Food is cold and as can see in pics way over cooked and so dry and garlic pizza is rock hard could put a window threw with it shocking

Ordered from this place time and I always give them the benefit of the doubt! But it’s just getting a joke here now! I waited nearly over a hour some a simple order which turned up freezing cold and dry! Then the shop just kept avoiding my calls! Avoid!!!!!!!

The food is always good from here. We order a lot. However, lately there is always an issue with delivery. Staff have a bad attitude and no desire to resolve issues. Problems happen. I understand this. However, when they do there should be an attempt to put things right. Twice in a short space of time I have not recieved my order and on another occasion I recorded a completed different order. On all 3 occasions nothing was done to put this right. Poor customer service and reliability

Not had pizza for a while but this was really good. Hot and presentation really good. Had potatoe wedges. Lots in the box. Had some free dips thrown in. Parking across road. Don't use car park by the train station. Have to pay now to park. Will visit again.

I can’t understand all the bad reviews. I’ve been using this pizza place on occasion since 2021 and I’ve not once had a single bad experience up to now in June 2024. Consistently excellent food. Always cooked just right and very tasty which is why when I do take out night. I choose Water Orton Pizza. The pizzas, burgers and wraps, onion rings etc are just fantastic and great portion options. I normally have mine delivered and the drivers are always very friendly and polite. I honestly can’t find a single thing to complain about. I guess I’m just lucky or something I don’t know since there are a ton of bad experience reviews on here which outweigh the positive reviews. For me personally I don’t regret ordering from them because it’s always excellent.

I'm very disappointed, food was old not fresh feels like frozen. Pizza was like a stone.

First time ordering from here, pizza was over cooked and tasteless. I ordered chilli cheese fries and received cheesy fries with jalapeños.. not what I expected at all. Would not recommend

Was 35 minutes late! Took 95 minutes in total and I live less than 10 mins away but unable to drive due to surgery. Was told they were having electrical difficulties but had no communication to advise this, was then told they couldn’t find my order, and the next moment told it was on its way 15 mins ago, was then told they would call driver, and then was told they’d just taken it out the oven!!! I understand if things happen however lying upsets more than the order being late! This isn’t the 1st

Placed an order threw uber , food was estimated 20min over an hour later we were still waiting, so we phoned the store and the man who answered said the food had just left and would be 10min, over half hour passed and still no food so called the shop again to ask to speak to the manger to be told no managers were In the store! The man then hung up the phone, waited a further half hour and still no food so had to ask Uber to step in they tried calling the store and they couldn’t get threw so they cancelled the order as it had been over 2hours! This shop has gone down hill the staff are rude, the girls on the till have no people skills… needs a serious re shuffle because bad reviews out way the good ones! Can honestly say i would never eat here again

Shocking service from a place we used to highly recommend :( Food was over 40 minutes late- the website was telling us it had been delivered. We called up a few times to be told it was a few minutes away but still no food arrived. When it eventually turned up- the delivery driver admitted he’d had it for about 30 minutes- obviously the food was cold by this point. We called up (again) and requested our money back to be told we could have the same order in 20 minutes. We obviously didn’t want to wait 2 hours in total for our food so requested a refund again, to be told someone will come and collect the cold food and money would be returned after, nobody collected the food. We’re extremely disappointed with this service, especially in the current financial climate- tonight was supposed to be a real treat. Won’t be using again- soggy squashed cold pizza pic below

sorry guys we've always had good food from you. you responded well when 2 orders were wrong but the new delivery was not good, half cooked pizza and chicken burger was very poor. not sure if your cooks and providers have changed?

Quality every time great food and speedy delivery

Used to be the go to pizza takeaway but now it's gone down the toilet. Delivery slow, food arrives lukewarm so we have to heat it up, wedges soggy and chicken strips half the size of what they used to be. Not worth the money, might as well buy a frozen pizza.

Food is usually great but today it arrived luke warm and there were only 6 Jalapeño bites when there should be 8

Pizza was as usual no problem..but the potato wedges were quite soft and not very warm so popped them in the oven on a tray to crisp up a bit and the quality of the chicken on the chicken strips wasn’t good ..this is our usual go to order and always perfect but definitely didn’t reach the bar tonight guys .. new Chef ??? So disappointed as always a great review but don’t know what happened tonight ???

Wow this place has really gone downhill! It used to be amazing and we ordered all the time but again tonight the pizzas were overdone and the chicken strips were dry and about a third of the size they usually are! Even the kids wouldn’t eat it! Gutted as this was our go-to pizza place and we liked supporting a local independent business, but will def be looking elsewhere now ☹️

Water Orton Pizza went out of their way to deliver to us, even coming out after midnight to bring a missing item. Their service is outstanding and food is amazing.

Absolutely delicious. Be warned the large is very large. Only 2 of us but fed hubby the next day. It was delicious. Loads of topping. Will be trying the burgers next.

Bad service, drivers too long food was cold day after belly didn’t agree

Order was wrong. There was a drink but no chips with the burger meal. I asked for deep pan pizza I got thin crust. The menu states 8 pieces for Jalapeño nuggets I received 6 pieces. They pre-empted the collection time by 10 minutes for a 15 minute drive for me meaning the food was cold by the time I got home. They didn't seem very busy when I got there so I don't see why the order was rushed, wrong and had bits missing. This is the first time I've been here for a long time because of the travel time and it doesn't seem worth it now for the price and the distance. I'm disappointed, this place used to be so great and I ordered from here regularly.

Quoted up to 45 minutes actually took 85 minutes food was at best tepid. Had to phone twice asking where the food was.

I use this place quite often and it’s normally ok but I ordered a meal deal, asked for no pineapple on one as I’m allergic - waited nearly 2 hours for my order to arrive, there were pineapple all over the pizza - phoned the shop to resolve and got met with an unhelpful attitude considering they sent me a pizza that I am allergic too! Was told I can another one but it would be another 35 minutes! The manager was rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful and he put the phone down on me! So, I’m now left with a pizza I can’t eat that I waited nearly 2 hours for and I’m nearly £30 down for the pleasure! Will never use this place again

Best pizza shop for miles, beats Dominos in price, taste, service. We have ordered for collection at least once a week for two years. Out of all those times we can say only maybe 5 times we were not 100% happy. Its a very busy shop but staff are always pleasant and food is alwsys piping hot. We choose the meal for two which inlydes 12 inch pizza x 2, garlic bread x 4 slices and wedges x boxes always stuffed full, 1.5 litre bottle of soft drink and sauces all included in the really good price of less than £25 (same from Dominos over £65!) Cannot praise highly enough, you must try their menu. Excellent, hope they never close.

Very nice food, generous portions for the price. I order on uber eats but the delivery drivers are from the company and not uber drivers. This means I can confidently say that the staff here are very friendly and I have always had a jovial exchange when receiving my pizza. I would highly recommend and have never had a bad experience here, not even in busy rush hours or holidays such as Christmas eve. The quality has always been consistent and at a superior level, including temperature.

Please check your orders before paying , used to be good but now they charge different amounts each time with the same orders and don’t bring the full order to the door , it’s very disappointing when the service drops after a long time shame

Ordered a large pizza and cheesy garlic bread through Uber, as well as ice cream. Ice cream wasn't in stock (though they refunded cash, but I only found out when I called to see where the food was). Food delivery from ordering took an hour and a quarter (we're 1.5 miles away) by which time the pizza was barely warm. My calls to find out where the food was, were met with disinterest by staff. Pizza was overcooked and garlic bread was bland and flavourless; crusts manage to be both greasy yet dry, almost as if they were stale from being prepped the day before. Awful food, a real disappointment.

Order pizza Saturday still not hear anything from them have not had my order

I have been ordering from Water Orton Pizza for about 5 years now and have always loved their food and service. However, over the last few months, something has changed. There is always an issue when we order now. Either the order is missing items or wrong items or the delivery is about an hour longer then usual. It doesn't matter whether we order through the restaurant itself or Uber Eats, the service is awful. Whenever I have phoned to address the issue, I speak to a young person who clearly could not care less about my complaint. Such a shame as I have recommended Water Orton Pizza to all my family and friends in the past. Can't say I'd do that now.

Pitiful excuse of a salad that cost a £5 for few shreds of lettuce and mushed up chicken. It fitted in the palm of my small hands also put olives In that are not advertised on their own menu, not good if someone maybe allergic to them!! Tried to tell me they have always been this size not true as I have ordered before!! Staff are rude and unhelpful.

Waiting area is dirty , while waiting we could hear the staff's conversation about taking cannabis, the wrong food prices were on the price board , its quite expensive compared to other pizza outlets, but the pizza's were nice

Only used occasionally but used to be excellent but last 2 visits have been awful. Quality of the food is very cheap and it tastes awful both pizza and sides.. I honestly couldn’t eat some chicken I had because it was so fatty. I spoke to the owner who said he has changed suppliers but I guess it is just to make ingredients cheaper and better profits for him ! No more business from me !

I loved this place and was regularly ordering for 2 years but unfortunately i decided 1 time to order through there own website not uber and the pizzas came overcooked I rang to sort the problem and the manager was arguing with me that he checked them and I was basically wrong ! How dare he when my 4 children was complaining it was burnt !my own pizza ( I have jalapeños) was fine so I was ringing to try and get replacements for the children, I ended up putting the phone down and will not order again out of principal... customers always right? Clearly not here ! Shame as we ordered at least once a month

Overpriced, stone cold food was deliverd and absolute applying customer serivec. Orded food for delivery at 7pm 2 mile trip.30min ETA. Called 45 minutes later was told 20 minutes. Called another 40 minutes later to be told the food is on route and will be 10 minutes. 9.15 and no food. These cowboys use thier own delivery drivers via uber and have no idea what they are doing. Always spoke rudely and never apologised. There is no option to leave no stars.

Normally water Orton pizza is quite good,but on this occasion my wife and I were very disappointed..the pizza base was very greasy and too much cheese,after 2 pieces I couldn't eat any more,I felt sick because of the grease...yuk

Poor delivery service no professional mannerism and food quality poor do not buy from this place on Uber eats or anywhere this is very bad and has food missing there shouldn’t really be open for business if it is going to take 2 hours to deliver a pizza.

Absolute joke! Waited 1hour 15 mins so I called to see if my order has left the shop to be told it hasn’t left they haven’t even started my order and told I’ll be waiting another half hour! Every time Iv ordered from here lately it’s done the same thing. Shocking customer service. Their reply was ‘we really busy’ but didn’t mention it was going to take this long to receive my delivery!

So disappointed with our order last night & it’s not the first time. This place used to be the BEST!! We honestly recommended Water Orton Pizza to SO many people!! We regular ordered from here before the first lockdown & hadn’t ordered for a while. We ordered about 2 months ago & the food tasted cheap instead of the usual great quality. The pizza bases have changed and are super thin (it’s an insult to class then as deep pan!) & they’re hard & almost go to powder in your mouth. Not nice at all any more which is gutting. We ordered last night hoping this was a one off but nope, still as awful. £18 plus a 40p surcharge JUST to use their website to order for collection! Better off going to Pizza Hut & getting the £17.99 deal for 2 large pizzas & a side

We have ordered from here several times now, definitely our favourite pizza place in the area... We prefer this over the big brands. The food is so fresh, very tasty, pizza has tons of toppings. They do some great deals and never had any issues with delivery. It's our preferred pizza shop. Highly recommended

Ordered with Uber for food from these guys and long story short, the Uber driver decided he couldn’t be bothered to wait, so cancelled our order! We contacted water orton pizza direct and they were fantastic, they honoured our order with the discount although they didn’t need to and got it delivered to us asap! Not just amazing food from here but amazing service too!

I ordered through uber eats, they cancelled my order and didnt even tell me so i had to ring up and say i have to re order on their website by that time it was to late and had to leave for work so wont be ordering here again

Since new owners have taken over the service and food is dreadful. Ordered online, arrived and they had no idea of my order. When they finally made and gave the order, the pizzas where not cut. The wedges and cheesy chips were extremely greasy and not edible. Will not be going here again!

I am going to write what I never expected to write. So. Everybody knows the quality of this shop. And is more than fair their reputation. Two days ago I tried the Greek style pizza. I am Greek and usually when you read Greek pizza style is kind of... Not as tasty as it should be. I tried the Greek pizza from the guys and wow! Simply amazing! From now on I can recoment it 1000%. Quality? Top Hygiene? Top Taste? Top Well done to all the team
