75 and it wasn’t worth it .

A neighbour recommended this Chippy to us and I’m so glad she did. We’ve been several times now and it’s just awesome every single time. Hands down has to be some of the tastiest cod I’ve ever had. Batter is always lovely and crispy. Fish is always moist and full of flavour! Chips are always fresh and cooked to perfection. Honestly will not use another Chippy now.

Best KMC (Kebab Meat & Chips) you will ever buy! I love the kebabs but I’m a chip man, and the consistent quality of their chips is second to none. Never been disappointed once, can’t recommend it enough. Good work folks. See you next week 😁👍🥙🍟

Lovely food and very good friendly staff. However service if very very slow. Didn’t seem to be rushing. I waisted 30 just to be served and the que was out of the doors and down the road. Feel sorry for the staff as clearly more is needed.

They may have good fish and chips but they should get their customers to park in the car park opposite not take up all the road parking as residents around cannot even park anywhere near their house as its taken up with chip shop customers.Just pay 30p and park in car park.If you can afford Fish and chips 30p isn't going to bankrupt you.

Great food, never has let me down the years I've been going.

I was recommended by a friend to try this place. The portions were absolutely HUGE! Had a mixed kebab in naan bread. It was very enjoyable indeed! Another family member ordered a chicken burger which was really good too. Will return when I fancy a take out but will need to share next time as there was enough to feed 2 people!!

Haven't been here for quite a while, we had found another chippy nearer home, however our usual one was closed so we went to Hi-tide, we were presently surprised, it was very busy but the queue went down quickly. The food was delicious, we will and have used again.

Friendly staff, good grub at reasonable prices, clean shop and parking over the road. What's not to recommend?

Good quality fish, chips and kebabs that are freshly made. Expect a long queue on a thursday and Friday. All yummy but wish they could make the queue move quicker sometimes!!!

Lovely chippy the only reason I didn't give 5 stars because it can be hit and miss on how much kabab meat you get depending on who serves you. But all seem friendly.

Really friendly staff, food is always hot, fresh & tasty. With social distancing & because the chippy is so popular the queue can be quite long if you go at peak times like a weekend dinner time, the staff work as quickly as they can to help customers, and I don't mind waiting for such tasty food!

Good grub and not expensive, nor.ally a bit of a queue but I suppose that's a good sign as plenty of staff on for the size of the place

Great fish and chips, all food ordered from here has been of good quality and cooked just right. The southern fried chicken burger is one of our favourites ! One of the best local chip shops. If you want a chicken burger or something more obscure like roe then just give them a ring 10 mins b4 you arrive. The staff a friendly and always give you a good portion 😇👍

Long wait, fish cooked fresh, chip & fish still floating in chip fat, when I got home.. Sorry but not impressed..

My last , total let down. Although I spent nearly £30 ,was served with all the end bits in a portion of chips. You know...the small dried up bits with no real chips. Usually, a lovely shop...but will not go again if I can help it.

Chips were perfectly made. Went half an hour before closing time and they made me a fish freshly made. Was so nice as other places only give you what they have already made. Amazing food

Clean and good batter on the fish and chips are also good. Offed naan bread if you don't want your kebab in a pita bread. Chicken kebab is nice.

Had a nasty fall am recovering from. The business operator should signal the danger of.uneven surface by their entrance. Am in so much pain at t hm e moment as a result of the fall. Thanks to a good samaritan who came to ask on me. Most customers mostly white were so insensitive as if a person was in danger. We need love .... One love one nation.

Very disappointed with this chip shop tonight. Not for the first time. Mixed wrap so very small Every time the same lad served us our wrap is so small it wouldn’t feed my 6 yr old. Can’t complain in the shop as it sounds and. Makes you feel embarrassed .. the couple behind us ordered the same as us and his wrap was twice the size. Not happy. I will have to go elsewhere now as I couldn’t imagine asking someone else to serve us.

As always, the fish was very fresh & beautifully cooked. The chips had also just come out of the fryer.Nowhere locally comes anywhere close to meeting High Tides standards.

Ordered a takeaway meal at the weekend for the following Tuesday when there was a Glutin Free option. All went well and to time. Food was delicious.

We prearranged a bulk order of 26 fish and chips, all of which were cooked fresh and ready on time. Everyone commented on how good the fish and chips were and what generous portions were provided. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Went here because Enderby is closed on a Monday. Fish okay but chips were dreadful, I'd swear they'd been reheated, half were inedible.
