Ponte al día con tus amigos para almorzar. Pequeño local pero hacen buen uso del espacio. Tardamos un poco en pedirlo, pero no tuvimos demasiada prisa. Mi chocolate caliente vino en una taza picada. Se ofrecieron a reemplazarlo, pero había tardado un poco en llegar, así que solo pedí otra taza y la vertí. Era muy suave y encantador sin ser dulce, pero la taza era pequeña. Mi ensalada de queso de cabra era preciosa, pero de nuevo muy pequeña; esperaba más por el precio. Las tortitas también eran pequeñas. Como que me fui sintiendo como si hubiera gastado mucho pero todavía tenía hambre. Una bonita gama de pasteles cerca de la puerta, pero no probé ninguno. Solo hay 1 baño, así que había una cola. Fácil de llegar en transporte público.

We had a great lunch here. Lovely food. Excellent service. Decent menu. Very accommodating indeed to a seven week old baby. They really went the extra mile. We are fans..

No seats on entry so were asked to wait and were then left alone for 15 minutes. Would be nice for someone to just acknowledge you are still there. Eventually shown to a shared end of a large table downstairs which as I had not seen anyone leave must have been free all along? After that the service was prompt and polite. Quickly served coffee with a card explaining the origins of the beans. Coffee could have been hotter. Varied breakfast menu. We chose eggs Benedict and eggs florentine. All eggs poached to perfection. My spinach was a little too salty for my taste. There is a leak from the ceiling. Drips on to the wooden floor. Warning A Frame sitting on it, couldn’t understand why there was no receptacle to catch the water? Just an observation. Reasonably priced and lovely breakfast. Bought a custard flaky bake as we left. Equally delicious. Would happily go back for breakfast.

If you don’t want to be ignored by staff despite telling you they would seat you in 15 minutes then seating numerous more ‘suitable looking people’ while you wait 40 minutes don’t bother. When they eventually squashed 3 of us on a 2 person table, we left because the experience had been spoilt. Food looked nice but never got chance to try.

Delicious coffee and breakfast at The WatchHouse! We had poached eggs with avocado and salmon on sourdough bread - so good! The coffee strong and so good! The place was packed so we were in the basement with other patrons, which was fine.

Had a take away bacon bun one day and a 'sit I'm granola & green yogurt the next, both excellent, but particularly liked the granola. My only criticism would be both days the tea was as if the water only looked at a tea leaf...needed a bit more time to add a bit of depth yo the colour and flavour as it was very nearly just hot water and milk!

A wonderful coffee shop, lovely decor and clean. The service was great , I ordered the banana vegan cake which was out of this world. My husband ordered the porridge which was excellent too.

Light, airy, stripped back cafe with good drinks and great for breakfast. We wanted to stay as the lunch looked so good too.

We mourned the day when the Watch House closed during lock down and celebrated with their full hour when it reopened!!This is the best go to place for breakfast coffee brunch and artisan cakes in the east end. - we must call in at least 3/4 times a week and have an immense loyalty to Faye and her the staff of baristas and servers who work fully tirelessly masked - to keep the dining areas spotlessly clean and safe to enjoy the new normal of dining. An added joy to coming here is that it’s dog friendly! There’s always a welcoming bowl of water when ever our Boston joins us. Now to the food..... needless to say we’ve tasted most of the menu - which is now QR . The Watch House app allows is a little problematic at times offers payment options and a loyalty card build up. Highly recommend the full house and veggie full house; new on the list poached eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise over toasted muffin. The baristas are second to non!! Their coffee now roasted in the watch houses own roaster in Bermondsey has a really nutty caramel taste - perfect latte! Love the artisan cakes especially the clementine and polenta cake. Would recommend the burrito and sausage rolls for lunch on the go - There’s always an eye smile, friendly service, and food that’s needed to brighten up and keep our best coffee shop open Thanks guys!!

Good breakfast and excellent coffee. The staff and service were fab too. We had the buckwheat pancakes and the croque Madame. The pancakes were perfect, the croque Madame was ok, but the mushroom duxelle could have seasoned better.
