Well-stocked and what I expect from the chain! Lovely relatively cheap, comforting fast food. Hot food is sometimes a bit lukewarm but I’d still scran. In this visit, I had the chicken teriyaki yaki soba which was yummy. But they need to work on their rewards app that they advertise outside, because I’ve scanned my QR code everytime, the cashier says it’s gone through yet I have not received any points …

went in at 21:45 for the 50% off sushi - got charged normal price and when asked, the cashier said the 50% starts after 22:00 (???) - have you changed your operating hours in Oxford? if you have please update it on google because that is false advertisement. If you haven't, then one of your staff here has gotten an issue (an oriental looking male no taller than 5'5 working on cornmarket street oxford at 21:45)

Ordered the pumpkin yakisoba through delivery twice and both times they decided that the burnt pumpkin croquettes were okay to use. Unless this is the usual quality?

Everyone cuts in line, no rule, no etiquette, and the staff is totally ignoring that

Food taste as it would from a kept box. Below average. We ordered two items, banto box and sushi box. The server asked us whether to eat here or take away. They charged 1 pound more for eating here without informing us prior about the same. The place is dirty to sit and eat. People had left half eaten boxes around.

We tried different things - sushi, dragon rolls, noodles and mochi. Everything was good.

Wasabi in Oxford is fantastic. Great Japanese food, ready to go and quick easy service. Nice dining space upstairs and convenient.

Really bad salmon which is mushy in the rolls and the nigiri has really badly cut salmon, even a newborn baby could cut slice better salmon than this. Also, you have to pay extra to eat in. 💀💀💀💀💀💀 This is a tourist trap!!! Don’t eat there. They probably bot and bought their reviews.

This onigiri is honestly so mid. Just kidding, it’s atrocious and revolting. It tastes so a$$ and the packaging is also so a$$. They wrap it diagonally parallel to the sides of the triangle which aren’t even even sides. It’s not even an equilateral triangle. And the 1st step is literally not even in the middle. my seaweed broke. And this establishment must go broke serving this atrocity. This piece of food is cataclysmic to people’s stomachs, it may even cause cancer. Smh, it definitely fakes its reviews.

The rolls were fresh, but not the tastiest I've ever had, probably price = quality here. If you like fast food and want to eat Japanese cuisine, then this is the place for you.

First floor sitting area smells really bad. You guys charging for eat in extra and WiFi is really bad. I REALLY like this place in general but you need to fix WiFi for the guests and the smell pleases.

Never enough tuna, and certainly nothing more interesting than either that or salmon, but the best of the popular high street Japanese chains.

Very lovely place! really lovely inside and the atmosphere overall is really nice! Food is warm and fresh and i DEFINITELY recommend The Sweet chilli chicken!! it was £8.25 which was a fair price for the amount they gave!!

Sad to report that I had their salmon wrap bento supposedly seared in August last year and got my first food poisoning experience ever, ended up in the Oxford U. ER for 5 hrs. My stomach wasn't right for a few days, had to chug down the equivalent of the US brand Peptobismol for a week. Haven't still the nerve to touch any sushi or anything raw fish for a while. And I'm Asian with a pretty strong gut constitution, used to eating raw fish & all. Thankfully it was at the tail end of our 3 weeks vacation in the UK. I strongly advise to avoid getting anything raw there in the afternoon as been sitting out even if in their cooler all day.

I always go here after a day in Oxford, as the takeaway selection is absolutely lovely. A trip isn't complete without Wasabi. (Also a lot cheaper than expected)

The store itself is futuristic looking which might attract customers however I found that the meals especially the rice dishes were not warm enough and tasted off putting. My son almost threw up after eating the curry and katsu!

This restaurant was like the McDonald's equivalent of Asian food. After eating I almost threw up. I got the Chicken Katsu Curry and you couldn't have called that chicken.the chicken was also soggy because they leave it in containers for you to grab. They say it's freshly made every day but you might eat something that's been left out for all day. The curry was too salty. I don't know if it was on the sushi or the food but I almost threw up after. Highly don't recommend it. Worst experience of Asian food ever.

Only had deliveries. Food quality is good. I'm not sure how convenient the bundles are. You can get the same stuff for cheaper at itsu. The service needs to be improved as you get the idea that people are unhappy working there. Overall, it was nice Japanese chain food.

It’s kind of a fast food place I really like their food Sometimes it’s crowded but it’s Oxford, so everyone going here should expect that. However, if you like sushi or bentos then I’d highly recommend this place.

The food item that I ordered was really good and tasted amazing! The only thing I would change is the portion size - it was not enough for me. The price was reasonable though, so I guess that makes up for it. I would order 2 sushi rolls instead of just 1 next time.

Quick service with nicely presented food. There is a lot of extra seating upstairs if you wish to dine in. Makes for a good spot to grab a quick meal.

It is a fast food restaurant, but with sushi or Asian food. The sushi is fresh and of good quality. Same with salads. A menu + water costs less than 10 pounds, there are dessert options too. It is an excellent option for tourists, to eat well and not pay so expensive.

There are more meals than expected, including sushi rice bowls, udon noodles and various side dishes. The prices are also affordable, making it a good choice for a meal on the go.

The staff look so unhappy at this Wasabi, the customer service is very poor unfortunately and ruins the whole experience. It would be so nice if they could be friendly and smile, I wonder if they are not being treated very well.

Me and my friend went and they rang up a vegan box but it was was actually chicken. I’m not blaming the staff but I think there should be more vigilance over what contains what in each section

A selection of Japanese food which you select from cabinets, then it's heated up if necessary. Eat in at refectory tables or takeaway. If you want some good food in a hurry, and you like Japanese, then it's great !

First tried in Paddington Station and one of the best I have had and it was a reasonable price. Great selections too. I had katsu chicken with rice, mixed salmon nigiri and some others. I wish you open one near us (Bristol or Bath).

Particularly disappointed with the miso soup, it's very bland, I can barely taste anything. The sushi was okay

The only Japanese I've seen in our area selling the triangles. Nice food, healthy but not much of an atmosphere. Then again, it's not a restaurant.

What they have is nice and quite well prepared for what has become a "fast food joint" but their menu is extremely restricted: if you like chicken you're laughing! They do gyoza, but not the most popular varieties (pork, prawn), only veg amd chicken. They do sushi, simple and reasonably presented, but only a couple of prawn, the rest is just salmon! They've never heard of eel or even tuna, let alone everything else you can use, just salmon and veggies. The curry is nice though. And the mochi are gorgeous! Love to know who makes them so I can buy them direct for home and get my food from somewhere that actually provides a traditional selection... No takoyaki -- where do I get my octopus?! For eating in: 'atmosphere' is clean, sterile, uninteresting, unwelcoming, more of a "takeaway but with a place to sit if you don't want to let it get cold."

Acceptable sushi at an acceptable rate (when you get it with the 50% discount). Do go 30 minutes before closing for the discount.

I bought some of my meals here today for take away. All of my food were very delicious and the sushi was very appetising.

Placed an order on Uber Eats, 4 salmon hasomaki sets and 4 chocolate mochi. Only received the salmon sets, meaning I missed out on half my order. Tried calling the store for a good half an hour with no response. As a fast food worker who's worked on packing delivery orders, it's a joke to leave out half of someone's order. It's a shame as well because I know the food is good quality, but it's god awful service

My friend and I found the service to be quick and the quality of the food was high too. The toilet was well maintained and can be accessed with a code once you've purchased food. There's a busking spot outside the front door where a violinist was playing, so it was nice to hear them while enjoying the food here. The place felt empty and cold though, but that's probably due to how the interior is designed. Of course the heating was sufficient and there were others, but maybe that's just me.

It was my second-time food ordered from online delivery. It was quickly delivered and delicious food .

Decided to dine in at around 4:30pm today! The dining area is absolutely beautiful and it wasn’t too busy, I would definitely recommend the katsu chicken curry meal for first timers! also it’s great to see how diverse the team are! 10/10 customer service!

The curry pork chop in this shop is delicious! And at least you can eat hot food here in winter, which is really comfortable! The hot and sour burger inside contains rice noodles and seafood. The sour and spicy taste is very similar to Thai food!

Worst ever! I had my delivery cancelled twice! Stay away from this shop. Go elsewhere! Time wasters!

Terrible quality chicken in katsu curry. Like a cheap chicken burger, very processed, not nice texture and not crispy outside. Sauce and rice ok.

Served me meat when I asked for veggie food. Contacted customer service, and they didn't care.

This was an okay place. The food was tasty, especially the katsu curry. However, it’s disappointing that they no longer serve this out of a large heated container and it now comes pre packed. The food is cheap which is good, but the hygiene of this place was not good. The seats especially are gross, and the floors and tables were dirty. It wasn’t too busy here, but I wouldn’t come back.

The food quality seem to have gotten better. 50% discount after 8:30pm daily and a discount for students is available. Very convenient and useful if you want to quickly grab a meal

Good prices with student discount and loved both the vegan and the normal salmon. I am glad that the food items are still reachable by hand rather than the automatic screens that other shops are installing. Prices for sit in and out is quite different so having this lowered will make me want to sit in more.

Good for a quick eat, decent food

We were walking round Oxford on a walking tour with a guide and afterwards wanted to eat noodles. We found this place and decided to try it out. We liked the food and the young atmosphere. There are USB power outlets available on the tables, so a good place to connect to Internet or use laptop while enjoying food on your own or with friends.

Good food but prices are creeping up, if memory serves currently more expensive than the branches in Zone 1 in London. Decor and service remind me of the movie The Fifth Element.

Now the food is well worth a trip, for healthier cheap eats and something more substantial than just a kokoro. There was lots of protein in both the noodle pots and dishes served BUT the one thing I will not accept is the state of the toilet. No loo roll, dirty floors, no soap and scared to even dream of what was on the actual seat. The staff work hard and it shows in all their food. However the loo really needs either a dedicated cleaning shift or not being for public use at all. I don't expect it to be spic and span but basic needs met is an essential requirement I.e. loo roll. So take a packet of tissues with you when you go out to wasabi or any place in general so you don't end up in an awkward situation.

Really great sushi. Both the quality and selection and quality of all of the sushi is brilliant (I would argue better than itsu for example) and also very delicious hot meals e.g. noodles etc. Nice and relatively spacious seating area with two levels. Definitely would recommend coming after 19:30 to get it half price, as then it becomes very good value and there are still a decent number of options available. Just a heads up it does not apply to hot meals though.

Great food, lots of seating. However just before we were about to leave, there was a fire alarm that confused everyone upstairs. We didn't have any direction of what was going on.

Wasn't overly impressed with the sushi. Also a bit of a shock when they add over £1 per item when you 'dine in' and all you get for that is a tray. It still comes in the same box and you still have to clear your own table.

We always get sushi when in Oxford or sometimes travelling to Oxford just for wasabi sushi. Always good, fresh, but staff needs more training in customer service. They never smile back, always felt like they don't enjoy serving you.

Not as nice as before where the staff smiled at you and the food was yummy and hot. Now the food is luke-warm, the staff are not helpful in if you ask them to write it up in the microwave. Staf⁶f don't smile. Basically it was a very frosty experience and am really disappointed 😞

They seem to have changed the recipe for the sweet chilli chicken, which I used to really enjoy. I've now contacted the office to ask what is going on with this. The member of staff behind the counter was really nice and friendly, but I didn't finish the food this time.

One of my fave casual places to eat in Oxford. Super convenient, clean, atmospheric and friendly. There's plenty of options for different diets, and a hot food counter too! Great quick spot to have lunch and people watch
