They refused to serve me the food that I had preordered.

Great food! Great location. Toilet needs improvement.

Good place for a quick katsu curry or noodles. Prices have been creeping up and it's not very good value for money these days. Chicken katsu curry is OK but the sushi is low quality and doesn't justify the price. The atmosphere is sterile, and the service is friendly.

Excellent fast food chain. My favourite is the bento curry.

Takeaway sushi at extremely affordable prices. Also recommended for the quality of the food which is not low at all, on the contrary. The rice-based dishes accompanied by chicken are also excellent. Truly a perfect place for a quick, healthy and refreshing snack. The only flaw is the lack of seating during rush hour and the lack of some dishes on the menu (which, however, can be resolved by explicitly requesting the staff to replenish the shelves with the dishes running out).

Sushi was a bit gross at the end of the day

That was a very bad experience, if you don’t want lose a day our you hole trip, don’t eat there. we’ve ordered two bentos for a dinner around 7:00 and the food was not fresh, but as we were hungry we ate the food. Unfortunately … 4 hours after my husband start to fell bad with vomit and diarrhea we lost our dream trip to London and also spent money with medicine. They need to put on the food the time that was prepared, so we could check before we buy.

OMG... the katsu curry is very very good.. and not over priced like so many places.. they have a good selection of sushi and it's fresh.

I tried going somewhere else nearby but there were no seats, so I went to Wasabi, and I liked it, perhaps because it was my first meal in a while. It was cold, so I chose mainly warm rice, and it was good because it was seasoned well and warm. And I was very satisfied because the price was cheap!!

We only received 2 of our five dishes. That happens, but wasabi was not interested in solving the matter, just made us pay.

Reasonably priced Japanese food in London. A system where you take your own food and go to the cash register. The downside is that they don't wipe the tables, so they're pretty dirty, and there's no toilet.

Fresh fast food. Delicious and gluten free options are available. The staff goes an extra mile to make sure the dishes don't contain gluten and are welcoming.

Sushi molto buono da mangiare nel centro di Londra a prezzi più che onesti. Nello specifico, in questo locale (ma non in tutte le filiali di questa catena) è presente anche il posto per sedersi, anche se per consumare all'interno è necessario pagare leggermente di più le box che si decide di acquistare.

Japanese food chain at a relatively low price and great packaging for the food especially for those in a hurry. Do it yourself service, very good restaurant cleanliness and the food was quite tasty considering it is still a franchising.

Restaurante de comida japonesa muito prático pois toda comida está pronta em um display e basta escolher e ir para o caixa. Achei legal pois sempre há dois preços, um para comer no local e outro para comer fora, normalmente 2 libras mais barato, então se você quer economizar basta pegar e ir comer em qualquer local público. A comida é boa mas nada de outro mundo.

I love this sushi shop. The prices are very reasonable and the food tastes amazing. You can find them anywhere around London. In my 5 day stay I had this sushi for lunch twice.

The short fat white female staff is absolutely the rudest person I’ve met in life, not to mention her as a restaurant staff. She’s highly unhygienic and if you ask for cutlery or napkin she would just slap them on the counter as if she was angry instead of handing it to you like any polite person would do. Maybe some basic manner would do good to her and Wasabi.

A decent choice as long as you know what to expect. Fast food strongly flavored with focus on expediency (pick, eat, go). OK sushi too - best you can find at that price point.

Had tried to go to the Itsu just up the road from this, but unfortunately, it was extremely busy, so came here instead. Food was delicious, was fresh, and was presented nicely. They had a wide range of food, lots of options. Similar to my experience in the wasabi in China town, the tables were sticky, and had food on them, it would be nice if they could put the effort in to clean the tables more regularly. The food was good, but the soy sauce was in a sachet, which was harder to use than the small bottles Itsu has. All in all it was a good experience, and I will be visiting this wasabi again next time I am in the area, and hopefully my two issues can be addressed for the future. Well done Wasabi :)

Vegan sushi options are really nice! So happy to grab the box for sudden cravings, otherwise vegan sushi isn’t always easy to find. Would love more choices too for vegan products, mock crab/egg etc

Food amazing the rest needs more work.

The order was 27 mins late and we only had a 45 minute break for lunch - the hot food was only warm and advised from them I could not collect when chased at 13.15

My 13 year old son became very unwell after eating teriyaki salmon onigiri and the teriyaki chicken , only thing he ate so definitely food poisoning. Really disappointing as his upset stomach interrupted a west end show he was looking forward to. Please get in touch. Thank you

One of the worst places. Awful food. Just avoid!!!!

They advertise vegetarian and vegan food on their display screens above the payment counter but only one vegan option was available in reality. And upon asking the staff bluntly said we don’t have any vegetarian right now. No apology nothing. may be Wasabi should remove the veggie friendly stuff from the menu if they don’t intend to serve it. This is not the first time this has happened.

The portion sizes have dramatically reduced. There was barely any chicken curry in the box. I will not be ordering from Wasabi ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel like i have been ripped off for my money

Had THE WORST food poisoning after eating the chicken curry in this place. Took me 4 days to recover and almost ended up in the ER. I saw in previous reviews that I'm not the first to have this experience with this place. Stay away.

Bad- staff are less communicative & cooperative, difficult to find a seating space, you pay more for "eat in" than "take away" Good- Wasabi food is always good, tried veg avacado sushi for the 1st time & it was very delicious. Also my mandatory one- veg tofu curry with rice is always best, this place is at a walking distance from Covent garden market so if u r hungry while shopping you can head here

If I could give a lower rating I would, save your money go somewhere else.

Quick,tasty and cheap options for food!

I had food poisoning after eating the tofu curry with rice. Still recovering 3rd day. Would not recommend at all. Very poor quality.

I work near by in Covent garden. The food volume in the bentos has reduced by as mush as 30% compared to previous. And freshness of cooked meat such as chicken are also quite bad. Would only go for the sushi box next time

I love the Chicken katsu curry from wasabi for a hearty lunch in the city, and I’m used to the lunch time fresh pot of sauces with rice and freshly made chicken pieces, which are served freshly for each customer. But this shop had everything pre-packed like ready meals, and the chicken had been cooked for a while as it was dry and tough, nearly broke my cutlery! The stars given are for the Katsu curry and rice, as chicken wasn’t nice at all. But I guess this is a tourist location and that’s what they’re serving tourists

You definitely get your moneys worth. It’s cheap, quick and easy sushi on the go. They have amazing vegan options including vegan salmon which does have a weird texture but tastes pretty good. Just keep in mind that it is cheap sushi so it’s about grocery store quality. It is also my understanding that everything is made in the morning so for best results I recommend doing lunch rather then dinner. For what I paid it was pretty good and alot of food

We love Wasabi and while in Covent Garden last Saturday, we thought we should try our favourite Chicken Sweet and Sour with rice. I have to say it was terrible. Dry chicken and mushy rice. The chicken and the sauce was in particular was not what we expected. The chicken pieces were so dry that i had to use knife to break them into smaller pieces. Anyway, i throw both our boxes into their bin. I don't think I try Wasabi any longer as this experience put me completely off.

Wasabi used to my favourite Japanese fast food. Sadly quality has gone down over they years. You used to be able to pick individual sushi pieces from a wide selection, which was fantastic and the hot meals were poured directly from the pot, nice and fresh. Well, no more, all sushi is sold as sets and hot meals are all sitting on the shelf for hours.

Good deals for fast meals, wouldn’t recommend it for an healthy option tho.

We left Itsu to come here and it was well worth it; better food and even better service. Dawid was very helpful and kind, he recommended different boxes and soups. We went for Prawn Tom Yum and a salmon sushi box. Thanks to Dawid we will definitely be coming back here!

During the trip, I made the decision to order Sushi from here. adequate price for the product. quite tasty! the only downside in some sushi rolls was rice was hard and rice is the basis ... anyway, for this price I can recommend yummmy 😋

i love wasabi But Covent garden wasabi is very bad staff are very rude, they use to do half price and they stopped that. never again wasabi you lost a customer for good now .

Been here several times, the food is good and well packed. Unfortunately the female staff is rude. You need to ask several times for any type of cutlery or chopsticks, or make sure they have not overcharged (NHS discount or EOTHO). Doesn't seem to care about customers, no greeting, bad service..

Great area, Pret with friendly people and a lot of seating just across the road. Easily my favourite Wasabi to visit for a solid lunch.
