Pizza Pilgrims in Oxford

The pizza is delicious, but the service is slow and the pizza is not cut and difficult to cut.

Not your usual pizza place different flavours we had eight Cheese pizza and a meat one Not your usual meat feast but was very tasty staff very welcoming and looked like they enjoy their job's the only thing that let it down was the 12.5%service charge I don't think it should be on the bill I always leave a tip anyway if food and service is any good if I'm in the area will go again

What a lovely boxing day treat! first time at this place after searching where to go for pizzas and this came up. I looked at the pictures and reviews looked great so thought to give it a go. Im a fussy eater and I know my pizzas and wow these were amazing!! we also had the iced tea and lemonade and they were so tasty, one of the best ones Ive ever had. The design of the restaurant was really cool and the service was amazing. We were served by Jamie in westgate oxford he was very attentive and friendly. We need more people like him! 10/10 experience will deffo be back! Thank you!

Good pizza but rubbish attitude from staff who really didn't seem at all bothered about giving good service or a positive experience.

Delicious pizzas, thin bases, good choice of toppings, and pizza crust dips. Pizzas were the right size to enable you to order a side as well, which we'll remember to do next time we visit. Free arcade games were available to keep the teenagers happy.

I just went today on 23/12/2023 to pizza pilgrims in Oxford and I as always I had the best pizza ever amazing quality amazing service and perfect atmosphere. If you looking for a best pizzeria in Oxford go there , I wanna say thanks a lot to all the staff especially Ben and Jamie to provide me the best experience ever So don’t miss the chance to come here and enjoy it . ❤️❤️❤️

The pizza is of good quality, like the ingredients. Unfortunately the amount of toppings is steadily decreasing to the point it is just a margarita with a couple of bits on top. Service could be better, considering they just wash the cutlery by dipping them in a jug of hot water. Not sure how hygienic this is.

Great experience! Really great for children. Our child can be a bit chaotic. Anna and Katie are really patient and even gave us a plate of pizza dough for him to play with. Good pizza too, unexpected from chain. Thanks

I ordered the double pepperoni pizza, the crust was extremely soggy yet somehow had very little tomato sauce. Will not be going again.

Pizza Pilgrims in the Westgate in Oxford is awesome! We went in for lunch this Sunday with our dog and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Carys did an amazing job serving us and the pizza there is really good quality. Love it, go every few weeks, would recommend!

Fab range of gluten free food. Carys was fab. Service definitely with a smile.

The atmosphere and the service are amazing and fast! Our waitress Carys made sure we're were taken care of and that everything was good. The pizza is made in a brick oven which makes the crust perfect every time. All the toppings are fresh! Highly recommend.

fantastic service from Harry, and the pizzas were proper good. music was draining, venue felt like it took a lot of my energy rather than restoring it, but that didn't dampen my experience much.

Amber was amazing! Food was delicious. We waited a bit longer than expected but we weren’t in a hurry… I would just point out that the music was a bit too loud…

Great Xmas works team meal here last night. We all had different pizzas and it is always such a great atmosphere. (Fyi the pizzas we had were: vegan nugja, margharita extra, mushroom & truffle, double pepperoni, and 8 x cheese). It was my second time here as once with a friend so suggested it. We all enjoyed and had fun whilst we opened our secret Santa. Drinks were lovely too - would recommend both the Prosecco, & the iced tea. Good value. Service very good. Attentive, polite and professional. Thank you. Highly recommend.

absolutely perfect service from everyone on the pizza pilgrims team. i will be returning whenever i can and i am very impressed with the menu choices, i would especially recommend the smoked mozerals balls with a lovely chilly jam sauce smothered on them. i would also highly highly recommend the double pepperoni and spicy honey pizza, this is a great option to have on the menu and every time i have purchased this item it has been a 10/10 meal. Nice place. Disappointed with the choice of pizzas. Had the veggie one. Lovely fluffy, crisp crust but the rest was very soggy. My daughter had a margarita which she said was lovely.

Great pizza's here and great fun service. The dough is great and the atmosphere too. Some pizzas are a bit rouge but quality is still high. Which is all that matters. Would recommend the standard pepperoni one's!!

Pizza Pilgrims makes lovely food. The pizzas we had were excellent and the salads were uncomplicated, but good. The service from the staff was also good.

Booked for 6pm and said we had to leave at 6.45pm. Arrived and ordered immediately and asked if pizzas could be bought by 6.20 and told this would be fine. There were only 2 other tables occupied so it shouldn’t have been a problem. A family arrived just after us and their pizzas arrived promptly so at 6.25 I asked how long our two pizzas would be and was told 4 minutes. Fifteen minutes later still no food so told the waitress we had to go as we had to leave by 6.45 and she just rolled her eyes and said nothing. Shan’t be setting foot in there again! UPDATE: I appreciated Pizza Pilgrims reaching out and apologising and understand sometimes it can just be a bad day. Have to say my previous experience has always been very good there so looks like this was an unusual one-off. I will give them another go.

Best place to eat in Oxford. The manager in charge was extremely amazing! (short, curly hair and moustache). He brought the pizzas and handled them very delicately. He was doing exactly the same to the rest of the tables aswell. Clearly he loves his job, but would be nice if at least he could fake it so we dont feel bad about our own! he's even great at the basics. The waitress that took our order (Olivia), very beautiful. Always checking back, service extremely fast, she brought the bill as soon as we asked for it and on top of that they added 12.5% service charge which was more than reasonable. They seem to all care alot about their job. The rest of the waiters were just walking around smiling constantly. We even dsaw the guy that was making pizzas eating pizza, this shows the food is great! You will gain more and more customers if you keep this up! It seems this place is run by a bunch of amazing, beautiful, wonderful people.
