Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Kensington and Chelsea

Never managed to eat here. Hours are not the same as posted here and it’s been closed the three times we have walked there for a meal.

Very nice shop and I like their system, staff super friendly and helpful , food was tasty and a good size , prices fair and in all I thought good value for money, many vegan choices made it a winner.

absolutely fantastic. As we placed our order late, they had run out of one item. The Manager called, apologies and gave us extra of another item. That is what customer service should be like. A wonderful experience. and a wonderful Manager.

As a mobile massage therapist in London I have been in many wasabi sushi &bento This shop is the cleanest and tidiest. I love coming back to this shop whenever I work in this area

If you want to eat-in is complicated, use to be busy and you can not found seats.

Keep forgetting to send a complaint to wasabi management team so do it here while I remember. Several weeks ago I was buying food before my work and I clearly said “take away”. However the staff charged me as a have in. I noticed only after I paid, I asked why was I charged more that usual, and they went like “oh, sorry”. I asked to do a return and then I’d pay the whole right amount, but the staff rejected my proposal. Instead they gave me an onigiri I didn’t need nor like, and bid their goodbye. That was a really not good situation, especially with the cafe being pretty close to my work and me being a loyal customer for almost a year. Other than that I don’t have any complaints (although prawns sometimes are really bland, they’re supposed to have a bit of flavour)

valid option for a healthy meal if you are away from home: the food is packaged but the products are of reasonable quality. I opted for rice with salmon, edamame and cucumbers and I found it pleasant. The price is low, you pay slightly more if you want to eat in the restaurant (the latter is small but clean).

Tasty Asian food in various types, sizes and combinations, sold in boxes at attractive prices. The price varies for eating in (there are 2 tables and some separate benches) or taking away. I found the chicken too spicy, but for those who like it, it's ok. Everything fresh and tasty.

nice staff, nice place, it's a chain so food will be the same every Wasabi you go to, nevertheless it was good!

It's very nice for a quick snack, the employees are very polite, the food is delicious, fresh and affordable.

Came here a couple of times while staying in the area and were happy with what we got! Sushi tasted super fresh.

This is a really easy place to eat. If you’re a little hungry, come on over. Onigiri is waiting for you😁

Quite rich, at the entrance there are cold and preserved options that are also more expensive. I recommend going to the back where they have current dishes, we ordered this chicken one, it cost us 7.75 pounds each, which seems quite economical for the area (very touristy and apparently very good because of the cars that were circulating). The place is small and people finish their food very quickly to leave a free seat for the people who will arrive later. I had no problems paying with the American Express credit card.

Fast and cheap food, it's pretty good. Hot and cold dishes. We've been twice in one week.

We ordered a ramen and a tom yum soup and were especially pleased at how well packed they were. Not a drop spilled into the bag. Both items were just as tasty as expected. This order is definitely worth repeating.

If Koreans are impatient, this is a good place to eat quickly and get up quickly. The price is expensive, so I think 33 pounds for 2 sushi sets, chicken and noodle triangle kimbap for 4 people is okay. I shudder when I think about the prices in Korea. What did you eat? lol After leaving the Natural History Museum, we quickly ate and headed to Victoria~~

It's a very catchy design, the Green wasabi shop is great. Young friends who want to try a popular cuisine will love it. Needs to clean tables more.

La comida está muy buena. Falta un poco de variedad en los platos calientes. Me he cansado un poco y solo he ido 4 veces. El sushi está bueno. El ambiente es un poco ruidoso por la música.

Didn’t expect more for this price. We have ordered two sets each 9£ to take away and it was quite good. However, gyozas’ dough was doughy and not crispy at all.

Buena opción de comida, en mi caso en Londres donde para mí la comida es muy cara. En este caso puedes almorzar no gastando demasiado y comer algo bastante saludable.

Wasbi has very reasonable price and delicious food! Personally, Wasabi is the best Japenese take away chain.

A pretty simple "restaurant", similar to Pret a Manger, nearby or across London, but Japanese cuisine instead. You go to the shelfs, pick up what you want and you pay for it at the till. You can either eat inside or take-away, which is cheaper. The food itself was surprisingly good, savory and barely any spicy options on the shelf (which can be nice as in London, as the food can get very spicy). For a snack, I would strongly reccommend the rice-balls, small, crunchy and delicious. At least for what we tried, it all seemed pretty fresh, so you should expect some good and really cheap (in a good way) food.

I was just there 2 hours ago to get some chicken before going home, I paid in cash 20 pounds and one of the guy gave me 15 pounds and some coins as change, hidden in a fist. I noticed something fishy, because they were whispering between each other , but I was tired after a long day at work, so I didn’t even look at it, going home I checked and I saw it. It was my go- to place twice a week after work. I can’t be bothered going back because I live at the other side of London. They lost a customers, so EVERYONE If you pay in cash, check the change before leaving this place.

Wasabi where the prices keep going up , katsu curry is now at £7.45 ,while the portions get smaller and smaller There's much better alternatives for lunch

Food was ok, there were a lot of vegan options. Pretty much standard wasabi quality which was good. But the staff were a bit rude and didn't seem that engaged in what they were doing.

Was treated rudely by the staff when asked why there isn’t a half price discount as I arrived half an hour before the store closed on 18th feb Saturday night. He simply replied “because I don’t feel like giving it” with an unprofessional attitude and without explanation. Would not recommend this branch.

Food is very nice, perfect for takeaway or a fast meal, I would recommend going half an hour before it closes when everything is half price.

I usually enjoy Wasabi, but I was disappointed at the portion size of my tofu curry bento. The container seemed only half full and the ratio of rice to tofu curry was poor. Very little curry compared to what I've been used to for years. Value for money has decreased massively.

Visited today with my husband and son and was impressed with the large variety of sushi 🍣 and other foods both hot and cold. My salad was delicious and my husband enjoyed his sweet and sour chicken and rice. The seating is super small and limited but we hoovered around and after 5 mins a seat became free. Why isn't there any outside seating like all the other cafes either side? All in all had a lovely reasonably priced lunch! Highly recommend 👌

Picked up a chicken Katsu salad, took it back to work. First the chicken was really gamey and bad tasting, and the rice rolls were hard. Then noticed the lettuce all browned on the edges, some entirely a diff colour - realised it was really old and been sitting there for days. Searched all over the box, all stickers, underside too, and again - No best before date. Never again. New management needed, they’re getting away with selling old stock.

Das Essen ist lecker und frisch. Die Portionen fand ich sehr klein. Es reicht nicht wirklich zum satt werden. Daran gemessen sind die Preise unverhältnismäßig. Dass es daran liegt, dass wir uns in einer Großstadt befinden, ist mir klar. Den Punktabzug gibt es aber i erster Linie wegen des vielen Plastikmülls, der anfällt. Alles ist Einweg, bis auf die Tabletts. Das finde ich absolut nicht zeitgemäß.

Food was very nice and warm I highly recommend this branch for Wasabi.

Great location for students of imperial, and the sushi is decent but not out of this world. Prices are reasonable for what you get but they sometimes offer 50% off in the last half hour before closing. Not always though if they are running low on stock.

You sent me all the wrong things. I ordered chicken katsu and got given chicken sushi and the wrong box of fish sushi. Please refund me.

Both my pregnant self and my son were food poisoned today. The hygiene in in south ken wasabi is a complete joke. We didn’t even eat the fish. We both had avocado Sushi and vegan box.. it did look a bit off but I didn’t want to make a fuss. Now I fully regret.

This store is near the museum area in Kensington, perfect place and location to have a light meal before spending hours inside the museums. Highly recommend their chicken curry bento and salmon sushi, so fresh and tasty with so reasonable price.

I was lucky the were 50%off sushi when I visited in evening. Great sushi! I loved it.

My kids love's this place but now they have cut back on their Chicken potions on their Chicken Katsu curry. Disappointing ☹

Good food, prepared so no waiting, room to sit if required, with lunch for 3 for around £20, you can't complain.

Just WoW! What a wonderful meal choices. Healthy. Fresh. And very reasonable price for sushi or a noodle meal. Wish this place was available also in Bristol where we live. Thanks guys for all the healthy made delicious options 🥣

Outstanding customer service. Went on Tuesday and I got chicken katsu curry which was delicious, and the guy behind the till was really friendly and smiley. He just made my day and he even went out of his way to clean after me after I finished my meal. He was really polite and helpful. Thank you!

A mediocre sushi takeaway chain. We gave two stars because the sushi can be very chewy like rubber and mushed up (some boxes are squished etc.). The sushi is made somewhere else and delivered every day so by the afternoon you will most likely get stale sushi. By the evening most avacado based ones will have changed colour. For a quick grab, why not, but wouldn't recommend for a regular visit, hence we're giving 2 stars. Note that the pictures look much better for some reason, the phone camera seems to have adjusted the colours.

Plain options (salmon, rice etc.) for picky eaters, and more adventurous stuff for those who want that instead.

Not many options available from hot food counter and went there specifically for the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ discount only to find out that this is the only branch doesn’t take part in it. Not even a student discount available

Sushi chewed up like a dogs dinner, salmon not shaped as a rectangle but a salmon that looks like it was chewed up by a cat, the seaweed was not even stuck to the rice, but peeled as pictured. Honestly disappointed by the terrible aesthetic of the meal and the fish smelt a little off alongside this! Outraged and disheartened by my once favourite wasabi

It's quite convenient if you're looking for a take a way. They have enough options for every one, the quality is fine and the price is fairly good.

Everything is great, except place, cus space is very limited. Food is fresh, service is nice and friendly. Recommend. Ps: Now I know that I don't like curry lol

Food is lovely and service is ok but it really saddens me every time I eat here and the amount of unnecessary plastic you consume! In a hot meal you have the box, the lid which is plastic and then another type of lid to separate food with and a plastic container for the sauce! Plus plastic forks! and that's only if you purchase one meal. Please take a bit more responsibility for your plastic consumption and make changes. I will not be back in until I don't feel guilty and rubbish about dining in your shop.

Very good price per products . They are already packed in the fridge . The staff is nice and helpful . They will work your choice of soup . The only cons is the space is too small and crowdly if you want to sit and eat .
