Everything is perfect and we got to meet DOM one of the most kindest staff there !

My partner and I had been to a concert in Cadogan Hall which went on till late, we missed dinner. We arrived at 21:55 to the Cote on Sloane Square where we were greeted by Dom and his team. Dom seated us with ease and we felt no pressure in ordering our food, which was exceptional and the service brilliant. I am a Cote fan and now even more so. This branch has great decor and a lovely atmosphere will dine again when in the area.

Very rude man at the front door. Didn’t let me in because when he asked me if I came for lunch, I answered him I came just for dessert even though I was going to sit for only 10 minutes and leave. Mangers of Cote need to teach their people respect and hospitality.

We visited here after a day at Chelsea Flower Show. Our waitress Deepika was very efficient and kind, the food was excellent given this is a chain restaurant and the place was completely full and very busy. Cote offer a good Prix Fixe menu as well as A La Carte. The front of house manageress very kindly remembered our wedding anniversary as well which just topped off the meal. This was my second visit to this place and I will definitely go again when next in the area. Thank you for a great experience.

We sat at an outside table and had breakfast; the breakfast complet menu is excellent value, and everything was delicious.

Really busy day since it’s the last day of the chelsea flower show. However the team accommodated us quickly. Quick and efficient, friendly service from Dom despite being so busy, he was still attentive! Food as always is good.

Went to see this year's "Chelsea in Bloom". Was attracted by the flower decoration outside this restaurant. Got in and ordered the set menu. Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered apart from the Steak Tartare (not a fan of raw meat). Pork belly was very tender and the veg and fruit came with it was definitely a plus! The vanilla and chocolate ice-cream was also lovely👍. Pretty good value for money, considering its location. The staff are all very nice and friendly. It is a very busy place, so a bit wait for the food and the dining table is on the small side.

No staff approached us as we waited for a table. Sat down outside - waited - no staff approached us. Went inside and alerted staff to where we were sitting. No staff approached us. Went in and asked for menus - eventually caught someone walking past and ordered a drink. Asked 3 times for water - had to go in and ask in the end. Glass was dirty - apparently this was our problem as we were sitting outside. Food was mediocre at best and I eat in Richmond branch all the time. So disappointing

Dropped in at 9.40pm for some drinks and a light snack and was told the kitchen was closed. When I pointed out that the opening hours said it closed at 10pm, the waiter shrugged. I doubt whether the Cote head office would be pleased to hear the restaurant was turning away customers 20mins before closing.

With so many dining options in the area, we were disappointed that this was where we ended up. The menu looked promising, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to expectations. We visited on Marathon Sunday, so it’s possible the restaurant was busier than usual, which may have impacted quality. Still, the dishes we ordered felt rushed and lacked the attention to detail you'd expect—even at the lower price point compared to other French restaurants nearby. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I’d be open to giving it another shot on a quieter day, but this visit was underwhelming.

We came at a crazy busy time after the theatre, and I thought this will take forever to get served. I was wrong..... The team worked fast and looked after us so well that we just had to write this review. Food was excellent, cocktails sublime, what more can I say. Well done Coate Sloane Square

I eat at Côte Sloane Square fairly regularly, usually pre-concert at Cadogan Hall, which is just around the corner. The service is quick and the staff are friendly and helpful. It seems to be the go-to choice for performers to grab a bite between rehearsal and concert, and it has a pleasantly buzzing atmosphere. The prixe-fixe menu is particularly impressive, with some really good choices like steak tartare and pork belly with potato dauphinois. I opted to eat a la carte, and I really enjoyed the vegetarian tarte tatin à la provençale. I added a side of truffle chips which were perfect: piping hot, crispy on the outside and not overpoweringly flavoured. I also strongly recommend the non-alcoholic macarontini cocktail- a delicious sweet raspberry concoction with foam and freeze dried raspberry pieces. I’ve always enjoyed friendly service at côte, so while the food and atmosphere don’t quite knock it out of the park, it’s reliably good quality a great choice if you’re in the area.

Dined here for my friends birthday last night. You get a complimentary glass of Cremant which they refused to bring until she arrived, it was her birthday I explained which is why I wanted it to be there when she arrived. Reluctantly they brought it however then attempted to charge us for it when the bill arrived. It was clearly them chancing their luck as it was removed without hesitation when I thoughtfully challenged it. My chicken was best described as slimy! My friend enjoyed jet salmon and the pate starter was delicious. I dine at Blackheath Côte almost weekly and the team at Sloane could learn a thing or two from them!

Welcoming and friendly service with consistently good food at reasonable prices in a lovely atmosphere. This particular Côte is our favorite local restaurant. But this evening I was disappointed at the roasted Hake I ordered which was not fresh but smoked. If you roast smoked white fish, it becomes quite dry and chewy. Their menu doesn't mention Hake was smoked. I wouldn't have ordered it if I was aware it was a smoked Hake. But my complaint was quickly dealt with by the Italian staff Dom. He was honest and helpful. Grazie mille!

Este es nuestro restaurante local favorito gracias al buen servicio al cliente y la comida a precios razonables. Pero en esta ocasión estaba en la Merluza Asada que pedí. No hay mención en los hombres de que la merluza está "fumada". Si supiera que es una merluza asada ahumada, no la habría pedido. En mi opinión, el pescado blanco ahumado no se asará bien. Se seca y mastica ya que el proceso de ahumado ya elimina la humedad del pescado. Es genial para pasteles de pescado, pero no me gustaría como pescado asado. No sé por qué Côte menú no menciona que es merluza ahumada no merluza fresca. Debe informar a los clientes la información correcta sobre los alimentos que sirve. Ese es el principio. ¡Qué pena!

Great service by Dom. Stopped by as in the area and highly recommend the French onion soup which was quite filling as it came with toasted bread with cheese. Will definite visit again when in the area. The restaurant was a calm oasis in Sloane Square.

Great overall experience. Always frequent the restaurant with my toddler daughter for a quick kid friendly meal in nice but relaxed atmosphere. Dom is a wonderful and engaging presence at the front and serving and ensuring everything goes smoothly and to the liking of my daughter!

Even though it is busy and in a tourist trap area, service and food were brilliant. The blonde lady who greets you as you arrive is just wonderful and deserves a pay rise.

Cote, we’ve had our ups and downs. First time round it didn’t go too well but I had to give you another shot and this time I was happy the food was to a good standard Breakfast before 11am Sharp was decent. Not my absolute favourite nowhere near But my simple order was completed and the French toast connoisseur wasn’t disappointed

This spot which is usually very good really disappointed us on this occasion. Service was extremely slow, we had to ask 3 times for water, my friend's Steak Tartare was off, the service was hopeless. I sincerely hope this is not a permanent thing as I always like going there, it is so conveniently located, the decor is great, but on this occasion service was very sloppy indeed.

Had lunch here today. Excellent service but the Breton Fish Stew could have been a little better…shrimp was way over cooked. Others with us ordered the three-course with onion soup and steak frites and found them great. Portion size ok.

Fixed price men was dreadful. Portions so small we left hungry! In addition to that the service was dreadful.,Go somewhere else!. Tourist season has obviously kicked in and waiters already had enough.

Expensive… service is slow The food is very normal … my friend insisted to have breakfast… a gain it’s terrible and waste of money and time… the cappuccino was cold and no sugar served with it … no croissant at 10 o’clock in the morning… I don’t recommend it at all!

Not a great visit, service was very slow even though it wasn't busy. Staff seemed a little preoccupied. It didn't help that a massive vacuum tanker was draining an excavation in the square. On another day I expect things would have been a lot better

Very bad service and too late and the manger he was very road and bad attitude with us and he didn’t give us the bag for our take away food and he forced us to pay for the service charge about 10 pound I told them only 5 pound and become very angry and didn’t want to give us the bag and he said if you will pay the service charge I will give you the bag !!!!!!!!!!!! Good French Brasserie chain. Based in busy Sloane Square close to major retail area and theatre. Consistently very good menu and delicious food served with an extensive drinks list in a very buzzy atmosphere by really nice staff. A lovely way to enjoy time together 🙂

We arrived just before closing time, but Domenico welcomed us warmly and without any issues. He also went out of his way to recommend dishes that suited our tastes. Everything was excellent – highly recommended!

Out in town with the lads and a friend recommended Cote. We were walk ins with no booking and even though it was busy and peak Saturday night we got seated straight away. Had the fixed 3 course menu with a few drinks Great service. Recommended.

Very good steak and frites, and really good pork belly! Not impressed with the tartare but overall good food we had the 2 course deal and was good. Long time waiting unfortunately and no food first for kids.

A Disappointing Experience at Cote Sloane Square – No Follow-Up from Management I’ve been a loyal Cote customer since 2010, having visited locations across London including the City, West End, Highgate, Wimbledon, Reigate, St. Katharine Docks, Hays Galleria, and more. I’ve often spoken highly of the brand and enjoyed bringing friends and family along, including my son who has special needs and finds comfort in familiarity. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Sloane Square location left me deeply disappointed — not only by how I was treated by the host who claimed to ber the manager but also by the lack of response from Cote’s customer service. The issue began with a simple request: the LED lighting in a particular area of the restaurant gives me a headache, and table across from the host desk is uncomfortable for my son, who can become agitated in certain environments. On February 3rd, I had lunch at this Cote for my 50th birthday, and while we were initially seated in that problematic area, I understand - and said we could return later. But I wasn't going to spend my 50th birthday getting a headache from LED lights that are too bright! The staff kindly moved us to our preferred table — which made a big difference. At the end of that meal, I asked the host if we could book that same table again for a visit two weeks later. He assured me - very clearly - that we absolutely could. I left feeling taken care of. However, when we returned on February 15th, we were again seated in the back, under the bright LEDs. When I explained that I had been promised a specific table, the host — who later claimed to be the manager — spoke over me, raised his voice, and told me that tables can only be requested, not booked. His tone was rude and dismissive, as though I had done something wrong by even asking. I calmly returned to speak to him again, hoping to ask whether we could come back a little later for the right table, but once again he interrupted, wouldn’t let me finish a sentence, and continued speaking to me in a condescending tone, even telling a colleague, “You deal with her,” while I stood there. As a woman and a long-time customer, I found this incredibly upsetting. He also contradicted himself, saying that “regulars” get their preferred tables. Well, if 15 years of dining at Cote doesn’t make me a regular, I’m not sure what does. Despite the rocky start, our server that evening was excellent, and we stayed for dinner. But the experience left a sour taste. I emailed Cote to share what had happened. They responded initially, saying they’d look into it and follow up, but they never did. I followed up again weeks later and received no reply. It’s disappointing that a brand I’ve supported for so long couldn’t even be bothered to respond to a customer who was treated poorly. I fully understand that specific tables may not be guaranteed with online reservations. But when a member of your team promises a guest that a table is guaranteed, the expectation is set. It’s not unreasonable to be upset when that promise is broken and the response is rudeness, not empathy. Even now, my son keeps asking to return to that Cote location, but I’m hesitant. The Sloane Square restaurant is conveniently located for us, but I’m not sure I want to go back unless this is properly addressed. A final note: I know that Cote would never treat someone poorly for having a food allergy or dietary restriction; so why should light sensitivity be any different? I wasn’t being difficult. I was simply trying to avoid a migraine and help my son feel comfortable. That said, I want to be clear: the serving staff that evening were absolutely lovely - kind, accommodating, and brilliant throughout the meal. The issue lies solely with how I was treated at the front of house.

Really disappointing service 💔 I wouldn’t expect to be neglected or have someone walk away whilst still talking when it was so quiet. I also didn’t receive the correct change when paying with cash. Food was great! Setting beautiful but the woman serving me needs a personality transplant. Why does no one in London smile ?

We came here for dinner for my wifes birthday on friday evening, it was an early dinner before going to the saatchi Gallery. We really enjoyed the evening and the staff made it feel really special. As it was a Friday the pre fix menu was available. Its incredible value for the food you get. As it was my wifes birthday they brought out complimentary drinks for the whole family, which was a lovely touch. My son wanted calamari as a starter but it wasn't available on the pre fix. The manager who was superb, said it was no problem and let us swap it over. We all had the steak and chips for the main which was beautifully cooked. All the staff came over to sing happy birthday when they brought out dessert. It was a lovely evening thank you Cote for making it special.

Enjoyed the food and service was excellent

Fantastic service on Saturday evening from Dibka who couldn't do enough for us. However rather disappointed to find fried shallots in the green side salad, an ingredient that wasn't listed on the menu. Fortunately I spotted them before eating them so was able to pick them out but I would not say that shallots are a salad ingredient. All the other food was lovely though.

The restaurant was full and buzzing for the pre-theatre crowd. Unfortunately, the friendly staff couldn't quite keep up, so service was slow. I am glad we allowed a lot of extra time before our concert. But there is no excuse for then serving what were very clearly out-of-the-packet hamburgers, as if all the waiting time was because they were being home-made by the chef. Charging over £16 for a tough, out-of-the-box patty is inexcusable. Do better.

Terrible service. Didn’t even get a seat waited in front of two waiters who were having a conversation in their own language, one of them stopped halfway through to tell us that the other one would help us out in a moment. Proceeded to have a conversation and then they both walked away. We left straight away, as the guy said the other one will be out to help us. We told him not to bother and tried the restaurant next door who were much more helpful so i cant speak for their food but their staff need properly training. Its not acceptable in any establishment let alone one in Chelsea

We are regular customers at côté Sloane Square as it is in the neighbourhood. Food used to be good or even very good. This year everything is getting worse and worse. Today I’ve been served a watery onion soup . I kindly asked to have it exchanged but still the soup was watery and doesn’t taste like onion soup at all. Then, my 7 YO daughter ordered a steak frites. Even though the policy requires that meat must be cooked well for kids but we reminded them again. Unfortunately, the kids steak arrived with rare cooking. We didn’t eat the food and didn’t ask to have it exchanged as the service was too slow. Will never come back again

Be aware of thieves in the restaurant. I was robbed in the restaurant by the bar. My bag with all my belongings are gone after 30min of arrival. I think waiters are on it as well.

While staying in London 🇬🇧 to visit family we dined at cote as we’ve all been before and had a great experience apart , spoke about eating together there so perfect opportunity as it was round the corner from the hotel Situated on Sloane Square a lovely setting in the evening all lit up , due to the location can get busy so recommend booking 🗒️ They had a special menu featuring the apres ski but we opted for prix fixe menu that featured 3 courses for £23.50 ( great value for London ) I also had a voucher for a free round of drinks 🍸 which came in handy ( recommend signing up or keep an eye on offers / deals ) Overall everything was lovely , great service for a special occasion What I had : Starter 🎃 Me and my dad shared the pumpkin soup Drizzled with herb oil and pumpkin seeds, served with toasted sourdough baguette 🥖 this was warming , creamy and great with crusty bread Main ( I had a la carte) Warm Baked Beetroot 💜 Dressed beetroot wedges on lemon & herb aioli with julienned pear, pistachio dukka and pickled shallots, topped with crispy panisse Such unique flavour combinations and things I’ve never tried before , a great plant based option 🌱 Plus stole some of my dads chips 🍟 Dessert Chocolate Praline Tart 🍫 With a berry coulis and vanilla ice cream you wouldn’t believe was vegan the perfect balance not to sickly and great sweet note to end the meal with Drink 🥂 I tried the Limouzy, Crémant Rosé that was light , fresh Frothy pink, full of summer fruits and cherry blossom The rest of the party had white bait , patê followed by seabass and steak , along with ice cream , crepes and chocolate mousse with wine 🍷 which they all spoke highly of and enjoyed Vegan options ✅ Price ££ Would I return : yes 👍🏻

I was here quite a few times and the food was always nice, however today it put me off from eating in this restaurant ever again!. I don't like to describe the first taste I had on the warm beetroot salad...I'm trying not to throw up (something not edible I'll say the least) very disappointed...

‏My experience at Cote was extremely disappointing due to the poor service from the receptionist. I ordered a crème caramel, but when it arrived, it was in terrible condition—part of it was broken and messed up. I asked for a replacement, and they brought me a complete one, but unfortunately, the receptionist’s attitude was rude and unprofessional. It made it impossible for me to enjoy the coffee. This experience really ruined the place for me. ‏Will I visit again? Definitely not.
