Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Camden

Delicious sushi and salads, in all the places (I think), 30 minutes before closing they put everything at 50% off, I recommend that if you want to take full advantage of this that you go before that time, the majority do that, they grab everything they want (up to 3 of the same for example) and wait for the time to be done! Once I bought like a sushi sandwich and I ate it two days later and it was delicious and nothing happened to me, info to add in case you want to buy and leave it for the next day (it is edible and delicious)

Sushi and curry frames were good, ironically only the wasabi disappointed.

Spend all night in the toilet, never ever i will get something from here be careful with the chicken katsu... Thanks god my kid didnt eat

Quality and serving size have declined. Expensive. They now use sweetener in some of their dishes.

Jafor and the security guard (I don’t know his name) are always working tirelessly. Their opening hours give you enough time to enjoy, which is remarkably marketable.

Popped in for a snack...katsu bites were dry, checked time stamp and they were out of time so mentioned to guy behind counter and he gave us some fresh ones...much better..boring looking plain place but food was good...

Had the pumpkin katsu, very disappointed with the pumpkin as it wasn't crispy at all! Rice and curry sauce was ok but nothing to ride home about.

I asked for a chicken ramen. It was tastelless (they poured too much water in it). Also, they dont have toilets inside.

Delicious and fresh sushi shop. They’re very busy during the day and night. This makes the sushi the freshest of London.

It used to be a great place to grab sushi, but it seems the management has changed. Now, the sushi pieces have less salmon, and some of the avocado slices have black spots.

Place where you can eat Asian, good fresh sushi 🍣 and Bento. The chicken katsu is good, with rice, chicken and sauce, a hot dish.

Being a sushi fanatic, I didn't like it. Rice too sticky & tasteless. Tasteless rice, sweet soy sauce to buy extra.

Limited hot food here, wish they had better options other then that the customer service is good and store is clean.

Honestly been going there for a couple Lunch breaks now, the food is quick and easy, already prepared and it’s really filling. The only down side for me is I wish they had more hot food ready but other then that I definitely recommend eating Wasabi here place is always clean!

We came before closing so there was little to no variety, the food we did get tasted not that great - but it did the job.

Good food good atmosphere and good quick service

They used JUST EAT for delivery. Driver made THREE (3) deliveries before mine. Tom yum was COLD because it was on top of my sushi which was luke warm. Chicken was dry and stale. **MAYBE** WASABI don't know that JUST EAT can prioritize multiple orders by same driver. Certainly food looked good and was well packaged. The Tom Yum was more like a Tom Ka but I think it was a good idea. To be fair, I should try eating in before I give full judgement. But, if I discover that they agree to permit JUST EAT to deliver cold due to prioritizing - then I won't bother.

Changed the layout since I last came to this store, loved it. Chap behind the counter could smile more, but nonetheless, he was quite friendly. Only downside was that when busy its not as nice to sit and eat in.

We went with two plates of Sushies n Soups, taste is ok and acceptable.

I came and asked for the tofu noodles and curry they had it behind and put it together for me. Gosh I was shocked when it was ready, two small spoonfuls and the container was a quarter full. I was starving so I just paid and ate, was a bit less hungry after. I used to have it regularly years ago and it was a huge portion. You have no idea how much they will give you unless you see it on the display, it was the smallest portion I’ve seen in years, but I don’t think it’s worth it as a tasty snack when you want a meal

Every evening they close an hour or an hour and a half earlier than the closing time written on the schedule. The schedule says closing time 9:30 p.m., but they are gone before 8:30 p.m. every evening.

Never again, had chicken curry quite late in the evening (l think they were closing soon) brought it home to eat. I was really looking forward having it, the salad smelled of bleach. Maybe someone who cleaned the bowls forgot to rinse it but really bad on their behalf..totally put me off ever having Washabi again.

Consistent quality at a decent price. Have I had better sushi? Yes. Do I come here really often because the sushi is good without breaking the bank? Yes. Do the hot food options feel kind of dirty? Yep and isn't that just what you need some days? Oh yes. Do I recommend it? Sure.

well i had the sushi first time ever in my life. I have seen, it is quite popular food for londoners as lunch. so i tried their sushi box . it was £10.70 for eating in, but the food put me off big time. i m not sure if i m ever trying sushi again. i found it really bland. maybe sushi is an aquired taste. But, i love their katsu curry. its kinda my staple food when in central london mostly.

Dish is bit colder than usual compare to other branch but security is nice person.

Walked in to buy some food instantly some security gard starts to follow me and intimidate me singling me out and making me feel very uncomfortable while I chose something to eat this behaviour was intolerable and the chicken katsu tasted dry like it had been there to long and the meat inside was tough.

Very poor customer service and not obeying the prices. My sushi was saying £8.25 and had eat in but I paid £9.95 so eating in its £1.70 ?????? Are they mad????? No way going back there again!

The food is as it very amazing and delicious. The staff is very supportive and friendly and as I am a vegetarian and I was wondering what to it so the manager mr. Sujan explained me everything and and helped me the menu. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Camden town's branch is now my default since Warren Street branch closes ridiculously early ( as my late wife and I were their customers for years) and closed on Sundays.... Their loss I think!

Sometimes things go less well. Mistakes in orders, poor preparation, etc. Even in places that we normally choose to eat because they are great quality - pricewise. A few months from now I started to use more Deliveroo services, as they are absolutely amazing, but continuing to buy in store. Recently, when I order out, they got part of my order wrong or something is missing, they send very old pieces of sushi (twice in a row), so I don't know if I'm keen to continue to order from them... Sorry for the honesty, and I'm sure they are working really hard, but something will have to change, otherwise you will lose customers. I've been "selling" your products for a while now, but I'm not sure if I will continue... And this menu (pic), was sent to me when I've asked for a mini tokyo salmon set...

Not about the food. Camden Town. Had to ask for chopsticks (lord knows how she thought we'd eat otherwise?) and napkins..there were two eating and given two napkins...hmmm

Every time when I was coming there during the last two month, food was going down and down quality wise. I think I will have to look for a better place now Updated: today decided to go there and it is the same or even worse (15/09/2020)

Camden wasabi is one of the best food spots I've been to. Their staff is extremely Friendly and welcoming. The shop always extremely sanitary and clean. Their tofu curry bento, in the hot section is one of the tastiest vegan foods. The only let down is that their hot food is very high in calories. Tofu curry bento is almost a 1000 calories

I ordered two of my favourite vegan boxes but one of them had a piece of pork bone. The staff is not as pleasant as the other Wasabi's in London.

Bad asian food even for the cheap price they claim they charge you. You can get a proper bento box in a top asian restaurant for 2-3£ more.

I've always loved wasabi...but the first time I visited the one in Camden. I really love the fact that the staff could cater for my request of not having the plastic bowl inside my food. Not forgetting the deliciousness of the food itself. Was happy with my meal and will definitely go there again. Thank you xx

I normally eat out of this wasabi store. It has good food choices and the guys behind the counter are good.

Cold food indifferent service. I visited mid afternoon and the food was luke warm. When I went back to the counter the person was not helpful and I had to get the attention of someone in the kitchen who was. Really poor all round.
