I really like green tea and the green tea flavor here is very delicious. I ordered the green tea, red bean, and mochi menu. It's very worthwhile and very cheap. There's nothing like this in the city where I live. I want to come back to eat at this restaurant every day, but it's very far from my house. I came here to eat when I stayed overnight to play Thai music. It's not expensive and very delicious.

My favourite spot in mcr for sushi and Japanese food and desserts. A favourite date spot of mine and we have gotten dinner there more times than I can count. I’m not usually a fan of sushi but they have such a verity that there’s even stuff I will go for and it’s so reasonably priced it makes trying sushi easy. They have such a wide verity on the menu there is definitely something for everyone. It also really cosy inside. We always go upstairs for dessert after and after trying almost everything for the dessert menu the croffle (croissant waffle) is my favourite. The mango ice is the stuff of dreams and i have made the trip into town just for that before. Overall just amazing.

Just recently ordered our favourite sushi platter and always a happy customer. A variety of choices, very fresh and really satisfies our sushi cravings 🥰. The rice grains are firm yet tender with a slightly chewy texture; just what you want from a sushi ☺️. Special mention to Selina (expo) and Myles the head chef for their excellent customer service. Highly recommended!! 💯

Had a hankering for Japanese food when we arrived in Manchester and luckily our hotel was just around the corner from the Chinatown district. We wandered into Wazuzhi (formerly Wasabi) after searching google for our nearest options and it came up with the best reviews. It’s a standard conveyor belt type set up with someone to order any hot dishes. We both opted for our favourite beef donburi. The beef was so delicious, tender and thinly sliced and the sauce was amazing. We didn’t eat anything else but those around us were clearly enjoying the food on offer. It is a tight squeeze but if you can get in, it’s so worth it. I loved the atmosphere and was happily bopping along to the k-pop playing on the TV whilst I ate my lunch. I would definitely come here again when I was in Manchester.

I came here when it was still known as Wasabi and found it decent, but it was even better the second time around! In addition to a few plates from the conveyer belt, I decided to try the tonkotsu ramen and it was easily one of the best Japanese dishes I've ever had - so creamy and flavourful with plenty of delicious toppings. Great selection and value for money. The only downside is the size of the restaurant (customers are packed in with very restricted room for movement which impedes service speed), but overall a fantastic sushi spot which I can't wait to visit again.

Drove 25 minutes to pick up food. It was all terrible tasting and ridiculously over priced. Bland, no flavour or seasoning. Could not tell what was in the gyozas as they had no taste. King prawn teppanyaki was a bowl full of noodles with some cabbage grated through it and a few hard peppers thrown in but not actually cooked. The Yakatori Chicken was fatty and stone cold it was all a complete waste of money, and didn’t get finished. We will never be returning.

Wasabi has now changed to wazushi but still works the same, set menu with conveyor belt sushi is the thing to try…. The nicest pork bone broth in Manchester, good strong taste, the pork slices were good too, not too much fat… the accompaniments in the ramen are flavoursome too….. the the sushi dishes are down to you to choose, lots of choice, raw fish, cooked meats, veggie sushi is all there to be taken advantage of… be prepared to queue to get seated especially around lunch to tea time… worth the wait, also plays k-pop on there large screen tv if that’s you’re thing.. thumbs up 👍 good ramen is difficult to do

I love a dessert bar! This one is pretty popular and it’s walk-ins only, so you may have to sit downstairs for a little bit before being able to go up. I got a half and half Snow Ice (there’s around 10 flavours to pick from and so this is ideal if you can’t settle on one) while my friend went for a Croffle which looked delicious. There’s a range of other puddings to choose from; on top of this, there was a specials board. I’m already thinking about returning.

We’ve ordered two bowls of ramen with beef and duck, tasty by the meat a bit dry.Service saved at the end: once in, we’ve been told to go outside without greeting to queue (we were the queue), and once inside they checked our temperature - well done, and gave us a sit next to the kitchen. Called in here for a quick late lunch and was amazed at the great value that was offered on their lunch menu. It, s the typical sushi restaurant format with the dishes going around the main eating area on a conveyor belt. You take what you want then pay at the end. The quality and choice was fantastic and 7 plates and green tea came to just under £12, probably half of what I would have paid in other similar restaurants. The service was attentive and friendly. I went to Wasabi for my birthday lunch. I ordered set menu B for £9.95 and chose the pork belly tonkotsu ramen and a honeydew melon bubble tea (£3). It was all delicious. The ramen was fantastic, and the sushi options I picked from the belt were great too (particularly the tofu skin). My only gripe is the staff, although they're incredibly polite, they are very eager to remove your empty bowls. My boyfriend had finished his, but I had not, and the waiter was sneaking up behind to try and take the bowl. It felt very rushed like they were waiting for the seats. I'd visit again though, the food was delicious and loved that they play K-POP on the TV!

If you've been to Yo Sushi then the format is similar, a conveyor belt carries various small plate around and you help yourself to them. There's also additional a la carte options, such as various soups, rice and noodle dishes. I vistied for lunch on a weekday with my wife. There's an discount on the plates at lunch and we took full advantage. We we in as soon as it opened, as 12, and were promptly seated. After ordering drinks and Miso soup, we just got stuck in. We had a variety of small plates including spring rolls, fish cakes and different types of sushi. Overall an excellent experience. The food was lovely and in all cost £25 combined.

Had looked online for a nice sushi restaurant to eat at in Manchester and Wasabi did not disappoint. Really good menu, big variety and nice seating around the belt. Belt was constantly full with dishes with new ones being continuously added. I mostly have the vegetable options when I go to sushi and the variety was lovely. I recommend the vegetable tampura (amazing) and the spicy cucumber rolls! Fairly cheap (£30 for two including beers). Would 100% go again and will be going again.

Let’s start with the only down side I found on my visit: the seats myself and my partner were in had very minimal room to move as we were squeezed into the back corner.

We arrived very late during a Sunday evening and was happy that we were able to be seated! The food is still a good price however the quality has fallen since I’ve last been. I had the pork belly ramen. The noodles had changed from their usual thicker selves and the ramen was tough like leather. The waitress intervened our meal and conversation to collect plates almost the instance we removed them. A total of 6 times our conversation was interrupted. Not a problem trying to keep on top of plates but we had to keep ducking and be asked to move aside to let her slip in for them. The belt was stopped halfway between our meal, meaning we had to get out the seats to retrieve the plates, all whilst the rest of the restaurant was being closed down and cleaned. We would rather have been turned away if it was too late than made to feel rushed and unwelcome. We asked if they could bag our leftover sushi up for us, instead they handed us the takeaway box to do it ourselves. Poor service.

I didn’t eat in but the establishment looked very clean, nice and tidy! The girl that served me was so so so sweet, I asked her for her suggestion / favourite meal & if she could make it exactly how she would eat it (as a fellow hospo worker, I often hate these questions so I was prepared for any reaction) and she made it with a smile!! I’m sorry I didn’t get your name but you’re a credit to the team! & Thanks for the katsu-teriyaki salmon bowl lol xx

Disappointing evening. The service was good and atmosphere of the place was nice but the food was average at best. We had such high hopes as the menu reads like a dream but had to send back a couple of dishes for being undercooked. In my opinion it's overpriced for what we received
