This place is absolutely lovely, it was my first time there and I was very impressed by the menu for breakfast. The French toast was exceptional. We were served by a lovely young man named Dom extremely attentive lovely smile and so courteous

Awesome food and service. My mother had a birthday today. We received a complementary dessert, drinks, and a birthday song. We were very happy! Staff is very polite. I recommend the duck.

Attended with a friend for our annual meet up. Came to Cote as we have been here before. (at another branch) We were shown to our table by a very lovely and attentive reception lady, and looked after by a very attentive chap called Milan who took our order. Our visit when very smoothly and will be happy to come back again. Top marks 👌

This is my first visit to Kut. The employee, Heelan, was welcoming and helpful. I wanted to order a royal caramel cream, and she explained to me that it contains an alcohol content. Cappuccino 10/6 Caramel cream 10/10 Chocolate fondue 10/10 I will definitely visit again

This was my first visit to this venue. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was great. It was my Mum's birthday so they brought her dessert whilst singing Happy Birthday which was lovely. There is limited outdoor seating directly outside the restaurant and a separate outdoor pop-up restaurant in the middle of Sloane Square (which I presume is just for the summer months).

Always a good bet as the food is reliably and consistently good. Restaurants are well presented and never too crowded so the atmosphere is great for a dinner with family or friends.

Menu actually pretty good. Food was average. Potatoes in my dish weren’t cooked properly and very limited actual fish in the dish. Waiter was a bit surly. The place resembles a crèche. Kids running round everywhere and toys on the floor. Why is it parents can’t go for lunch with their kids like they do in France:Italy and just control their offspring? You don’t see European kids running around being grim. Shame as the place could be really good.

Dom provided great experience during our visit, very nice food and the whole team was great!

There are several chairs that have sharp bits that kept scratching my elbow. Pretty annoying.

We went as a family (larger group) and the staff were very caring and ensuring 'all was as expected'. Foodwise - average I would say as in what to expect. We had pre-dinner drinks at the square where Cote had outdoor service - please note that when ordering a G&T - you select and buy individually, ie gin, tonic and on top a massive 'Service charge' which I never understood is added to the bill....equalling a somewhat 'expensive G&T....

The best host in the deep place

1- table was sticky and not clean 2 - waiter’s are not trained and disorganized 3- one water sneezed without covering his mouth 3- two waiter ladies was chewing gum with mouth open 3- touching or picking your nose is disgusting and i saw at least 2 waiters do that 🤢 4- Food is good but i’m not coming back or recommend this restaurant to anyone

Under the belt service with very below if not terrible service. Staff are disorganised and not trained properly. The management doesn’t seem to care and it takes forever to even order a coffee. Get your game together!

We love this particular branch of Cote restaurants for the quality of food and beautiful interior and atmosphere. It’s never too formal and keeps the feel of a French brasserie in the heart of Sloane Square.

Bad experience wouldn’t come back , one of staff members welcomed us with very aggressive tone , and didn’t give us our table and told us to go to the one across the street which only served a couple of desserts and no coffee.

The guy at the front desk was so rude and didn’t talk to me in respect as everyone should and he was overall very unkind and didn’t have respect for me and everyone I was with. ( the blonde guy) .

Not a great experience. Although Cote is generally good this specific food experience was quite bad. I had the 2 course meal starting with the Charcuterie board which turned out to be some messily arranged slices of aged ham, a small carrot, some pickle slices and two pieces of toasted bread. It looked a bit ridiculous and as if a toddler had put it together. There was no cheese or butter or any sort of spread or dip. My bad for ordering it in the first place. Second course was the sirloin steak which again looked like there was zero effort on plating. The steak was well under seasoned and just tasted burnt. Overall a bad experience with the food. The staff however was nice and the service was good.

Had a lovely brunch with my family at this location of Cote. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Very elegant and tasteful place to enjoy a great brunch on a Sunday!..

Caesar and croissants were good, aperol could be better

The staff here were great and worked efficiently as a team; the woman on the door was very attentive which was so appreciated. Dom served us and treated my 4yo like an adult, which made it super special for him! It’s genuinely nice to have a meal where children are welcomed, a good bet for a nice meal and great service.

The staff were nice. We came to them at the end of the day and they welcomed us Creme caramel and brûlée are once again delicious and worth trying, even the latte is delicious

We are regular visitors to a number excellent Cote in restaurants in and around London . This was our first visit to the Sloane Square Cote. Great to see the consistent high standards here as well. An extremely pleasant and well appointed restaurant. Usual excellent food and service.

First time at this restaurant. Food was great value and tasty. Onion soup was a treat. From a seating point of view it’s an odd shape and feels a bit claustrophobic toward the back. Staff were attentive and efficient. Would be happy to recommend and return

Lovely place to enjoy lunch in the heart of Sloane Square, Chelsea. It’s very close to the tube and a great place to enjoy brunch or lunch or a dinner date. Good set menus and excellent service.

Food was ok. I had steak with frites, nothing exciting. My friend got burger, he said he was ok and he said they have better burger in the U.S. The service was super slow. I had to call the waiter to order food. We waited, the food wasn’t coming, so I stopped the same waiter again and I asked him to check. He came back and said the food was on the way. We have waited 47 MINUTES for a steak and a burger. £62. The temperature of the room was way too hot! We were sweating. I won’t go back. Sorry.

The welcome and service was excellent. I had the crudité starter and the dip that is served with it was delicious! The Breton Fish Stew was exactly what I wanted and my dining partner praised the moules frites. Would happily visit again.

I am not a fan of restaurant chains. This is a better one, but I have just had a very good experience. Nice welcome, good food if not a bit formulaic but I must say our waiter (Deep) was really efficient and pleasant. Thanks.

A nice discovery in London: excellent French cuisine but everything is enhanced by the friendliness, courtesy and professionalism of Domenico and Gabriele who made us feel at ease. After long walks around London we came here three evenings in a row. Highly recommended

The most delicious lunch in London this week. I definitely recommend Burgundy meat, which simmers for 5 hours! Salmon, fries, ice cream. I am very critical when it comes to food, but here, everything is delicious!

Walt I’m one of those guys that, in general, only writes reviews when i experience something terrible. Part of living in this toxic world I guess. However, this is one of those rare occasions I have to write about someone who went above and beyond and did EXACTLY what you should expect from anyone looking after you in a restaurant. Dom was AMAZING. He is how I would want every restaurant staff member to be. Very attentive, not too intrusive, going above and beyond what is expected, selling the restaurant with a great smile on his face, great bedside manner with all customers ( which i also observed on the table next to me). If I had a restaurant I would hire him to train all my staff. I definitely spent 50% extra because of him. Plus Cote is obviously awesome!

Good ambience. A shame, my hollandaise seemed to have a mayonnaise flavour.

The food is ok. Desserts were the highlight for me.

We had lunch with some friends They were very accommodating and friendly. Sadly, food let them down,felt rushed, but we waited a while, steak was ok , desert was awfully sad crepe felt like a floppy chewable dough ,chocolate sauce ,tasted nice In the past, it was nicer, maybe because it was busy Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, they will improve soon .

This is my review for Coté on the square at Sloane Square. The fooda are not well presented at all. The chef probably doesn't like the job or not well paid. I'll prefer other restaurants next time.

Lovely French atmosphere, friendly efficient staff, wise menu of favourites and French breakfasts. Reasonable prices. A good experience all around. I would return for lunch or dinner. (We arrive early at Ottolenghi around the corner and were told to go away, but Côte welcomed us warmly - don't trouble a visit there ... )

Steak frites was a bit bland and flavourless.

It is worth a try and the staff is highly experienced in dealing

Always visit sloane square Restaurant at least every 4 weeks

I came here to meet a family member for a midweek dinner. The experience as a whole was excellent - the food and service was utterly fantastic!!! The recommended house white wine (Ancien Blanc 12)was fantastic, however the red wine (Tuber 32) was a disaster. Firstly, it was awfully warm. We mentioned this to the staff and there was no offer of any alternative. Secondly, the wine did not compliment the meal (Cote de Boeuf 22oz - for two) at all even once it had been cooled. I wish they had more knowledge, or a sommelier in house.

I sat down to have breakfast by myself outside. I was half way through my meal when I went to the loo and when I came back they had taken my food away and sat another group of people. The avocado toast was awful, the avocado was green and had hard bits in it. I won’t be coming back that’s for sure. Really unpleasant experience.

I've been here a few times for a pre-theatre meal and what stands out for me is the friendliness of the staff here. They give you a lovely welcome, are efficient at the service and very attentive. The food is good and nicely cooked. We enjoyed a pre show meal at a busy time but never felt rushed. I look forward to the next visit.

We arrived ahead of our booked time and were very appreciative of being seated straight away despite the restaurant being busy. All staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional. Food was perfectly cooked and presented. Service was speedy.

To noisy.. and the host told us we have one hour to sit and eat!!!! It is not pleasant to say this to a customer Also or order takes ages to be served ?!!! And we got messy food and cold eggs … First and last time in this place … very disappointed

The restaurant I will never visit again. I would highly recommend you to look for another restaurant nearby, and I am sure there are plenty. First of all, the service is unbearable. We had to ask for tap water twice, and when he brought the bottle he just put it down hard at the corner of the table. When he was collecting the plates, he staked my plate on the top of my partner’s plate on the table and then took it away. Also, we asked for Oliver oil and vinegar twice, and in the end it only came with Oliver oil. To be honest the starters and the bread were fine. But when the main came it looks like this…and this Salmon costed me 21 pounds without tax and service charge. The sauce was dry and so was the salmon, which smells really fishy. It felt like this plate been left on the counter for 20 mins and put in a microwave to serve us. Again, if you see this review I strongly suggest you to find other restaurants.

We had a very disappointing experience on the 9th May, where my brother who is allergic to nuts, was served a side containing nuts, despite his repeated reminders that he was allergic, and the assurance from the staff that what he was served did not contain nuts. They placed a side of green beans in front of him with a blue flag placed in it, to indicate that it was safe for his allergies. When he went to go and serve himself some green beans he noticed a number of almonds sprinkled throughout the dish. When we arrived at the restaurant he made it abundantly clear to our server, and the manager that he was allergic to nuts and sesame seeds, he studied the allergy tablet to ensure that he was going to be alright and reminded the staff when they took our order. I was the one who ordered the sides, and our server said she would put through that we'd have sides that did not contain nuts so my brother could eat them. Fortunately my brother is a lot more diligent then the staff when it came to this and he did not eat the sides, otherwise we'd have had to rush to A&E. When we flagged this mistake to the staff, there was very little apology and the blame was being passed around like a hot potato. They initially offered to only take the price of that one side off the bill, before i pointed out that wasn't good enough as his health was at stake, so they took his meal off the bill as well. I'd be surprised if we ever got to this restaurant again, despite the fact we've been a number of times over the years as we initially deemed it one of the more safer restaurants to cater for his allergies.

The classic caramel was delicious and worth a try The Americano was very good Worth trying and visiting

This morning 7 May 24 @ 1115hrs on entry to Cote I waited to be seated. There was a man with a beard waiting and didn’t even greet me or say good morning I had to ask him to be seated and as it was a lovely day and there were seats outside I would have thought he may have asked me whether I wished to be seated outside. Eventually I was seated and then I had to ask his colleague a female waiter to move me seats as I was not happy sat next to the noisy bar and coffee maker. I was moved seats by the lady and I then had to ask for a breakfast menu as the lunch menu was already on the tables. I had a wait again and this time I had to ask the floor manager to be served and she dealt with it by asking the man with beard to serve me straight away. My order was eventually taken and I also had to ask for table water, surely this must be standard as part of waiting on and when my food arrived I waited again and then found myself having to ask for sauces which should have been offered to me. I felt like I was being a nuisance and inconvenience for a service that should already and be automatically provided. I felt both the man and lady waiter were quite rude and off. If you don’t like your job at Cote then don’t work there and spoil my dining experience as a paying customer. I chose on this occasion not to pay the optional service charge.

I had a terribly disappointing experience at Cote. The service was practically non-existent from start to finish. Our order for bread was forgotten entirely. The table remained cluttered with dirty plates even after we finished our meals, making it difficult to even move. The ratatouille was a disaster - the courgettes were barely cooked, rendering the dish nearly inedible. And to top it all off, the waitress showed no interest in our satisfaction, failing to ask about our meal and barely acknowledging us when taking payment. It's safe to say I won't be returning anytime soon.

This place is very noisy, making conversation difficult. I ordered crab maison, which was a mistake since I don't like capers, but even without the strong taste of capers I don't think it would have been worth eating. My wife had the fish stew, which was good but nothing special. The bread that came with both dishes resisted being eaten. As for the frites--well when I go to a French restaurant hungry yet leave half my frites uneaten that is a sad commentary. We shared an asparagus dish, which was ok but again nothing special. The wines were quite good for the price (Pouilly Fume and a right bank Bordeaux); clearly they are carefully sourced. The desert (meringue, strawberry, rhubarb and custard) was enjoyable. It was very busy at 7:00 but emptied rather quickly, like a theatre district restaurant in New York. You'd think that after the crowd departed the service would become more attentive, but the opposite occurred--I was struck by how busy the staff seemed whilst paying so little attention to the diners.

Sahil, has been given to us the Cote experience. I am working in Peter Jones around the corner and because of the attention to details, value and atmosphere I will suggest it with my work colleagues and clients. What made the difference was just a simple meal after work with colleagues on a fix menu , and other venues at times are kind of careless, it was so charming and unexpected all the attentions, what a great team and what a great manager must to run this restaurant!

Either Côte has gone downhill, or the one at Sloane Square is bad, or we just visited on a bad day; I will not be daring to find out by visiting again. We were served mediocre food, and the standards and flavours did not match our previous experiences. Lousy food and mediocre service were further ruined when we constantly watched “the host” or “manager” belittle his staff in front of customers. He yelled at a cleaning girl, saying, “When you clean your face, do you leave the other half unwashed?” and then made her clean the legs of ice bucket stands. He gestured our server towards the table where they had the cutlery and computer etc, tapping on a drawer and saying, “Don’t forget”. Our server scowled and sorted out the cutlery in the drawer very loudly. Poor girl and our poor ears! It felt like a poorly run tyrant ship. Along with eating sorry food, we felt sorry for the staff working with someone like that. So yea, I won’t be going back to Côte again.

Considerably better than other brasserie chains. Capable staff who understand customer service. Food at least one notch better than similarly priced competition. Better table density than much of the competition too - here it would be necessary to lean to one side in order to place a glass on the next table with an outstretched arm. Studies have shown that restaurants with more space between tables tend to have higher repeat business and this place is certainly worthy of multiple visits. Sadly, a refit has resulted in the table density being increased, meaning that I must withdraw my positive comments in this regard and reduce my rating from 4 stars to 3. On a Friday evening visit in May 2023, the place was quite full. Perhaps Chelsea diners have become used to sitting cheek by jowl with their fellow customers.

Disappointing whist not busy. As a regular, twice monthly tonight was very poor food. Salmon dish from the main menu was tiny, in no way a main dish. Fillet steak was ok and other dishes so-so.

Wow, the Mushroom Bourguignon was absolutely amazing! It was incredibly delicious, and the chocolate vegan dessert was phenomenal; so good even my meat eater friend wants to come back to try the vegan options. Can't wait to come back for more!

No atmosphere, noisy. Food ok I guess. Main complaint was with the service though: the staff couldn't have cared less. I guess that is what you get when you include a service charge. Bring back tipping, meritocracy.

A busy restaurant, do book in advance. Nice decor with a stylish vibe. Efficient staff they really know what they’re doing, on the ball with customer service. It’s really helpful that they have a gluten free menu and to know that Cote are fully accredited by Coeliac UK. Takes the stress out of ordering! Staff are superb. Nothing was too much trouble. We were well looked after. Food is delicious and great value for money.

Very good! Been to cote brasserie quite a few times over the years but never this one. We went for the Sunday sharing platter which I’d never gotten before and it was incredible! Really good value for money for 25 quid each. Highly recommend it!
