Greggs in North Warwickshire

This is probably the worst Greggs I have been to. Now we all know what to expect with a Greggs and it's not exactly a gourmet experience. The issue with this is really down to the service. I joined quite a long queue just after 9am to grab a breakfast, it's morning I expect a queue that's not problem. There is only one lady serving and the other taller woman with brown hair is running around filling up putting things on to bake, where as I am sure this is all the things she needs to be getting done it's her body language. It's very much Quick turns slamming the oven door dramatic movements, looking at the queue and just continuing what she is doing with no expression. You can tell she is purposely putting on a show in some sort of protest at their being a queue.. she is not in a rush to support her colleague and the look on her face when she does glance at you in the queue she is thinking 'well I am doing something so you all have to wait' I can't describe exactly what I mean but it does feel very passive aggressive in how she acts. The queue by this point is too the door and their is just such a lack of urgency from the staff there. The lady who is serving is just going through the queue but at a leisurely pace, I'm not expecting her to be running around like a headless chicken but.. you could have a bit of an oomph in your step. She then just shouts out to the queue "Cash only. Internets down' I get that it happens and always happens at the worst time but again it was so blunt. This store depending on which staff are in can be ok (its a greggs they are never overly thrilled in any store) but you can 100% feel that alot of the staff especially the tall lady with the brown hair really are not people people and can't fake they are.

Staff are VERY rude. Speaking down to customers in front of other customers. I won’t be stepping foot there again

Normally have a decent selection of food even at the busy times. As far as Greggs go it’s pretty good!

Very small place foods great staff are friendly and polite

OK for a coffee and cold sandwich but why the fresh bakes are always stone cold is very disappointing. Maybe the shop next-door is a better option.

I love the sausage rolls are lovely.

The best Greggs in Town! Mary and her team are quick and efficient. The shop is always welcoming, clean and well stocked and I wouldn't get my morning Latte, from anywhere else. Well done 👏

Was served by Lynne great customer service, she got me on the greggs app and told me about the meal deals, lovely friendly smile really cheered me up ☺

Bacon Roll and a hot chocolate, bliss now the weather has turned and a £2.50 deal brilliant.

Visited this store today… not at all impressed with the tall assistant behind the counter, think her name was Kerri, she had a very unfriendly arrogant manner, and seemed to be impatient with customers even though it wasn’t busy! I think she must be in the wrong job as she obviously isn’t a people person! Food and coffee good shame let down by the service.

Breakfast baguette and coffee deal is good value,get one early as they soon run out

Shop was empty lady dropped my pasty on the floor looked at me n said do you still want it considering my food just touched the floor no 🤣 then give me the wrong pasty and wrong breakfast so basically no food for work today definitely won't be using again

I have just gone into greggs which was empty, the young girl who was stood behind the counter didn't seem to be having a good day and it shown in her mannerisms and the way she spoke. I asked for a sausage roll and a chicken bake and I got this.... something in gravy. Its not what i asked for and i cant go back to change it either. I definitely won't be going back.

Enough to put me off Greggs. Cheese & onion bake was so undercooked made me feel sick, and the chocolate éclairs cream tasted so off line it had been sat there forever. Staff there wasn't friendly at all either.

The time you go depends on what's available otherwise it'd be good

This is for the management- put the doughnuts in a box for a change. Look at this mess! Really not worth our time and money - make some effort!

Good as far as Gregg's go I just find the one in atherstone never has in stock what you need they hardly ever have pizzas and I went for sausage rolls about 8.30am the other day and there wasn't any! But I love the mint hot chocolate and staff members are polite x

Always good food and great service.

Staff could be more friendly in the morning but I think it's just the cold weather and early starts for the staff ... much nicer during the afternoon

Great little place for a coffee and cake

Hated my experience in greggs, girl with black hair around 5ft (she had bad breath) started spitting on my little sister. Sources claim that her name was paris wallbank

Seem to run out of alot of food items. Get there early lunch

What is there to say about Greggs that isn't already known? Famous for its baked goods, hot (but usually cold) pasties or sausage rolls. In my case, it was two lukewarm overly salty sausages rolls that hit just the spot, but left me feeling dry mouthed and slightly sick afterward.

Greggs is not as good as it used to be.. There isn't much filling in the sandwiches anymore 😕

Even though it was very clean and tidy there was more than 3 in the store which is utterly unacceptable while we're in a pandemic thats why it loses a star. I would say though there click and collect service is great and outstanding thats why it regained a star.

Always good produce and good value. Sausage rolls, pies, pasties and cakes. What's not to like !

Great coffee and bacon roll here. Very tasty and served up promptly, by really helpful staff. They even looked after my bike while I was being served. Great friendly service and very nice food.

I can't have Dairy. But i love pies and pasties... So I am overjoyed to be able to eat the Vegan Steak-bake and Sausage Roll. As well as being able to have a YumYum for the dessert.

Pizza I could eat and eat and eat all day long.

As always a superb service and polite staff. A decent range of products and quick efficient service. The covid 19 measures are excellent and your advised if you breach it. I feel very safe using this store.

Went in for a tuna crunch today normally OK. But today hardly any filling

I go into Greg's atherstone most at 8am mornings to get a coffee and all the pastys and sausage rolls are all stone cold the only thing that is worm is the bacon and it doesn't taste that good. I think it is because they have the air conditioning blowing directly on to there hot pastry counter. Poor service all round.

Last time I was in Greggs, I had a sausage roll. Well, they call it a sausage roll. All pastry, and next to no meat. We'll, they call it meat, but it didn't taste off ANYTHING. Sorry , Greggs - I won't be back

Its handy and i like the food but its not always hot. The counters in all Greggs are much smaller now. Much preferred the old set up

It's ok the food good and staff are friendly and it's nice and clean the only thing is the seating area a bit small and there is no Wi-Fi

Friendly and popular Greggs, part of a firm that has been operating for over 80 years nationally. Bakery shop next door competes well. Parking is best at one of the town's car parks as there is limited parking outside.
