It’s been a while since I’ve had nando’s and I was slightly disappointed. Maybe they were just busy and it was a blip, but my chicken sandwich was just okay. The bun tasted a bit stale and the peri peri flavors didn’t come through as strongly as I wanted. Would definitely recommend Nando’s as a whole though

This branch needs new management. After an inadequate welcome from the doorwoman, I was disappointed to find out that the store didn’t have olive oil in stock, after I had already received my garlic bread. What a shambles of a place!

You’re probably wondering what is with the mixed reviews. I visited this branch today and there were a few issues with our food orders. The manager Jhon and his colleague Sian were absolutely amazing and super accommodating to us. This is the first Nando’s that I’ve been to, that took accountability for the behind issues that impacted on their customers. Jhon was extremely apologetic, gave complimentary drinks and refunded our food order…. Regardless of the food and atmosphere score, the customer service in the restaurant was A1 and for this reason alone, I would return again as I’m satisfied with their service delivery and efforts… Thank you again Jhon and Sian!!! Ps, to those who think I’m spelling John incorrectly, I’m not, the guy was unique!

I haven’t eaten Nando’s since 2019, thank you fxxking COVID-19. Today I finally walked into Nando’s, after my dinner, I still went to a Nando’s, to treat myself a happy evening in London. I’ve been settled to sit a corner table, that was really nice for a single ASIAN male. I ordered via QRcode and paid by table, a waiter sent my drink glass, and I started to surf social media apps, I didn’t noticed that had been half hour long. Well, tableS next to me had been served but I only had one glass!!! I asked a lady I wanted to leave and refunded, she asked me did I order, then I showed her my glass. In 5 minutes, my food came, the chicken is still delicious, but I really don’t like what I’ve been through. I couldn’t help but wonder, is it happening to an ASIAN guy normal? Or happening to a single ASIAN guy normal? I still love Nando’s, after all, but I wouldn’t recommend Kensington High street branch.

Food was amazing, as always. The upstairs of the restaurant was quite busy and fairly noisy, as tables are quite close together. The downstairs seating area is much quieter and more spacious, so ask to be seated downstairs for a more pleasant experience. One of the waitresses was amazing! She was so attentive, efficient and extremely helpful. On the downside, other members of staff were very slow. Service could have been quicker on the whole.

The food is good, but the service is very poor. It gets really busy very quickly, and there just aren't enough staff. The pass gets so packed with food that the chef's are running out of space. They're producing the food in good time, but there's too few people to take it to the table. End result is that the food service is very slow, the staff are running around like headless chickens, and people are getting peeved at the length of time it all takes.

The chicken burger is maybe a bit small, the bread bun is so soft it breaks as soon as you start eating (just a suggestion) and fries could be better (more crunchy and warmer). But... not bad. I paid 18£ for small burger, fries, 1 dip and a coke.

Dear Nando’s Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Kensington High Street location on 17/06/2024. My experience at your restaurant on this occasion was far below the standard I have come to expect from Nando’s. I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 17:25. Despite several staff members being present, no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence. After waiting for another customer to complete his order, I prepared to place mine. However, at that moment, a woman approached the counter from one of the tables to inquire about placing her order. The woman was unsure of her order and took an extended amount of time to decide. As she was considering her options, I politely asked a different waiter if someone else could assist me with my order, given the delay. To my surprise, the individual who was taking the woman’s order overheard my request and interjected with an attitude, stating that I needed to wait. When I asked to speak with a manager, this person claimed to be the General Manager, Lucas. His manner was dismissive and unprofessional, making it clear he had little control over the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. Feeling disrespected and frustrated by the lack of basic customer service, I decided to leave without placing my order. I am very disappointed with how I was treated, and I find it unacceptable that a manager, especially someone who should be setting an example, would handle the situation in such a manner. I hope this feedback can lead to improvements in how customers are treated at your Kensington High Street location. I look forward to hearing how this issue will be addressed. This is a good Nando's. The food was cooked well as usual, it's in a convenient location, not far from several hotels and Kensington High Street station. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is because during my meal nobody came round to check if everything was OK. The check has happened at all but 2 Nando's I've visited (this one included), so it was noticeable. It was busy, so that was probably why, but still, good courtesy is always a plus.

I was told must wait 20 minutes when plenty tables were vacant. After 15mins staff told me “two seconds” and never come back to me. After another 10mins I asked again and finally I got a table. Then another 20mins wait for food after I ordered and payed via website. Too many staff pretending busy but in fact most of them are useless… I’ll be back again for sure and I hope service will be better ( I don’t expect restaurant service but there should be some minimum )

Huge Nando’s fan but today was an uncomfortable experience. The head waitress at HSK was rude from the moment we walked in. I needed to park my mother’s wheelchair and she kept making me move it from place to place. And at the end of our meals, she came and said goodbye for us to leave practically wanting to kick us out to get the table freed. Nupor was her name or Nopur. Not sure. So very rude. We love the food but I doubt we’ll be keeping the HSK branch in mind going forward.

I went today with my daughter and brother was super disappointed when the plater come I thought it was a pigpen a bird not a chicken it was so tiny so tiny never saw that in my life when they bring the plater I can’t even saw the chicken need a zoom to seeing ! I paid £35 to have a tiny chicken with chips and 2 drinks it so ridiculous , it pure robbery £26 for a tiny chicken only my 6 year old and brother ate ! And our way home my daughter ask me mummy am hungry ! Puff avoiding this place honestly it not worth it! You paid £35 after your kids still hungry ! A glass of coca was £3.99 even you can refill it ! Better KFC or Burger King or other place so disappointed!

We went in. Got told to leave aggressively by the staff, then got told to come back in immediately. Got in, seated downstairs (no internet or Wifi doesn't work). Ordered food at 7:30pm for Iftaar as i was fasting (told them) they said 15 minutes wait. Its been 1 hour 10 minutes and they haven't brought the food and when i ask they roll there eyes and say "its coming". Other people that came way before us have gotten their food already. We were the first ones downstairs after it got full every other person got their food but we were still waiting. The food came cold. Try avoiding this branch and go to others.

1 stressed waitress for the whole restaurant on Saturday evening - seriously? I was waiting for food for around 1h which is absolutely not acceptable. Some neighbouring tables came 0.5h later (and ordered their food much later than me) but received their food earlier than me - this was very unpleasant experience. Kids got stressed and very hungry by the long wait. Kids meals didn’t come with the deserts included - I had to go around the restaurant to find a waitress and ask for these deserts. And her reply was: “I will try and I cannot guarantee as can you not see how busy we are?” As if this is my problem! I’ve never seen such a rude service. Seriously, this became ridiculous. I’m not returning.

Went in with my family of 4 and was offered a table. I asked for a larger table due to having a small child and was told the large tables are reserved for people of 5 and if I take it then will need to move if one turns up. I took my original table and to my surprise during my meal there watched a couple, family of 3, staff lunch of 2 and another couple sit and eat all without complaints from the person who served me… Used to be a regular at this branch but definitely wont be going again.

We ordered takeaway and asked staff if possible if they could wear fresh clean gloves as a family member is immunocompromised and has to be extremely careful when people are handling her food. On both occasions Nick and Naz were very understanding and nothing was a problem for them i noticed they were conscious about customers with allergens which is great to see. We went into the restaurant around 3:30 today, it wasn’t very busy or anything and we could see multiple empty tables. We walked in and waited by the door with no acknowledgment from any staff members. After waiting for about 5 minutes one staff member at the till asked if we were okay and we said we need a table for 3 please, he then looked over to the other side of the restaurant and said my colleague is coming please wait. So we waited for some time but no one seemed to be coming. There were about 5/6 staff members that were free and talking amongst themselves but no one wanted to simply show us to a table. This is very appalling service from all the staff members at nandos, we have been here multiple times and this is the first time this has happened. We were made to stand looking like idiots and other diners were staring at us, it was absolutely embarrassing to the point where in the end we just had to walk out not being served. Disgusting service from all the staff working there today.

This restaurant’s food is mediocre. The fries are barely hot and the hamburgers are dry. The atmosphere is at its worse due to the crowd and it’s loudness, it’s impossible to have a normal conversation in this restaurant without raising your voice. The place’s service also looks like a fast-food restaurant more than a regular one because you have to order from your phone and pay online. And although the food is enjoyable with eye pleasing meals, I’d avoid dining here.

Walked into this branch today waited to be seated only to be ignored and walked by multiple times. A lady walked passed I said hi can I be seated pls she said wait hold on and continued walking, anyway I seated myself now and go up to order some meals no one is acknowledging me at the till, you had about 7 people just there behind the counter with 1 woman cooking the food while at the same time eating. So anyways I’ve asked another lady who was strolling by if someone can serve me she then asks the manager to do so as he was right there who to my surprise came with one stink attitude telling me to wait.. to only then come back take my order and tell me there’s no chicken left or burger or thighs but in such a rude and miserable manner. I said why not tell people at the door if this was the case as I wouldn’t have seated my family and got comfortable. I mean this Nando’s was by far the worst experience! same way I came in I left and went to Bayswater branch. This high ken branch is a ghetto mess and the manager with the dreadlocks and the whole of todays team need some serious training furthermore close this branch completely it isn’t a good look at all.

La cucina rimane ad un livello molto buono, con piatti generalmente ben preparati: molto buona una soup singaporeana piccante al punto giusto e ricca di ingredienti; anche il granchio fritto è consigliabile come i dim sun; un po’ banali gli spiedini di pollo. Ottimo chardonnay australiano suggerito da una gentile cameriera. Suggerisco di prenotare perché è sempre molto affollato. Consigliato

I’ve never encountered such appalling service as I did at this restaurant. First, they charge for using a tablecloth—yes, a tablecloth! To make matters worse, they brought out so-called "complimentary" bread and dip that we never asked for, only to later inform us, “Since you ate it, you have to pay for it.” How can they charge for something we didn’t request? They don’t even provide tap water, and instead, they charge £2 per cup of hot water—which they failed to mention in advance. When we realized this and raised our concerns, the manager’s response was shockingly rude and dismissive, showing no interest in customer service or basic courtesy. To top it all off, they add a service charge on top of the tablecloth fee, and despite the poor service, this charge is not optional. We asked for it to be removed, given the unsatisfactory experience, but they flat-out refused. The entire experience felt like a complete money-grab. The food itself was below average at best, certainly not worth the inflated prices, especially considering the dreadful service and extra charges. If you’re thinking about dining here, do yourself a favor and don’t. You’ll regret even considering it as an option for Italian dining near Knightsbridge. It’s not just the food that will disappoint—you’ll be frustrated by the poor service, hidden charges, and rude management. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from this place.
