Jojo's Cafe Bar in Oxford

I wanted some tasty for lunch and cheese and sundried tomato toasties did not disappoint it was delicious also so was the espresso martini highly recommend this place. Will be going back. Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅

After reading so many glowing reviews, we chose to hire out JoJo’s Café Bar to celebrate my 30th birthday. From the first point of contact we were met with warmth and enthusiasm by Jonathan & Josephine, who really went above and beyond to help us plan the evening out. On the day they rearranged the layout to accommodate everyone, allowed us to put up our own decorations up, play our own music, and more. Everyone was made to feel really welcome and comfortable thanks to the excellent service from all the staff. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and fun throughout. The freshly made pizzas were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. A number of gluten-free ones were also made and clearly labelled so no one went hungry! There’s also a huge range of drinks available, including some delicious cocktails. And on top of all of this everything was really reasonably priced (especially for Oxford!!). For anyone looking for to hire out a venue for the evening I would 100% recommend JoJo’s!!

I just got back from an evening with a friend spent in JoJos and honestly, this place has the best service I’ve ever experienced after living in Oxford for years. It felt like being welcomed by an old friend, even though this was my first time!! The drinks were lovely, the food was great and I had the best night. I arranged a surprise 40th birthday celebration at JoJos for c35 people and the venue and the whole event was perfect! The venue is large enough for a largish group of people, but it still feels intimate and fun. I love the lighting and the décor and we were able to put some decorations too, to make it extra special for our event. Jonathan and Jo looked after us so well, whilst we planned this surprise event and also throughout the evening of the event. The drinks and cocktails were wonderful and the pizzas were delicious. We arranged to have a live pianist for ½ of the evening, followed by a DJ later on. Both worked perfectly for the venue. Overall, I am delighted that I chose JoJos for this special occasion and I will look forward to enjoying visiting JoJos again in the future and arranging more events there. Thanks JoJo!

Had a lovely evening at Jojos's with friends from work for leaving drinks and great pizza. Jonathan and his team were very welcoming and looked after us really well. Prices were very reasonable and I can highly recommend this cosy bar for a private function and excellent service.

We went here for a drink on Saturday night and had a great time! The staff made us feel very welcome and the cocktails were delicious - we'll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends!!

My boyfriend and I stopped off here last Saturday and had a great experience. The service was amazing and attentive and there was live music too! We ordered a pizza to share (great sized portions) and a cocktail each, it was all high quality and a good price. We would recommend this to anyone in the area!

I used to come here all the time having some of Oxford's best food (gone trufflin pizza 😋) and beer (look out for the offshore). I enjoyed so many fun events with the friendly owner and other patrons. Came back recently after a while and the food is just as good as i remember and the atmosphere is as lively as ever.

I had my 21st at JoJo’s, and I cannot recommend it enough as a venue. Jonathan and Josephine, the owners, are lovely – they were so accommodating and helpful in the lead-up to the event and did everything they could to tailor it to my vision. On the night, Jonathan was amazing at managing the party and keeping everything under control at the bar. We had pizzas – which were delicious (!) and there was lots of choice – and there was a great variety of drinks. The venue itself is fab – cool atmosphere and I loved the lighting! – and a great size. I had 50–60 people and it always felt full but never crowded. There was space to dance (I used a playlist, but DJ was an option) and also to mill around and chat. JoJo’s made my 21st better than I could have possibly imagined, and lots of my friends said it was the best party they had been to – I certainly had a fabulous time. Thank you SO much, Jonathan and Josephine – I will be back very soon!! :)

Popped in with some friends before visiting the Antep Kitchen - we loved it so much that we went back after dinner. Really lovely place and Jonathan made us feel so welcome. Will return soon 🙂

Fantastic place! I really cannot recommend it enough. My friend and I popped in here by chance and were received so warmly that coming back was a given. We had great cocktails, pizzas (vegan options available), and even watched the rugby final from a very cosy sofa. I’m looking forward to attending the quiz nights they have advertised, but also just to enjoy the great atmosphere!

Whilst away on a rare child free weekend with my husband we just happened to walk past this cosy looking bar and were enticed by the happy hour drinks. So pleased we did. What a trendy little bar so beautifully done out and the friendly host I’ve ever met. Yummy drinks too. I wish we had a place like this back home.

We are so glad that we happened upon Jojo’s! We had just arrived in the UK, and Jonathan (the owner) welcomed us so warmly. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and it was also very affordable. We had a terrific pizza, garlic bread, shortbread, and ice cream, and all were excellent. It has a fun and kind atmosphere, and we highly recommend it!

I have been visiting since the World Cup. One of the best places for a laid back evening. Jonathon and Josephine are excellent, attentive hosts. As an example of their hospitality, Jonathon had gone above and beyond by looking after some heavy luggage I had when I returned from abroad, after which he filled me in on all the local news! In addition, They run some awesome movie nights on Tuesday and I music events quite regularly. Their pizzas are fresh and the toppings are really high quality! Couldn't recommend enough.

We passed this bar on the way to our restaurant and it was the cocktails sign pulled us in. So glad we had some drinks before and after our meal - they were excellent. But as importantly Jonathan is an excellent and attentive host and I would highly recommend a visit. Next time I am visiting Oxford I will return for more cocktails and try their pizzas out! Rock the Parma pizza was crazy good for a place that is not even a specialised pizzeria… Thin crust, combination of cured ham, rocket and balsamic is delightful. Goes well with the Pilsner on tap! Highly recommend!

We love Jojos pizza, vibe and service so much we hired out the whole venue for a family celebration with friends. The pizzas are unbelievably good - so fresh and utterly delicious. Plenty of gluten free options too. Jonathan and his team give the best service. Relaxed, happy atmosphere. We had a blast. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Me and my father visited here before going to see a gig at the O2 Academy. We was greeted with a warm welcome enjoyed a drink with delicious pizzas. If you’re in the area, a local, passing by on your way to a gig make sure you visit JoJos cafe bar, can’t recommend it enough!

Johnathan the owner is so accommodating and welcoming, drinks are reasonably priced, even more so with the happy hour deals, such a warm environment/atmosphere, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if your i. Oxford!!

I found this bar to be a very neat little place with a great atmosphere. The door is wheelchair accessible and I made it to the loo with some help. There is an extensive pizza menu with a gluten free option. There is also a nice bar for drinks. Will review again when I have tasted more of their wares. The owner is very accommodating and the bar can be hired for events. Very cozy all in all with a chill playlist !

I went to Jojo’s only last week for the first time and loved it! Jonathan is the nicest man in Oxford, the place is cozy and with character, and the Happy Hour is brilliant! The pizzas didn’t disappoint either. Will come back!

Had a lovely evening with an every growing large group of friends, accomodating late additions with fuss. The pizzas were fantastic and the service was very quick considering size of the group, very friendly people, doing a great job. It's cosy without feeling cramped. Look forward to our next visit.

Visited here last night for the first time and i shall definitely be returning. The owners were incredibly welcoming, pizzas were cooked to perfection and the cocktails were delicious (especially the mai tai), all for a very reasonable price.

Jojo’s is the true spirit of Cowley Road - warm, friendly, welcoming and a whole lot of fun! Their happy hour is the best in Oxford, but even outside of that they have a great selection of very well priced drinks and delicious pizza. If you come for the drinks, stay for the warm welcome and hospitality. Jo and Jo are wonderful hosts - you will not be disappointed. (We’ll see you on Friday for a Baby Nicola 😉)

We came across JoJo’s while out and about on a visit to Oxford and looking for a fun place to eat. Jo Jo’s was perfect. We were greeted by Jonathan who squeezed us in by the band and looked after us all evening. Fantastic pizzas, great funk band (The Bontempts), great hospitality, great atmosphere, great evening!

Fun place to go for a drink, sit on the terrace and watch the world go by. Pizzas are good and have vegan options. The guys who run the place are absolutely awesome and make you feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit

We could not have asked for a nicer welcome as we entered this lovely place. Staff were friendly and gave a warm "Hello, how are you?" Upon arrival. They were on hand to recommend drinks too. There was an upbeat atmosphere courtesy of the music, with a very spacious indoor area to sit in. A smaller outdoor area was also available. We did only have drinks , however we saw that Pizza was also an option if we had wanted it. Great prices and great service, we would definitely visit again

Came here with a group of friends for drinks. Owner was so lovely and friendly- he really takes pride of his bar which created a nice atmosphere. Prices are decent for the area, think a bottle of wine was around £17, and they do student offers daily for cocktails and other drinks. Will definitely come back for the pizza- looked delicious!

My partener and I went for a pizza here yesterday and it was even better than we thought it would be. The man who served us was exceptional. The food was brilliant and he even made us a garlic mayo from scratch for the crusts!! Would recommend.
