Como Garden in Kensington and Chelsea

Warm and inviting interior decor on Kensington High Street. Service was very mediocre, waiting almost 15 minutes before being asked for drink or water. Desirable tables were denied due to reservations, but one hour later, most were still free at 8pm. Wine by the glass list was limited but acceptable selection. My ordered food was very good and served hot. Try to avoid tables by the entrance as mine was because wait staff traffic is like a motorway around your table. I like this restaurant despite the service challenges and will try again.

This is a lovely little restaurant. Staff are very friendly and our waiter Rahat was superb and went out of his way to be helpful. The food was so tasty. The only downside was that the table was too small for all the dishes. Overall a very nice restaurant and I would certainly go back!

I had a wonderful experience at como Garden, and the highlight was the exceptional service from our waiter, Raihat. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations that we absolutely loved. Raihat’s attention to detail and genuine care made the entire evening feel special. He truly went above and beyond – a true credit to the restaurant! I can’t wait to return, thanks to him.

Food was top notch ! We had arancini as an appetiser and it was amazing, the cheese had much taste. I then had the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and truffle which was cooked to perfection. The truffle was very much noticeable without being too much. As for the desert I had the chief recommandation which was the lemon torta. I would’ve preferred it a bit more acid but it was still very tasty. The meringue was perfect. We were served by Rayhan who was quick and efficient as well as very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend the place for its decor and the quality of the food as well as the service (especially the one provided by rayhan :) )

Celebrated my sisters birthday at Como garden, the food was good - our favourite was the burrata and the truffle tagliolini! The atmosphere and decor is gorgeous and our server Victoria was great! She was very attentive to our needs and was extremely pleasant and delightful! Will return again soon.

Fuimos con amigos - todos tuvimos una comida decente, pero no creo que valga la pena lo que pagamos por ella. Los menús son buenos pero la camarera nos dijo que los entrantes y la pasta eran grandes y para compartir mientras que los platos principales son más pequeños. Mi hija eligió la pasta de trufa que parecía la cosa más cara en el menú - lo mezclaron frente a nosotros, pero era demasiado rico para que ella terminara. Mi carbonara era muy buena, mucho más 'saucy' en comparación con una carbonara clásica y también más rica de lo que quería. El Milanés era bueno, así como el calabacín Friti y bruschetta. Probablemente optaría por los entrantes si volviera. A pesar de Bruschetta y muchos otros platos a base de tomate en el menú no podían hacer una ensalada de tomate para mi marido.

Tuve una experiencia extremadamente decepcionante con Como Garden en Londres, tanto durante como después de mi visita. Hice una reserva para 7 personas el 9 de diciembre de 2024 , utilizando mi tarjeta Visa. Como parte de la reserva, el restaurante depositó una bodega de € 171. 81 como garantía de no-mostrar. Esta es la práctica estándar, y ya que nos presentamos para nuestra reserva y todo fue sin problemas, esperaba que la cantidad se libere después de nuestra visita. Sin embargo, para mi sorpresa, noté unos días después que los 171 €. 81 había sido completamente deducido de mi cuenta! Cuando contacté con el restaurante para abordar este error, afirmaron falsamente que no nos habíamos presentado a nuestra reserva. Esto es completamente falso. Para resolver el problema, me vi obligado a proporcionar una cantidad absurda de pruebas para demostrar que habíamos estado allí. Envié recibos de pago, extractos bancarios, fotos de la comida, e incluso enumeré cada plato que pedimos para que pudieran localizar nuestra factura en su sistema. Después de todo ese esfuerzo, me dijeron que tendría que esperar una resolución y un posible reembolso. Ahora es el 2 de enero de 2025 , casi un mes después, y aún no he recibido ni una respuesta ni un reembolso. Este nivel de incompetencia y un mal servicio al cliente es totalmente inaceptable. Esto no solo arruinó lo que de otra manera sería una experiencia gastronómica decente, sino que también me hizo arrepentirme de haber elegido este restaurante en primer lugar. Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros que eviten Como Garden, especialmente si valoran su tiempo, dinero y tranquilidad. Calificación: 1 / 5
