There are many Indian cuisine sports on Brick Lane-fee possess the charm and flavors of Brasserie. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food speaks for itself. Garlic naan for the win don’t sleep on the coconut rice!

Best curry house in brick lane. Hands down. The curry’s are out of this world good and nothing is too much for Salim and his staff. We’ve been coming for years and always greeted with a smile!

Authentic food. A bit pushy in service. We had lamb chops onion bhaji, seekh kebab for starters and butter chicken, lamb Bhuna, for mains. Sides were tadka daal and palak paneer. Palak paneer was unexpectedly sweet to taste. Rice and naan lovely.

The food was excellent. We had the lamb biriyani, a first for me, and it was so tasty. The chicken korai was as we like it. We liked the atmosphere and music. We'll be back for sure!

Our experience was so terrible that we didn’t even get to order food. The host at the entrance offered complimentary drinks with our meal if we decided to come in. We went inside, ordered drinks, reminded the waiter about the host’s offer of complimentary beverages, and ordered two small dishes. The waiter then said that our order was too small and that the drink offer wouldn’t apply in that case. This felt odd, so we decided to leave. As we were leaving, someone from behind the bar approached us and asked why we were going. We explained the situation, expecting an apology. Instead, this waiter or manager started yelling at us, saying that if we wanted snacks, we could “GO TO MCDONALD'S around the corner,” and proceeded to rudely tell us to leave, claiming they run a “serious establishment.” This was the worst and most humiliating dining experience of my life. Please, spare yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. Take note that all the negative reviews mention the same things: rudeness, attempts to deceive, and promotions that suddenly stop being valid. Unfortunately, this is the sad truth about this so-called "restaurant." We should have read the reviews before agreeing to go in :( Our experience was so terrible that we didn't even get to order food. Ducked into this place after an East London walking tour. The food was amazing and plentiful. There are many storefronts on Brick Lane - this is one worth stopping for!

Half decent food, less than half decent waiter. Bloke clearly woke up on the wrong side of bed. Needs a holiday or at least a day off.

The food was fine. The atmosphere was terrible. Staff were consistently interrupting our meal, mostly to be argumentative with our table or to complain to us in detail about a previous patron. I couldn’t wait to leave and I won’t be returning.

Absolutely shocked at the way we were spoken to by one of the waiters. They had mistaken what was ordered and then were very argumentative when this was questioned . After this, there had been another, separate disagreement that had nothing to do with us and the same waiter came back into the restaurant swearing and shouting about that situation which made the atmosphere very awkward and uncomfortable, was then asked how my meal was and I honestly replied and was then told to ‘mind our own business’ shocking. Would like to add all other members of staff were friendly and apologetic for this one member of staff. Won’t be returning!

Very good Brick Lane experience. We checked in with a few different restaurants and had established the baseline of 20% off plus free first round of beer (Cobra/ Kingfisher) as standard. What attracted us to this restaurant was the fact that it was full and it took some negotiating to get them to match their competitors' offers. Ambience and hospitality did not disappoint. Friendly staff and beers came promptly. Food equally good plenty of it, well prepared, fresh and well flavoured. Two of us shared the Tandoori mixed, Chicken Bhuna, mushroom rice and a Peshawari naan. We left well fed and thoroughly happy with our experience. Would come back. Including the discount and the free beer we spent £30 per head, not bad for the experience and the quality.

Wow!!! Gem of a place! Want proper Indian then this is the place to visit. Four of us went a a week ago and absolutely blown away! We started with the popadoms and chutneys followed by the must try prawn and chicken chath (absolutely delicious) Then comes the chops ( ten ten) followed by mouth watering mix grill. Then to top of the perfect meat bhuna( my oh my!!!) This is my fortnightly joint no miss!!! Priced is spot on for the quality and the service!!! Do visit won’t be disappointed Oh yeh by the way kept the carbs low and opted for the perfect chapatis!!!

We popped in for dinner after attending an event at Rough Trade. Just a brilliant experience from start to finish. Welcomed in with a smile, drinks immediately, papadums immediately. Starters and mains arrived fast and were hot and delicious. I had the lamb bhuna which was mouth-watering.

After 30 years of Indian food all over the world, absolutely the most delicious and best Indian food I’ve ever had.

This is my new local curry house now we been coming here with friends and family at least once a month and I will not be going to any other curry house I can not recommend it enough. Some of the best curry I had. Please do visit and you would be disappointed.

Brick Lane Brasserie was a delight everytime I have visited. Throughout the years they have gotten better and better taste wise as well as service wise. Nice warm music, adds to the cultural aspect of things. Would definitely recommend and be coming again.

We had a lovely experience at the Brick Lane. We were greeted warmly and were helped to seat our 94 year old mom. We had the lamb goa and the sizzling lamb tikka. The chicken pasanda was also delicious. Naan was very good and we left very satisfied and happy. Highly recommended.

The food was good, but the service was a bit awkward. Servers kept coming every few minutes interrupting and asking if food was good. Inside it was very narrow in space.
